Detailed Reviews
Stayed there for 2 nights only (was too short). Upon arrival with boat we were sent to the restaurant/lobby and were welcomed with a welcome drink, in the restaurant they have a no shoe policy and clean water to clean the feet. Manager Loui was extemely friendly and explained everything from activities to what we could do on foot. Kitchen was closed but they were flexible and still made food for us! At night dinner is served on well dressed tables right on the beach! Overall enchanting stay thanks to good food, great/friendly/professional employees and a very clean and pretty much untouched natural places. Many more good things to say about this place, but find out for yourself !

Warm atmosphere, no focus on money and clean departments everywhere.
The place is full of peace and harmony cause the manager does everything by his heart. The staff is always happy and smiles, the kitchen made everything fresh. Rooms, terrace, beach, garden and the service perform all on a high level.
The prices a more than fair, you get free ferry from Port Barton and you will catch their the positiv vibes.
Book in advance... Before the rates raises... We had just 1 night and 2 more dinners their.
First 10,0 in three weeks travalling in the Philippines.

Port Barton is 💖.... clear blue skies, abundant marine life, white sand and crystal clear water. What more can i ask for! And did i mention the food??!! We stayed at Sunset Colors last Dec 19 to 21 and it's really what I expected it to be. It's away from all the noise and crowd. Laid back rustic setting, serene ambiance, big rooms, good food and excellent service from all the staff from Sir Randy to Kuya Junior ,our server on our first night. He's worth commending, very professional to all guest 👌You need to ride a boat though to get to and from the main shore of Port Barton where all the action is. It didn't bother us coz they provide the boat for us. Will definitely stay here again 😍🌴👏💯

Great place to relax for a few days! The crew will pick you up in Port Barton and they will take you to the resort. WiFi is available during the daytime, food is good and they offer tours that are way more easy going compared to the regular tours. Very friendly personal

Very rude and arrogant manager/owner. Never cleared that the only access to the hotel is by boat or if u have rented a bike or car. Taxi will not take u there. Our flight was changed by the company and one day before arrival they informed us that we need a boat at 11 oclock at night and need to pay 2000 php (apart from the 5000 php taxi) because there is no other way to reach the hotel. I accused them that they were not clear with the information provided to a foreigner that does not know and the owner replied back with a very ironic and rude way. Do not recommend it at all and if u book this hotel do it through booking cz if u do it though fb and something goes wrong he will not refund the money stating that he has his own policies that can change accordingly. Suggested to keep 1 night and return the 2 night as with booking policy but he preferred to keep the whole amount and put the room again as available to booking. Unbelievable

What makes this place worth coming back are the staff who made our stay indeed incredibly unforgettable. I've been in Port Barton many times but I wish I know this place back then. KUDOS to Louise and all the staff for making things possible and doing go beyond our expectations which speaks a lot to run this kind of business as not everyone practicing this personalize and more engaging excellent service. You can never go wrong staying at this place as the staff got you covered following the scenery, laid back ambience feels that will help you recover from hassle and bustle of your daily life and the food was perfectly prepared by Chef Joel! We had shanghai roll from day 1 to day 3 and the mixed seafood was outstanding! cant wait to go back, Keep it up Amor, Chenchen, Nyor, Al, for all the wonderful assistance extended.

I cannot assess the hotel because they have canceled my reservation just for asking them about the prices of the transfer from the port to the hotel (it is isolated from the town) since they indicate that it is €15 per couple when I had read comments that indicated that it is included. Well, that's why they cancel the reservation without asking, period. I don't know about the hotel, but the staff is arrogant, overbearing and rude beyond measure.

We spent 4 days with idyllic family. The bungalows are typical with a view of the beach...the hotel is reached via a short boat ride from Port Barton. As in many places in Port Barton the electricity is cut off for part of the night and the shower is not hot.
Friendly welcome. top restaurant offering a varied and quality choice. We eat with our feet in the sand while watching the sunset. Quality beach massage service at low prices.
Finally, the team organized a great island hopping trip for us... the best we've done in the Philippines. In short, an enchanted parenthesis in our trip

This was our 7th time in Asia having traveled extensively, in Thailand, Burma, Cambodia and Vietnam.
We found paradise on earth at Sunset Colors, where we stayed for 5 nights in early April.
Where can I start raving about our time there, our lovely super clean chalet, where we could see the sea from our bed.
The setting, quiet sandy beach with coconut plantation with rice fields and buffalo behind.
The hosts, Sebastien and Luis always attendant, polite, discreet and always ready to help.
The delicious food of Maria, I will never get over her tiger prawns and I have been to some excellent restaurants in my lifetime.
One of my husbands great experiences was swimming with the turtles on our day trip, organized by Sebastien, with Simon the boatman. I hope I have not forgotten the names of all the lovely staff at Sunset Colors.
My highlight was definitely Kayaking in choppy deep sea with my husband, a keen sailor, am scared of the deep sea, to see the waterfalls. Its definitely one of the most crazy things i have done in my life and utterly loved it!!!
I should also mention the other guests at Sunset Colors all very nice and interesting.
The 4 lovely dogs of the hotel who even followed us when we went trekking through the coconut plantation and were keeping an eye on us.
Thank you Sebastien, Louis and everybody at Sunset Colors for giving us one of the most amazing holidays in our life.i cant wait to come back!
