They tell you lies. They call you a liar. They make there own rules up. If you dare contest them they kick you off site. With a blind eye they let people LIVE on this HOLIDAY PARK for 12 months for years, most of which do not pay council tax TV licence ect ect. This is totally ILLEGAL. And they know it goes on. I've seen it all with my own eyes what they turn a blind eye to. You will be very sorry if you waste your money. They charged us £2,500 just to take our van to the gate!! BUYERS BEWARE OF THE LIES

Absolutely shocking customer service between the office and head office - appalling, quite happy to take your money and not find you a caravan. Neil - can never speak to him avoids all contact, and all you get out of Janet in the office is I will get him to ring you back (maybe in another lifetime). Would avoid here at all costs.

Where do I start.. we came here for the weekend (a big family group) No toilet roll in the toilets? Have to take it with you to the toilet. Also, you’d think there would be a cut off point for people to play music and have raves at their tent must of been around 3am we all (including young children) got to sleep! I get people come camping to enjoy theirselves but it’s not considerate or fair to keep the whole campsite awake so people can have party’s on the field. Big group of people laughing loudly, shouting, screaming, music blasting! And we had to be up early to pack away in time to be off the pitch. Next thing we go to the bar/pub bit to watch the England final and we had our little well behaved chihuahua with us and was told she wasn’t allowed in.. couldn’t sit outside and watch it because there’s no tv screens outside! Couldn’t leave her anywhere as we had packed up but wouldn’t leave her in a tent alone anyway! so my partner had to drive 40 minutes home to take the dog. This is supposed to be a family place and I don’t see the problem with having small well behaved dogs in there! Most places pubs etc around near me are dog friendly!! So after all of that palaver we then queue up to order breakfast, more so for my little boy who was really hungry and was told ‘sorry we’ve run out of breakfasts’ that just put the cherry on the cake after a night of no sleep and being told our dog wasn’t allowed in. We hadn’t brought any breakfast stuff or any source to cook breakfast as we had planned to have it in the pub whilst we watch the game so I had to go to the shop and see what I could get to feed my 7 year old and he chose a pot noodle (for now until we left camp and I could get him something proper to eat) luckily the kind lady in the shop offered to boil the kettle and make it for him. I’d say the only good thing was the evening children’s entertainment and the play park. Majority of the staff were friendly although one staff member shouted at my child for sitting on the stage. Next thing we noticed was the fire exit door had a bar lock on it.. surely this is illegal?! What if there was a fire, we couldn’t get out the door!!! Shocking. Just a ruined holiday and a waste of money!

We have recently come home after a fantastic weekend away with family camping at Shaw hall. We stayed for two nights over a weekend. We all had a amazing time. The camping field is excellent and huge plenty of space for the children to run around and play. Good facilities toilets/shower basic but everything you need. The on site bar is brilliant all the staff were very welcoming and friendly. We can safely say we looking forward to returning to Shaw hall over the summer holidays. Would highly recommend especially for families with children. Thanks Shaw hall for a fab weekend

We are staying at the site, It’s our first time coming here, We have stayed at many camp sites over the years but this one has been a bit of a letdown. Badly sign posted on a small road between some houses. One huge field for tents and a area with a small bar and some outdoor seating. The kids entertainment on at evening and Adults entertainment on in the day time, what’s that all about? As for the toilets. We had to use the space behind the tent as it was more hygienic! No toilet paper and no privacy as each loo had its own window ! The showers were black with scum around the base and you needed a gas mask to enter them! The park is located across a main entrance road so the kids safety wasn’t thought of very much. The shop was a bit odd. Like the local shop from league of gentlemen or something. The good thing is that on Sunday they hold a giant car boot down the road and a few shops for some food. I would stay here again but it wouldn’t be my first option.
