Bungalows in Port Barton located right on the beach. Bare in mind this is basic/budget accommodation but its location is certainly a neat feel. Fan room, cool shower and even a bucket flush toilet was about average for a stay in this budget range. The accommodation has a restaurant with reasonable priced meal options. Wifi pretty average which is not uncommon and a reasonable amount of noise from sunrise onwards

We ran into this place out of luck for two reasons. First, almost all other places were fully booked; secondly, this was kind of hidden behind the Radio Palawan hut, and looked more like a restaurant rather than a lodge (they run a restaurant as well). It is locally owned and offer cottages with sea view for great competitive prices. Cottages are nice and clean, very spacious, including bathroom. People working there are really friendly and strive to make you feel comfortable all the time. We stayed there for 3 nights and my girlfriend and I left with nothing but good impressions. Worth to mention, free breakfast is served which gives you enough energy to start the day already.

The bungalows are right at the beach and you can sleep to the sound of waves.
The staff is wonderful and the food is good.
The water is a bit muddy from the rivers that flow into the Port Barton Bay, but when you go out by boat or kayak the water is crystal clear.

We stayed here 3 nights and for 200 pesos cheaper than elsewhere, the standard dropped dramatically. We left with everything we owned damp and smelling like mould. The bathrooms were not particularly user friendly; no real toilet, only cold water. Don't eat here, the food is much better elsewhere. The main thing is that the hostel was LOUD, always. Why do people feel the need to be so loud 24/7??? No chance of an early night/lay in/cheeky afternoon nap. Despite all this, it is right on the beach... but then so is everywhere else.

This is a really nice place in front of the beach. The rooms are spacious and clean. Considering that this place is also in front of the sea it gives good value for money. Also the staff are really friendly and helpful and also make good arragements for trips. Also a free breakfast (the filipino breakfast is superb) is a huge plus.

Ofcourse there is no ac or hot water but i would not consider this as a minus as this is something i expected you wouldn't find easily in a in front of the beach location.
