Good for value - while this may not be the fanciest resort in Phuket the hotel team’s hospitality is excellent! Lots of activities to offer for kids and adults, speedy cabby rides to commute around the hotel. The room facilities are generally clean and tidy however perhaps it’s time for a touch up. Breakfast offering is great as well!
Location is good although Kamala has slow life, staff is courteous, overall must stay place. The staff tries to make you comfortable in all possible way. There needs to be more choice on breakfast for vegetarians.
Stayed three days at the Hilton Arcadia(??) before moving to the Hyatt. Both are great but the Hyatt is 100% the clear winner because of its newly-opened casa boho pool-side tapas bar. The secluded infinity pool and generous-sized double-bed-sized lounges with huge heavy towels creates an absolutely stunning location. Sip on a cocktail or freshly-opened coconut and lie back and watch the sunset. The only complaint is the DJ who was playing on the 25th. He completely ruined the atmosphere by playing the most uninspiring, unheard-of set I can ever remember hearing anywhere ever. He ruined the perfect venue. Things people should know about the Hyatt - you will be collected and dropped off by a golf buggy when you need to go anywhere because it’s on a steep (tsunami- safe) hill. Children will love this. And it’s a bit far from the town. Compare grab prices with taxis and tuk tuks to find the best deal. Try to find a cheap driver and use him/ her all the time because the travel costs soon build up. Also, heaps of ignorant, selfish or uneducated tourists still go riding elephants over here. These people make me sick but there is a supposed elephant sanctuary that says it has rescued elephants and that now lets travellers bathe with the elephants and even give them pedicures and massages. They do not offer rides. The Hyatt breakfast is amazing as usual, with heaps of vegetarian options including curry, noodles, big baked beans and lots lots more. Join the Hyatt’s frequent flyer program and you can get decent upgrades after a few stays. The Hyatt is still fully serviced but the Hilton has stopped giving out free sewing kits and razors and only has stingy 24ml of shampoo in its bottles. People who take home the leftover shampoos and free bits and pieces will be disappointed. Ignore the whines below from people who say they found a hair somewhere. It’s a brilliant hotel, staffed by brilliant people. I will be back - very soon I hope. Congratulations Hyatt…
What a fantastic time we had at Hyatt Phuket. The attention to detail was impeccable. Cannot fault our time here. Breakfast and dinner were outstanding. The live music was just perfect while enjoying a cocktail while the sun sets over the sea. The staff were so attentive and could not do any more for us. Truly a wonderful stay. Well done Hyatt, keep it up.
I am visited Hyatt Regency Phuket for my special dinner. I met Maimoon at reception and asked her about facilities in hotel she was very informative and friendly. She recommended us to join the buffet at Pool House restaurant. Special thanks to her for very good service.👍👍👍
