I have slept better in the 4 days I spent at Puri Dajuma than in the last year anywhere else. In these crazy times, I needed a place to reconnect, rest, sleep, swim, laugh with locals and do long walks on the beach. I found it at Dajuma and if you are reading this, stop searching and make yourself a favour and book your stay there. Everything is incredible at Dajuma, the Chef surprised us with incredible vegan dishes, the team was immediately available to answer any question we had. The swimming pool is epic, incredible sunsets and you can walk for hours without seeing any foreigner on the beach... and it is mostly clean in this part of Bali. I can t wait to be back!

This place is close to paradise on earth. Very well-groomed gardens and villas. Super friendly and accommodating people. There was not a single wish or request unattended. We occupied a one-bedroom villa with outdoor bathroom. right next to the pool. It was very quiet retreat with the option to either use the pool or walk down to the beach in less than 3 minutes. The restaurant(s) offers a great variety of dishes for a very reasonable price. We spent 10 days at the Puri Dajuma and still found a lot of meals on the menu which we hadn't tried. The dining area in the garden right at the sea is just one of the highlights. This is a place to relax, albeit if you are up to some activities, the hotel offers various tours that you can book. We booked two and the tour guides gave us a lot of insight into local life and customs. The only downside is the distance to Denpassar airport, but the resort offers a free shuttle service if you stay 7 nights or more.

About the distance from the airport, it is true that it takes 2:30, not because of the distance but because of the traffic jam in the south of the island. We came here after a stay in Ubud and the peace of the beautiful tropical hotel gardens and wide open beach was a perfect contrast to the city bustle. Our room (Shanthi C) was like a hobbit hole draped in tropical trailing flowers. The bathroom was outdoors so you could shower looking at the palm trees or stars! The food was really good and the service exceptional. The staff were unfailingly friendly and so helpful. The swimming pool/river was incredible. Highly recommended.

We went to Puri Dajuma already in 2011 with our daughters and now came back as a couple, stayed in the newer part, room SokaC. The beach still remained unspoilt and quiet and the resort got an upgrade with the newer part with villas and gorgeous pool. It never felt crowded, always sunbeds enough and we loved all our meals near the sea, outside the restaurant, served mostly by the friendly Eddy. The villa itself was great, we got comfortable twin mattresses on request, enough lovely purple towels every day, the whole villa and outside bathroom was a dream. The food was really so delicious, enjoyed the Balinese rijsttafel. The sunset was gorgeous! Thanks so much, we will come back again, and will not wait so long like this time!

I stayed in this hotel for one night only during my roundtrip in Bali. Upon arrival I was upgraded into an ocean view room, however you could not really see it from my room. I did walk to the beach, which was not very nice, dirty on one side and rocky with the tide far out on the other side. As I arrived late afternoon, I did not check out the pool area. My room was large, the bed comfortable and it had a big mosquito net. All 3 windows were overlooked, so you had to put the blinds down, which did not cover everything but made the room dark. What was not for me was the, albeit very nice, outdoor bathroom. I am ok with an outside shower but not an outdoor toilet and sink area. Especially when it borders directly onto the outside bathroom of the adjoining room. You can hear everything which is uncomfortable. I also have a fear of spiders and the thought of going to the toilet in the middle of the night outside in the pitch black was very scary. Also, if you get ready outside in the dusk or dawn and turn on the light, you get eaten alive by mosquitos. So I tried to spend as little time in the outdoor bathroom as possible and moved all my toiletries inside. I also ad a lot of ants in the room and the floor was rather dirty. I had dinner at the restaurant, which was very tasty and the service was quick and friendly. Breakfast was a la carte and good, but nothing special. Service was really nice.

We are coming back again to this amazing resort in Pekutatan, West Bali. Annabelle (UK) are Gene (New Zealand) my guests right now.
As usual, our trip in Java Island for Bromo and Kawah Ijen are so exhausted. That is why we need a relax place like Puri Dajuma Resort. Last day in Java, we take the coffee plantation tour and then I send a message to Bli I Putu Gede Hendra Ardiana to prepare a special cuisine for them, Balinese Rijsttafel.
My request a little bit different. I want Sate Lilit (Balinese Authentic Satay) for Anna and Gene. We get special greeting from Bli Juliartha and friends (Bli Erik and Bli Deddy).
Bli Juliartha as a leader of the team really really give his best for us. Anna and Gene are so happy with the cuisine. They never expected a Lux cuisine like this. Never try the presentation like this. This cuisine is something new for them.
Meanwhile, my driver and I got special beverage before meals, Balinese Rose Wine from Bli Juliartha. So, thank you so much for the team of Puri Dajuma for all of this.

An absolutely magic place. We have been going to Medewi area for years but had not stayed here before. We will certainly be staying here again next time. The grounds of the resort are beautiful, We stayed in one of the Bendega villas at the top of the resort, an area providing brilliant ocean views, looking back towards Medewi. The villa itself was top class, feonting a 'lazy river' type pool great for morning lap swim and afternoon lazing. There was a wide variety of good food options available at beachfront restaurant, along with some really nice cocktails. The staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful, special shout out to Edi My only small complaint was that, as my wife likes to sleep with thd airconditioning up high, I needed more than one topsheet to keep me warm. But, I should have asked for extra blanket,sure it would have been no problem. Overall, a brilliant retreat from the busyness of the world and much of the rest of Bali. We are already looking forward to a slightly longer stay next year.

We had three nights in Puri Dajuma and we enjoyed ourselves very much. We stayed in Soka A which overlooks the pool and the sea beyond. The room was very comfortable and the outdoor bathroom was fun! We spent most of our time in the resort and between us joined the daily yoga class, had a massage and a spa treatment. We took a lift for Medewi for lunch but were happy to return to our resort. We ate in the restaurant every night and we enjoyed the food and drinks which were reasonably priced. We very much hope to return to Puri Dajuma for a longer stay- highly recommended.

A really beautiful complex in the west of Bali, right by the sea. The bungalows are beautifully furnished, there is an outdoor bathroom, even with a bathtub and beautiful plants. The complex is lovingly maintained, the whole team is very warm and helpful. Super good yoga class in the morning with a view of the sea. The massages are also highly recommended. Excursions with your own driver can be booked directly on site. The food is amazing, everything was freshly prepared. We were able to enjoy the typical Balinese cuisine, with a view of the sea. 4A and 4B are good for you. Away from pool, no steps. You'll need an extra bed in there though but the room is quite big so should be plenty of space in there for you.

Hiring a taxi and driver is easy, 650000 to 750000 irp/ day cash only. Half a day half the price. The cottages are superb and food in the restaurants also. Enjoy the sunset in pool with 2 for one happy hour cocktails. If you email me I can give you details of the taxi group we used.
