Set just off the main road in Kamala is our little oasis consisting of just 14 rooms all facing the tropical swimming pool.Each room has its own patio right outside your door so you can relax and soak up the sun or watch the kids play whilst you enjoy a glass of wine/beer or get stuck into that book you have been meaning to read.every room has a mini kitchen with microwave/large fridge (mini bar) and sink. The bathrooms are well designed all with rain showers and fully tiled fall to celing.the large studio type room is spacious and all rooms have kingsize beds,sofa,32 inch LED tv with cable tv as well as full wifi access.rooms are decorated with viberent colours that you would expect to see in a tropical setting.with the beach just 8-10 mins walk (2 mins by car)and Patong nighlife just 10-12 mins drive away Kamala and Kamala Tropical Garden Hotel/mini resort is the perfect location and place to stay.

We stayed here for just over a week in Jan 2020 and we absolutely loved it, it is a small peaceful hotel with all the rooms facing the pool, this makes it very sociable and you often get chatting to other guests which we really enjoyed. The staff are great, Air is brilliant receptionist and helped us loads during our trip with recommendations for the best massage and even going out of her way to help us track down a lost credit card, thank you so much. The manager was also nice but seemed like he had a lot to deal with and we did find him a little bit angry at times. Rooms are spacious and clean and with small kitchenette which we found really useful. The location is perhaps the only slight let down, it is just off a busy road and even though its close to all the other shops you are just a bit removed from the other tourist stuff by the beach and can be a bit noisy at night. It does feel peaceful once you come off the road though and into the resort. The beach is great for kids (we had a 3yr old with us) and beautiful sunsets. The hotel is great for all types of travelers, I am a solo traveler but there are also couples and families with children here all having a great time , location is also perfect with many good restaurants and bars very close by , but it’s also very quiet here being so close to so many restaurants and bars , staff here are very friendly and accommodating so I would recommend this hotel to anyone

Just coming to the end of our 10 night stay here and I can honestly say it’s been perfect Room is ideal for us , pool is on our doorstep. Breakfast is a 5 minute journey away courtesy of a free shuttle Beach is a 10 minute walk if you fancy a stroll or once again the reception will drop you off and pick you up Local bars on your doorstep Forget the negative reviews , this is Thailand , this is a little piece of paradise. Wanted to love this place but it’s near a super busy street and my in-laws had trouble sleeping every night due to pounding music at the bar nearby. Apparently it even shook their bed it was so loud. But hey it’s Phuket so maybe that is unavoidable for this price. If you don’t mind the noise, this place is pretty nice for what we spent. Perfectly fine rooms, great pool, and decent breakfast by the beach. What set this place apart was the quality of their service. They arranged transport for us at least 8 times while we were there (even brought us to the nearby gym for free) and were always super helpful if we needed anything.
