We've got a voucher from the wedding ceremony at Richmond hotel, 3 days 2 night - villa room type. The room is very clean and decorated with wood furniture, separate between the living room and bedroom. In the bedroom, we found a couple of swans decorate with flowers that they made from a towel. The staff is very kind and we get many helpful guides from them. Thank you so much for make our great honeymoon trip :)

Words and pictures do not capture the full beauty of this place. The resort is situated in a quiet cove in between two fresh local markets, 2 supermarkets - excellent for those who love to cook, and walking distance to the beach and many restaurants. Close to town and shopping but quiet ideal location. The restaurant in-house serves amazing and dilicious Thai food prepared by two very friendly chefs. They were more than happy to cater to me being vegetarian and adjusted meals accordingly so I could eat freely from the full menu. They also offer Thai cooking classes where some of my favorite recipes were explained step by step and the chef prepares them with you hands on. The rooms are spacious, with great natural lighting, great views, and even good vaastu (feng-shui) is present in the lay-out. They provide modern amenities but with a classical Thai undertone/theme, so from the moment you wake up, you can tell you are in tropical kamala, not just some random hotel. The thing that gives this place a golden star though is the hospitality. Each and every staff from the airport pickup driver, to the front-desk clerk, to the managers and even the cleaners (and chefs) were very warm, always shining with a contagious genuine smile, and they always did the most to make u feel at home and comfortable. Service from the heart has surpassed my expectation here and I must sincerely say this place has some of the best hospitalty of anywhere I have ever stayed. Rather a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or simply time to relax, recharge and reconnect with nature, I would stay here again without hesitation and definitely reccommemd this place, you will not regret it.

We recently toured around Vietnam but we started and finished are holiday at this resort. Well were to start, from the minute the driver picked us up from the airport we felt at ease, the resort it self is in need of a up grade and the owners know this and some upgrades are being done...But do not let this tiny detail put you off, the staff treated us like family and we must say a Big Thank You to "Ay" and all the team. Our family bungalow was excellent and fully loaded with all you needed. The in house restaurant serves the best Thai Green curry you'll ever taste. Fabulous place..great location...and Staff that really couldn't do enough for you. Stayed here twice and would return tomorrow.....

Nice little place with 5 large bungalows and about 18 apartments. the bungalows are large and spacious. There is very peaceful and virtually no people we had the pool for ourselves in the high season. we traveled with our daughter for 10 months, she slept in the bedroom while we were relaxing by the pool and had switched on the babyalarm. the staff are amazing they can arrange everything and they love kids. we got fantastic massage at the hotel as they ordered from outside, really good. It takes about 15 min to walk to the beach and several restaurants. would say the best food we got in Kamala was at the hotel. we ate lunch there 3 times. Kamala itself is very touristy. if we were to return we would clearly stay here and we give our warmest recommendations.

What a fabulous place to stay. Pim, Prai and all of the team at the Pe La resort made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. No matter what our request they were always so helpful and happy to be of assistance and ALWAYS have a big bright smile at the same time. There is a real family vibe from all the staff and they really make a great team. The strawberry and banana smoothies were just delicious. The hotel is only a short minute walk to beach and main walking street but enough away that it is a peaceful resort to relax in by the pool. We travelled as a family with a small baby and they had everything we needed, cot etc and we stayed in one of the bungalows. The door has any extra lock up on the top which gave us extra security so our child couldnt reach the lock. There are two large pools, one is a shallow family pool but its big in size so this was a major plus and the other pool is lovely for a relaxing swim to unwind in a quite and peaceful atmosphere. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Kamala. I rented a scooter with the help of reception at a very good price and it was great to be able to visit all the resort's near by and see the sights. Fresh towels were provided daily with the room cleaning and beach towels were always ready and waiting whenever needed. I will come back for sure.
