Great place, great service, and a fabulous location. A delightfully simple set of 4 cottages. Absolutely nothing was too much bother for the owners who have put their hearts into making this place so welcoming :-)
We stayed for 3 nights and were fantastically looked after by John and Sebastien. The lodge is a short boat ride from Port Barton - pick up was arranged beforehand (Sebastien contacted us shortly after we booked then very efficiently handled a last minute change of our travel plans - thank you!). The location is lovely, peaceful and serene with fantastic views (we were also treated to a spectacular sunset), apparently monkeys sometimes visit the premises - we missed out but enjoyed the daily fruit bat fly pasts at dusk. There are only four cottages - brand new, very cosy, with a comfy bed, balcony, hammock and a well-stocked icebox on request. The food is good, John's breakfasts and fresh fish/seafood dinners (served on a banana leaf!) are excellent, so is Sebastien's…

The Boatman brought us to Elsa island, German Island, Exotic Island, waterfalls for swimming and two coral spotting places in the middle of the sea. We had fruitful harvest and were satisfied for the service. We also had dinner at Sunset Colors. We had ordered BBQ chicken, peanut butter pork, soya sauce pork, pork with shrimp base rice, garlic rice. The food was delicious and highly recommended. There was a playground in front of the resort. My kids were playing happily. Though we did not sleep there…
