Its about the head Waited - more of the experience guy - who has been there for long and decide to provide the power trip - due to his experience he thinks to be able knowing the back ground of the client ( This the amazing Mr Ramen who Pick & Choose who to provide the basic standard service - My daughter & I - We were ignore All the way from start to finish. It was just a 6 years Old kid & a man in simple short & White Polo We understand that Voila in a City Business Hotel and One cannot expect much . Reception wise , the greeting is in a very decent professional manner. After the Movie & Diner , my daughter & I decided that we could be staying in due to the fact after it would be late. I was informed that Breakfast start at 07:30 , so we down stairs for 07:45 as we wanted to check Out very early due to other commitment. At the time, we step in and look for a seating it was 07:50 - there was only 1 person having. My daughter age 6 , wanted to be seated outside - By 08:10 the head waited Mr Ramen - told us we cannot be outside as it is the smoking area - meanwhile - as he was talking to me - hi s head was turning the other direction - he was running after a couple & their daughter - the chic family with a suitcase - the parents just came after us. So , upon Mr. Ramen advice , we move inside and sat just by this family. Its only after 30 mins - After servicing people who came after us - Telling me So what do you want ... I don't want to write more - I was just amaze how Mauritian like me - judge us by the way we dress and color of our skin - Just appalling - May be Mr. Ramen was having a bad day but for someone like me with experience - I am more of a complexity where Mr. RAMEN decides to turn a blind eyes In a nut shell - this guy - the experience Mr. Ramen spoil my weekend - My daughter was disappointed. The way he serve us the food was amazing The other family was asked Coffee - Juice - Bread - Etc , Etc Ours - Was just amazing treatment I wanted to speak to the manager - Short hair lady - semi grey hair but at the time - she was having an issue with the system ....…
it was indeed a very good welcome with good staff. good manners. room well setup and clean. however we will appreciate more variety of foods and deserts. our only request is if we could get a better view for our room. we will appreciate if we can get room on another floor rather than ground floor for better and nice view. thank you guys. see you soon.
A great place to hold your meeting, pleasant atmosphere, no noise Privacy Clean and tidy Very helpful staff, help with setting up banners and so on. Seating arrangement can be done according to your choice. :)
It was simply a great stay... The employees were all welcoming and attentive to the provision of service... I spent much time in the restaurant the food was tasty.. The breakfast was delicious thanks to the chef... The waiting staff had that sense of hospitality... You rock guys
I had my reservations about select service properties and what it really means but having stayed at full-fledged resorts for one or two nights, I was able to fully compare the experiences. I stayed 6 nights at Voila during my business trip to Mauritius and I thought I'd not find the services adequate. I thought wrong! Everything was just enough including the amenities. The crew is very warm and welcoming and after a week, I felt like I was leaving home! Priced just right and just adjecant to Mall of Mauritius, you have plenty of other restaurant options just a two-minute walk away too. I don't think I will stay anywhere else!
