Richard and Jen are awesome hosts, they can't do enough for you. Nothing is too much trouble. All staff are friendly and happy. The hotel is set off the beaten track in its own little oasis, but within easy reach to the main road either by foot or scooter. Beach bus drop off/pick up is brilliant as it gives you chance to get your bearings before getting a scooter, which they can sort for you at the hotel. Rooms are lovely, clean and quiet. Food is exceptional and most importantly the beer is cold. Swimming pools and the bean bags which float on the pools are divine. Give the yoga a go as well and you will truly be zenned out!! We also booked a pick up from the airport which was perfect after a long flight. Can't recommend this place enough as it is perfect for having that bit of peace with easy access to all the beautiful beaches, temples and restaurants.

Let’s start with the most important thing - people. Great team, they can help with all your needs, such as local culture, best restaurants, locations, temples, etc.
It's a very convenient location for surfing (Uluwatu, Padang-padang, dreamland, and Bejin are close), mini marts, local restaurants and temples.
The food is really good, excellent price and quality. You can choose from a large variety of appetizers to enjoy by the pool, maybe having cocktails, brekky, lunch and dinner. Our room was very clean, welcoming and safe. You can request a special beautiful decoration for your room, with flowers and animals made with towels.
Richard and Jenni always are around, meeting the guests and making sure to assist you anytime.
My family and I had an epic time and we can’t wait to come back!

Came here solo in December 2022 for a relaxing view days before heading back to Canggu. The room was massive and the bed was brilliant. All staff were great, on reception, housekeeping and on the bar. The food was okay - although quite overpriced as they add on the tax afterwards. Used the shuttle bus one day to Uluwatu Beach and that was great. For the price you pay the area is lovely, very nice and quite although bear in mind you will have to scooter/Grab Bike to any of the locations in Uluwatu. But lovely for a few chill days. Also the breakfast that is included in the price is great value! I had Dinner here one day and had the Chicken Satay and that was delicious. Lunch options aren't as great!

It is a fabulous place to stay and exactly as it says in its name......hidden! When you leave the madness of the main road into Uluwata you go down a long windy road that you think is going nowhere and then you arrive. Staff are fabulous and the whole place has such a relaxed feel about it. We stayed in the lumbung villas which are worth every penny of the (small amount) extra that you pay. Food is delicious. Grab taxis are there within 5 minutes and take you anything from 10-20 minutes to the endless places you can eat in Uluwata. The pictures look amazing but the reality is that the hotel is nicer than the pictures. 10/10

Amazing! This place instantly felt like home and leaving was so hard! Rich, Jenni and all staff made everything so comfortable, warm and welcoming. I was well taken care of in every moment and so impressed with the service and culture fostered at the resort. Great included breakfast, excellent beds and rooms, high standard of yoga in a beautiful setting, amazing gardens, pools, gym and facilities. Hanging out at the resort was epic! I added on lots of guided surfing for an intermediate level surfing and the local guide made all the difference in the water. My surfing improved out of sight and I think the surf guide add-ons is well worth the value. Location is great. Highly recommend and I will be returning in November for more of S-Resorts and the crew!

Absolutely gorgeous spot on the Bukit. Serene, calm and with enough going on to keep you entertained.
The resorts staff make you feel so at home and treat you like family each morning, especially Richard. This creates such a lovely atmosphere where you feel so comfy relaxing!
The breakfast is outstanding - you get a.menu with about 10 dishes to choose from and I tried 4 and loved them all.
The morning yoga was brilliant and the spa was amazing too!
I couldn’t recommend this spot anymore - for the price it’s just spot on!
The gym on site is absolutely amazing too, I had two great work out sessions with everything I needed for strength training!
The pool, bean bags and everything is just pure relaxation. The garden is beautiful too

This hotel exceeds all expectations. It is clean, nice and harmonious. The staff and service are very good and the food is delicious and fresh. The hotel is very well located, with a taxi you can get around different places in Uluwatu in about 10 minutes everywhere. The only negative was the shower and bathroom. I highly recommend this hotel.

The resort is a really hidden and quiet place, wonderful expansive garden and two pools. The rooms are large and clean, have aircon. The food was quiet good, the cocktails of minor quality and the prices for cocktails over the limit. The staff was always friendly and attentive.

Great stay! This hotel is excellent value for money. The food is excellent, it has a great gym and pool area. The only downside is the size of the shower (I’m only 5’1” and it’s a tight squeeze) and it’s a little bit far away from restaurants etc. buy taxis are so cheap and easily accessible with apps like Gojek that it doesn’t matter too much. Overall would recommend!

We highly recommend S Resort Hidden Valley! The included breakfast was amazing and delicious with fresh ingredients. All the staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome. The resort has a very relaxed and chill vibe. My partner and I had the best massage and we enjoyed yoga every morning. We originally booked 3 nights and then ended up extending another 10 nights and staying for the whole duration of our Bali trip. Will definitely be coming back!

We took the free shuttle ( it is the driver from the hotel- it is normal small van car) just from the hotel to airport. When you made the reservation you shouldnwrite them that you need airport pick up and they will send you the driver. And it will take you to the hotel.
Hi I didn't go but my wife and daughter did and they said it was a most excellent time and very worthwhile.
I like to walk myself but no, I don't recommend walking from the hotel to nearby restaurant.. (1) Too far, (2) Nothing to look at -- only jungles
I really recommend scooter rent, it's very cheap, and you can use Waze application to guide you around the area.
I don't think the hotel provide a scooter for rent, however a 10 mins walk into the village or take the free hotel bus and there are plenty of options to hire scooters, I cannot give you a price but nothing is very expensive in around there.
