A small cottage outside of Port Barton in front of a magnificent beach. A great spot to relax and enjoy the area. The staff is very helpful, the room clean and the location absolutely perfect. We'll go back!
I have spent a couple of days here with my wife and greater family of my sister and brother. The resort is very well managed by Sebastien and his partner. It is a place to relax and just watch the wonderful view, a relief when you arrive from busy El Nido. If you want some exercise the resort has good equipment like kayaks, volleyball net etc. and can arrange boat trips to near bye islands ans snorkeling places. Food is also good. So I can really recommend this place for people who enjoy nature and an authentic environment.
My wife and I had a very enjoyable 3 night stay at Sunset Colors a few days ago, staying in superior double room above the restaurant/reception area. There are also various night sounds from nature that you should expect to hear... the sea, birds, dogs and other occassional night animals. There weren't any mosquito nets, but there is…
My wife and I spent 3 super relaxing days at hotel. We were warmly welcomed by owner Sébastien, and much enjoyed the fresh food cooked by Luiz and his crew. Logistics in and out of hotel were well organized (van on way in from Puerto Princesa, private car on way back), and the full-day island hopping was great. We would go back any time! This was our 7th time in Asia having traveled extensively, in Thailand, Burma, Cambodia and Vietnam. We found paradise on earth at Sunset Colors, where we stayed for 5 nights in early April. Where can I start raving about our time there, our lovely super clean chalet, where we could see the sea from our bed. The setting, quiet sandy beach with coconut plantation with rice fields and buffalo behind. The hosts, Sebastien and Luis always attendant, polite, discreet and always ready to help. The delicious food of Maria, I will never get over her tiger prawns and I have been to some excellent restaurants in my lifetime. One of my husbands great experiences was swimming with the turtles on our day trip, organized by Sebastien, with Simon the boatman. I hope I have not forgotten the…
