There are only 2 large hotels in Port Barton. This hotel was ok for the price. The staff was Very Friendly and helpful. The Hotel needs someone to come in and "help" it improve. Gorgeous Pool with NO pool chairs...just plants. I envision at least 13 lounge chairs could be added and most of the plants could be moved around. Then you could lay at the pool and have a few drinks in the sun! No umbrellas in sand area by the few lounge chairs that they have. There was no food servers, you had counter service only. Beds are HARD. No Money Change at the Front Desk. Very Small Beach City, Quiet mostly, some kids love to use "Firecracker like" noises on beach. The boat trips were GREAT! Snorkeling was Great on the boat trips! Went to see Bigaho Falls on Private Boat...worth the money! Not Commercialize yet, so that is nice. People in the Philippines are the nicest, always smiling and singing people around!

Physically decent hotel its just no one smiles here unlike the rest of port barton. The bar is usually self-service due to lack of staff and/or lack of initiative. Dont order the salpicao unless ypu have very strong jaws. Would love to come back to port barton, just not at holiday suites

Great view by the beach, in the middle of town, swimming pool is OK it was filthy though, the staff are Ok, not very friendly though i think they are under staffed, we had to carry all our laugage through check-in and check-out, bed and pillows are super uncomfortable, cute little room though, Breakfast is shocking absolutely disappointing, NO effort or whatsoever, they served rice, rice soup, eggs, a sausage you can't eat, and a sardines.. NOTE it wasn't free we paid it with the Room rate.

This resort has a great location and is quite new. It has beautiful views. Unfortunately, management and service is poor. We arrived and a large group of people had taken over the pool area and were playing very loud music. This went on for 6 hours and even when we asked management to do something nothing was done. In addition, food was not taken away and dogs were eating off the tables. Rooms do not have water views and facilities are not good. Sheets were ripped, towels were soiled and had holes. For the price were poor experience.

We choose this hotel based on the reviews in Tripadvisor, unfortunately there are not many good hotels in Port Barton and this is supposed the best one, breakfast is regular one, not based on foreign necessities, rooms are medium size and clean, sane than rest of premises in the hotel, however hotel do not have a contingency plan for unforeseen events, we have had problems with wifi, up and down during two days, electricity short cuts, there is not generators to compensate this, and last water cuts, when asking to reception the depot was used for laundry instead of guess, from my point of view human higiene is first and later on laundry due to is possible to have extra towels, sheets and so on but is really uncomfortable have dinner full of sand and sea salt

TripAdvisor usually steers me straight, but I couldn’t believe what I was seeing when we walked past the Holiday Suites and saw only one 2-star review.

It’s a new hotel (2021) and there’s only one review (as of this writing), which is why it didn’t make my original screen when looking at Port Barton options on TripAdvisor. After a room tour and a drink on the covered patio we switched out of our non-refundable place down the beach for our remaining two nights in Port Barton.

This place is a gem! It’s Filipino-owned but set up like a Western-style accommodation (to this westerners eyes, anyways). Very sleek and modern. Exceptionally clean, crisp room with AC, Wi-Fi, TV, tea kettle, safe and a mini-fridge. Excellent bedding, glass shower doors, a gorgeous infinity pool with outdoor showers, palm tree swings over the crashing waves, top notch lounge chairs, outdoor fairly lights and so far delicious - and generously-portioned - food.

I’m not sure if it’s COVID related or not, but this place should be a lot more expensive, or it’s peers should be a lot less expensive. No comparison to what we were staying at/paying at prior to moving.

Port Barton itself is very chill and laidback, so this oasis of modernity might not be what you’re looking for, but it sure was for us. A perfect way to end our two week stay in Palawan and the Philippines. Absolutely amazing country and the people we’ve met have been the epitome of gracious and kind. Salamat po! (Hope I spelled that correctly)

We changed to this hotel because at the other resort we only had 1 hour of water a day.
One of the best on the island, the rooms are clean and comfortable. They clean it every day, decent breakfast with buffet in front of the beach. Rich and varied menu and cocktails.
One thing missing is some umbrellas on the beach loungers to protect you from the sun, a proper coffee maker (which is not available anywhere in Port Barton) and a "Do not disturb" sign so you know when the room is occupied .

- Full of street dogs inside the hotel rest area, no one does anything to make them leave.
- Swimming pool broken throughout our stay, no attempt was made to fix it
- Poor breakfast, and some food in poor condition.
- VERY DIRTY rooms, you ask them to clean them and they are still VERY DIRTY, they don't change towels, they leave the floor sticky, there is a lot of humidity everywhere, bathrooms smell VERY BAD, the cleanliness among many other things does not correspond at all to a hotel with a rating 4.1 (on Google) and €130 per night.
- Very uncooperative staff (they don't help you at all)
- Bathroom walls are disgusting, they are full of dirt.
