We stayed 3 nights in Sunset colors. Welcoming straff and Luiz was very professional and helpful. Food was excellent especially the sea food plate ! Many activities to be done like biking to the waterfall -a must! Also the island hopping tour - recommended. Overall an amazing stay and 3 nights were just enough. Note that there is no electricity after 9 pm and wifi very weak but who needs that when on holidays?!
Beach life has never looked great when in Sunset Colors :) A place to stay in Port Barton when EL Nido gets jampacked ;) Anyhow, Manong Randy and his family took care of everything, From preparing our food to looking for a boat to bring us at Long Beach in San Vicente. Our thank you would never be enough. Sunset Colors is located away from other inns in Port Barton. You can eat your meals by the beach and watch the sunset all by yourselves. We got lucky during our stay coz they were only two groups staying there at that time. So, we have the whole place by ourselves. A place perfect for absolutely doing nothing at all.
Our stay at Sunset Colors was nothing short of amazing. Booking went very smoothly and the manager, Randy was very helpful. After coordinating our schedule with Randy, we immediately received a message from the owner, Sebastien. They were very helpful and they took the initiative to book our land transfers from Puerto Princesa to Sunset Colors and back. The place was amazing and the cottage was very clean. Although they didn't have electricity the whole time, I guess it was good like that because we felt has far and peaceful the place was. The resort arranged an island hopping tour for us with an excellent lunch and fun guides. The food was a bit pricey but it was delicious. They even surprised me with a birthday greeting. It was lovely. Our stay was worth it and we would…
My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights after reading the great reviews on trip advisor! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved the sunset we got on our last night. Every meal we had was wonderful and the prices are on par around 250 - 350 pesos per meal. All the staff are very welcoming and they have SUPs, bicycles and kayaks to keep you busy! The manager even went out of his way to get some medicine for me after I picked up a bug in El Nido. The rooms are very basic with limited electricity so were very hot at night but we expected it as we came in the height of summer! Would happily go back!
We stayed here for eight nights and it was absolutely relaxing! Sebastián, Luiz and the rest of the staff are very friendly, helpful and made our stay very comfortable. The rooms are nice and clean. The food in the restaurant is also very good. Note: you only have a few hours of electricity per day and barely Wi-Fi (but that is also common for the rest of Palawan), but we didn't miss it at all. The nature around Sunset Colors is beyond beautiful. You can take a free kayak, paddle around and discover the scenery. We also booked our island/snorkling tour at Sunset Colors, which I would definitely recommend. In short: if you are planning to visit Port Barton, you should definitely stay some nights at Sunset Colors!
