We mixed up our dates and times and they were extremely accomodating and flexible. Even though we arrived very late and no dinner options were available they were able to source some food for us which we were extremely grateful for. The private access to the beach is lovely first thing in the morning and the rooms were great. Wish we stayed more than 1 night.
My wife and children ( 13 + 15 ) had a great night staying here while visiting Port Arthur. It’s on White beach, so a walk along was a great way to end and start a day. Good kitchen facility easy to use facilities, and a great host in Bill. We stayed in the Mexican themed beach house ( seperate from the main house ). There were a few little things that would make this place even better. A roof over the outdoor eating area and a shower return ( it was hard to keep the floor dry ) There was an IGA close by for provisions, and a great little cafe ( Pear Cottage ) for lunch.
My husband and I loved staying here at Casa Harpers. It is a Mexican themed beach shack that was just renovated and is amazing, all the textiles and art work brought from Oaxaca, Mexico. They have a bottle of mezcal for guests to enjoy, kitchen fully-equipped, bbq, an amazing outdoor area with a jacuzzi, fire pit and the best part... you have the most beautiful private beach (White Beach) soooo blue!! We loved it, enjoyed it and we want to be back ASAP!
My hubby and I recently stayed here in the Beach Studio. It was fantastic. Self contained, well presented, quiet, and close to the beach. Our host Bill was so helpful. Looking forward to another getaway soon
We loved Harpers on the Beach! Not your average bed and breakfast at all! We stayed in the Beach Studio with private deck area and twenty feet to the absolute white sand beach. An awesome whale murial on one wall. Full mini bar, espresso coffee machine etc. Breakfast was excellent especially the Birchler muesli and fresh berries plus yummy home made lemon marmalade from their lemon tree and the best tomatoes I have ever tasted. Jill and John were the perfect hosts, not intrusive but always available. Finally the dinner on our last night will be always remembered for the ambience and extraordinary cuisine from masterchef Jill, served in the main house's elegant dinning room. All the organic veges straight out of the garden, little new pink eyed potatoes (first time) to die for and fresh caught blue trevalla followed by rhubarb crumble and blueberry ice cream for dessert!! Great conversation with other guests. We'll be back.…
