My partner and I loved our stay at Sunset Colors. If you want to get away from stress, this is the place to be. We loved the calmness the place brings to us. Luis and his staff are also very nice and accomodating. We didn't mind the few hours of no electricity as it gives as more province-like feels. And the food, superb!!!

Sunset Colors, located about a 15-20 minute boat ride from the main beach at Port Barton, is a rustic gem: 5 or so thatched roof cabins with big open windows (no A/C, no WiFi or electricity except at night, a rudimentary bathroom) centered around the main restaurant/reception area. The views from the cabins and from the beach are spectacular—the eponymous sunset colors perhaps the most gorgeous I have seen. The beach is not ideal for lounging or swimming (there are a couple of comfy hammocks for reading and napping), but we were able to take an excellent island hopping tour the hotel arranged: the reefs near Port Barton are truly amazing, such a diverse array of aquatic life, even great sea turtles. They even caught a few fish to grill up for our lunch. Aside from the water

it's just a 15 mins away from Port Barton thru boat ride, if you love peace and quite, away from the crowd, detoxing from any gadgets, this is a the place. Electricity is on scheduled only, beach swimming is not ideal due to its shallow beach front and island hopping is a good option, but the sunset is so perfect in this resort, it changes in many colors. All the staff are accommodating.

It's on the mainland but it feels like a private island just fantastic. The resort consists of cozy cottages, all rattan, and 2 larger, rooms above the restaurant. The team is welcoming and attentive. Thank you to the team for its warm welcome. Greetings to Randy and Luis. Roberto from Paris and Aura from Manila.

This was a highlight of the trip! Book yourself here early and for as long as you will be in port Barton. The facilities are very nice. The rooms are raised off the ground with closed roofs, decent bathrooms, fans in the rooms and beach views! The tours is great value for what you get, 800p for a tour with whomever is going that day. When we went it was 5 people and we stayed as long as we wanted at all places. The food is fair priced and delicious. Offering a while range of foods, seafood, chicken, pork and veg options. They have kayaks, snorkels and bikes all to use for free. The staff are all very kind and helpful to get you sorted anyway you need. I would highly recommend setting aside some time to enjoy this beautiful area, and oh ya, the beautiful sunset every night makes
