The 24-hectare coral island, located on the Southeastern tip of Cebu, is home to Bluewater Sumilon. Pristine white sand beaches abound. Its sandbar is known for its changing shapes and shifting locations around the island, depending on the season. There is a natural lagoon teeming with high mangroves. On the south side, a lighthouse rests on a protected tree park and a "Baluarte", a 19th century historical watchtower. It is also home to the Philippines' first marine sanctuary. At Bluewater Sumilon, let the islander's easy-going friendliness shine through and keep the pace low-key enough to let you feel pampered.
Fall inlove with the beautiful Sun as it rises. 😊 It will totally warms your heart. 😊 You will appreciate nature. Smell the super fresh air from the sea. Take off your shoes and feel the sand on your feet. 😊 It time to relax, choose #bluewatersumilon.

It was amazing! We had an amazing lunch! I went snorkeling on their private beach, and the view was breathtaking! I really wished we could have stayed longer. The only drawback is that it’s an island, so there’s nothing much to do but laze around. Haha

We had an amazing 3 days, it wasn't enough! Kudos to all the staff, you guys were awesome! From Grace in the mainland executive lounge, to Corinne in Front Desk and Chin who guided us to the sand bar - you made us feel very welcome with all your smiling faces. All the staff will greet you when you meet them and they will never hesitate to assist you. Security was everywhere too so you feel very safe. Food was great! Premier room was spectacular. Love the double door cabinets that opens in the bathroom and in the room. We love the baby sharks and the snorkeling! It's a bit of a drive from the airport around 3-4 hours but it's worth it. The only thing we didn't like was that the airport pickup was late. We had to contact the hotel because we couldn't find the car. We had to wait…

We definitely love this paradise! We chose this resort to be our prenup destination (July 2017) stayed 2 nights and we came back (July 2019) for our 2nd Wedding Anniversary for another 2 nights. We love the sandbar and the main beach and the infinity pool is definitely amazing - a perfect spot for sunset watching, enjoying your glass of wine or just chilling with the whole family. Aside from swimming, you can do other activities like trekking, snorkeling, biking, kayaking and many others! We even enjoyed the kids' play area too! The villas are spacious and the view of the ocean is spectacular especially when you wake up early for the sunrise. The food is delicious and the service excellent! They have very well-trained masseuses if you'd like a relaxing whole body massage. We…

Extremely disappointed. DO NOT STAY HERE. We showed up to them saying sorry we missed their boat and we were not able to stay. They didn't even try to help us. Tried to charge me $500 for the beer I had while waiting for them to tell us we cant stay in the room I paid $250 for. Terrible service and no refund. THEY STOLE OUR MONEY

We absolutely loved staying one night at Bluewater Sumilon Resort. Everything the resort has to offer is phenomenal. There is an infinity pool, you can rent bikes, there is a lagoon and kayaks, The best buffet restaurant and the rooms are really spacious and clean. There are soo many activities that you can do here we felt absolutely spoilt for choice. The staff is super friendly and will accommodate all your needs. It was the best decision ever to spend one night here. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks for having us.

Traveling with a large group of friends to a variety of resorts in the Philippines was a trip of a lifetime. What ended up being the most wonderful and beautiful was Sumilon Island. This tiny island off the coast of Cebu has the resort of Bluewater Sumilon Island. It is an all inclusive resort where we had individual cottages with views of the sea, the most tasty breakfast and dinner buffets, two restaurants, bars, two swimming pools, and several beaches, along with massages, snorkeling, outdoor hikes...we were completely satisfied and thrilled with our stay. We highly recommend Bluewater resort.

Such a lovely day trip we went again for a second day. The snorkeling here is great so I can only imagine the dive would be too. You can pay to use the resort for the day and you get access to the beach, swimming pools, buffet lunch, equipment. You can also trek or ride bikes here. You can also just pay to visit the sand bar to swim too.

I had heard a lot about this resort and had originally planned a day trip, last minute we decided to spend one night. The property and the room were amazing! The views are obviously incredible all around because it's an island of it's own. We also did some snorkeling off the coast which, although was beautiful, was not regulated to standards I would prefer. You can literally walk on the coral and destroy it as much as your heart desires. The hotel itself was over-priced for what was offered. The service was also lacking. We had just come off of four days spent traveling around the Philippines islands staying in places much cheaper, with much less to offer, with way better customer service. There were multiple times we had to wait 10+ minutes for drinks when we were the only…
