We stayed for five nights and couldn't fault it. We had an ensuite room with a balcony. The room was serviced each day and was exceptionally clean. Fresh bed linen and towels daily along with complimentary water. The staff were so friendly and helpful too. Good location and plenty of local places to eat. Bars nearby although we didn't use them, preferring to go along to the beach front bars. Only a short walk away too. Great little place at a great little price!!
I stay for 3nights in dormitory Good hostel Friendly staff Good spot for eating or walk to the beach Cleanliness room and toilet. Excellent more than I expect. If I come back to Kamala I will stay here again.
A small hotel located 7 mins away from the beach.plenty of bars, clubs, restaurants and spas around. Lively place. Kind and responsive management. We found our AC wasn't working right at 11pm. They got a technician to attend to it immediately. A Value Accommodation.
I arranged with the manager by email that he would have a taxi waiting for us on arrival to phuket. I confirmed with him flight details etc and he reconfirmed all was ok. We arrived on time, but there was no driver outside, we waited over an hour then rang the hotel to ask where he was, they hadn't a clue what I was asking but eventually they managed to confirm there was no taxi but would send one. So not a good start and after waiting an hour and a half someone local picked us up. Never received any explanation from the manager. On arrival check in was quick and the room was ready for us. We had booked a premium room with the bathtub. On entering the room it was clean and big enough, however the room is very dim mainly because outside of your patio window there is a white stone bathtub that is enclosed in by a 10ft wall that surrounds it. So whilst the idea of an outside bathtub sounds great, the reality is you have no view apart from a white wall which is topped off with wire to stop anyone getting in the room I suppose. It does feel like a prison cell. As we had booked quite a long stay my wife asked if we could move rooms. To be fair they did not hesitate with this and as the hotel seemed to be quite empty, we were shown a premium room on the first floor that was acceptable to us. This one had a balcony which was better than staring at a white brick wall. Not the best views, basically a car park, building yard and a small rubbish tip, but liveable. The hotel advertises itself of having a restaurant. It doesn't full stop. If you want breakfast you can buy a voucher off them for 200bht per person and walk across the road to use the breakfast buffet at a completely separate hotel. We checked it out once but was not very good. The same applies with the pool, the hotel doesn't have a pool, but for 100bht per person per day you can walk across the road to the hotel and use theirs. The room was cleaned everyday and coffee, tea, water and toiletries provided. Beach towels are also provided daily. The young woman behind reception was pleasant and helpful. There also was 2 or 3 other youngish chaps who work there, although not sure what there jobs are as most of the time they are just sat at the front of the hotel that leads onto the street. We never met the manager in the time we stayed. I think this is really a guesthouse come boarding house as opposed to being defined as a hotel. One thing I do think people should be aware of here is it's location. Having read all the reviews on here I was surprised at what we found. As soon as you come out of the hotel the main road is about 75yds on the right. Next door but 2 is a girly bar that was always empty. Next door to that was the skeleton of a disused building that was basically piled high with all kinds of rubbish. Then a bar on each corner directly onto the 4 lane impossible to cross busy main road. The hotel is on a street that has a few massage parlours, couple of restaurants etc. But it is definitely in a seedy area for the girly bars. The first 2 just across from the hotel are 'the boom boom bar and one call 'naughty girls'. This area less than 50 yards from the hotel has at least a dozen of these girl bars. Most of these are frequented by the local expat old guys who live there. Not many tourists seem to go in them. This area is probably not known I guess to around 90% of tourists who stay in Kamala, as it is hidden away from the main beach road resort. To sum up this is a budget guesthouse in a run down seedy area. The plus side it is clean and most of the staff are helpful. Also have to point out sleeping was a problem sometimes from girls in the bars screaming, motorbikes in and out of next door car park, constant traffic on the main road and generally people coming in and around the hotel at gone 4 am because of the area it is in. The bars are all open into the early hours. There are far better places in the resort itself away from this particular area.…
We loved this place. Su and her fellow staff gave a personal and professional service. They were charming with our young family and helped with arranging trips and transport, often very well priced. We took full advantage of the free shuttle to Ao Nang and really enjoyed the pool, which wa# never too busy. Highly recommended,
