We were so taken by the beauty and serenity we added a day to our stay. The grounds are immaculate, the river cove is beautiful, the house is full of history, the rooms are large and comfortable. The breakfasts are large and creatively prepared and presented. We felt we had escaped the roughness of our current world and found an oasis of beauty and serenity.

I have stayed at Warner Hall several times. Each time has been just as wonderful as the first. The rooms are very clean and beautifullydecorated. I love waking up with a cozy fireplace going in the mornings. I think almost all of the rooms have one. Location is about a 20 minute drive to the Yorktown Beach and Williamsburg area. The "Cry Witch" show at Williamsburg was awsome! Highly recommend you check it out.! We rode the Jamestown-scotland Ferry and visited Chippokes Plantation and state park. Also Bacon's Castle was nearby. My family and I had fun exploring the town of Gloucester. Lot's of reasturants, shops and a art gallery. One of our favorite places to go is Nuttles Country store. They make the best homemade sandwiches. However this place is more of a grab and go rather than a sit-down lunch. At Warner Hall my family loved hanging out on the pier and watching the fish play. Very nice air conditioned boat house to come in out of the heat. There are bicycles, board games/cards, books to read and so much more at Warner Hall. I saved the best for last... The owners Troy and Teresa are amazing!! They go out of their way to make your time at Warner Hall an unforgettable experience. The Breakfast are always delicious 😋 I really appreciate all of the kindness and hospitality they have provided to me and my family♡ Thanks for reading my review. Stay blessed♡♡ Jeannie

From the moment we drove down the beautiful drive flanked by crepe myrtles and lovely white fence we felt we were on a true Southern Plantation. We met the owners Theresa and Troy (and Martha the beagle) before they left for their vacation but were enchanted by Phil Jenkins the "substitute" Innkeeper. He regaled us with stories of his prior Inns and entertained us with song and piano. It was such a treat after long and hot croquet games. The Breakfasts were divine and our room, the Washington Suite was all we expected. We surely felt we were guests in someone's home. The views were spectacular. We can't wait to come again!!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at the Inn. We booked the Washington Suite so we could bring our pup along. The Inn is beautifully appointed with period antiques that provide luxury and comfort. We were delighted to stroll by the ancient pecan trees to the boathouse/dock to watch the sunset. Our pup had lots of space to roam and chase dragonflies. Phil, the visiting chef, created delicious breakfasts each morning - even with my dietary restrictions. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay and will definitely return many times. A real gem within a short drive from Virginia Beach. Jennifer

The Inn at Warner Hall is a stunning property. A majestic estate set on the river. The inn keeper, Theresa, was very helpful with providing dinner recommendations and even provided crackers and cheese in the afternoon. Breakfast on the back porch was delicious. Also be sure to enjoy some time sitting on the pier. It was so peaceful. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay at the Inn! I saw great reviews online but it sounded too good to be true. But we thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will be returning again hopefully soon. I’m sure it will be beautiful in the winter with the snow.

Our room was perfect and wonderfully comfortable; we slept great and arose rested to a sumptuous breakfast. The Inn is gorgeous and a treat to explore. The Robert E. Lee memorability was engrossing and a thrill to see. The dining recommendations were spot on and we had a great dinner at Olivia’s in the Village.

This experience was amazing, from the minute we arrived. Great parking, right by the front door. The host helped grab our luggage to go to the third floor. The bed was so comfortable, I didn't want to get up. The view was gorgeous from our window, the room large and comfortable. The breakfast food was awesome, and on my special diet, they had no trouble accommodating me. Plus, coffee, soda, water always available, as well as snacks such as chips and Grandma's cookies. Way better than a hotel, and we will definitely stay again!

Lovely grounds, beautiful/most comfortable rooms. Breakfast on the enclosed rear porch & service was outstanding. Convenient to town as we were attending the Daffodil Festival--worth the trip from NoVa. We will definitely return sometime in the future. Just a delightful visit.

We have stayed at the Inn at Warner Hall twice and each experience just reinforces our opinion that it is the best inn on the East Coasts. The rooms are spacious and elegantly appointed, the views spectacular, and the hospitality unmatched.
