This is a lovely hotel with a nice relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. Great location on the beach and a few restaurants within walking distance. The breakfast and the restaurant serve great food. The staff are exceptional - kind, friendly and very accommodating - they can’t do enough for you. Nahn was really helpful - arranging for some yoghurt and aloe Vera for my sunburn, organising an iron and ironing board (!) and recommending various activities - nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.

We very much enjoyed the relaxing, peaceful, and family-friendly atmosphere during out 10-day stay. The setting is very special – nice arrangement of the restaurant area which is overlooking the pool and beach, surrounded by a nice garden and the huts. A special highlight were the fresh fruit selection and great menu offers, all on one spot, which made our life with 3 kids much easier. Breakfast is great with abundant tropical fruit and the evening menu very tasty and home-made in the central kitchen. The family room was very spacious and beds comfortable. The only thing that did not impress us too much was the sea as the waters are very shallow. We definitely recommend the Peppercorn Beach for families and would love to go back.

An Top no-nonsense place high up in the North I almost forgot about. I am writing this review many years later as I still think this place has a specific charm. Having stayed in the last 8 years in 15 different resorts in PHQ, peppercorn resort idyllic location with the villas at the border of the sea were just awesome. We negotiated with the staff to let a Khmer fishermen pick us up and visit the small inhabited islands up to the border. It was an incredible experience.

We arrived for two nights and stayed for the whole week. All the people that work there are exceptionally friendly and you feel yourself almost as you are a part of the family. The breakfast and the restaurant serve very tasty food. The location is amazing: the hotel is on the outskirts of the village so you have privacy and calmness and in case you want to go out and eat something local, you need only 10 minutes to walk. Great beach: in case it is not stormy (as it might be in November) the water is perfectly clear.

A family of five, we stayed for five nights, towards the end of a one month tour of SE-Asia. It was the perfect relaxing experience, with charming accommodations, super-friendly & attentive staff, and great food. We loved their chickpea sallad! While staying, the hotel staff helped us arrange day trips to other parts of the island, and a snorkeling trip with two local fishermen, which we highly recommend. If you are visiting Phu Cuoq island, this is a great place to stay.

It was my pleasure to spend time in this lovely hotel. It is family owned business and as such it pays a lot of attention towards its guests. One could say that is normal, but we had also other experiences. I came with my family and it was my birthday. The staff were very friendly and helpful to support my needs. I am very grateful for their contribution and advices for a nice stay on the island.

Peppercorn Beach Hotel is located quite a distance away from the touristic hubs of Phu Quoc, next to a fishermen´s village. When exploring the area around it you get an impression of the real life conditions of living on this island. We stayed there during the windy season in November when it was tough to get into the sea due to strong waves. The off-season atmosphere when the hotel also wasn´t overcrowded made it all the more relaxing for us. The hotel´s staff is very attentive and kind, giving you the feel of a family pension and providing more personal insights. Food at the restaurant, which has an open kitchen, was truly excellent and couldn´t have been fresher or more tasty – fantastic! When for personal reasons we had to cut our stay one day short, the manager didn´t charge us for the last night. A truly generous gesture.

Dear Philipp, Thank you so much for taking the time and share your positive experience about your stay with us in November. The team and I are delighted to hear that you felt relaxed in our surrounding and enjoyed the food from our kitchen. And yes November is a tricky month with some days the wind can get intense. We do hope you are able to come back in a different month when the sea is much calmer. Best wishes, Linh and the Peppercorn family

Peppercorn Resort is a really amazing place. The staff is so helpful and nice, you feel very much at home. The bungalows are bright and clean with a Nordic vib, placed close to the white bounty beach. The food is amazing and cooked from the ground up, home baked bread, granola and freshly squeezed juice. The kids loved the place and was shortly after arrival running around swimming in the pool and playing with the cats and dogs - feeling safe and at home. The place is very authentic and a great alternative to the big impersonal touristy hotels. Huge recommendation from us!

Dear Morten and family, it has been our pleasure to host and looking after you and your family. We are so thrilled to receive positive feedback regarding our new breakfast offerings. I feel lucky and privileged to be able to bake and make all our home-made food here and feed our guests, but what's even better is to see the enjoyment from our guests and of course the recognition and appreciating of our efforts. Thank you for the huge recommendation and please do come back. Best wishes, Linh and the Peppercorn family

The two of us had a lovely time at Peppercorn Beach. First the location on a small stretch of palm-fringed coastline looking out over an aquamarine sea over to Cambodia is perfect. The resort is quiet and relaxing and the accommodation is of good design and comfortable. The sea is clear and warm to swim in. There is a small reef with some good coral and small colourful fish a few yards from shore This is very suitable for snorkelling, which we really enjoyed. In fact we had organised a snorkelling trip to another part of the island but it was no better than at Peppercorn. The food at the restaurant is excellent with freshly cooked ingredients. There are also a few interesting restaurants that we visited in the town of Ganh Dau, within easy walking distance. I used the bicycles on offer a few times. I wanted to cycle to a path within the National Park about 6 miles away. Unfortunately the whole of the National Park has been closed by the Army. What stands out is the kindness and attentiveness of the staff, particularly Nhan, who went out of his way to help us. Many thanks to him and all of his colleagues. Highly recommended if you want a comfortable relaxing stay in an idylic location that seems a world away from the monstrous development elsewhere on Phu Quoc.

Paradise! This is one of the most beautiful spots I’ve ever stayed in. Our family stayed in a bungalow villa, doors opened straight onto a sea view. Hammocks to lay in and relax. The children loved that they could take the kayaks out & the snorkelling equipment (free) to explore the calm waters. The food was incredible, and the staff (Nahn & lihn) were so attentive. Such a lovely contrast to staying in one of the bland resorts on phu quok. Highly recommend.
