We have a fully-equipped coastal cottage called the Barn with spectacular mountain views. A short walk takes you through the neighbouring property to a secluded beach. Children are welcome and will enjoy the country experience of our farmyard animals. Close to all local Tasman activities such as biking, walking, kayaking. Quality restaurants and vineyards a short drive away.

After 2 days camping in Abel Tasman National Park, we were excited for a hot shower and a comfy bed. The beds and bath were both very dated, but did the trick. There was a large bunk-style room upstairs and a queen room downstairs. They kitchen was a bit crampt, but for 2 days it was fine.
The views were spectacular and reminded me to Tuscany. Great location for wine touring, beaches and shopping. Nicely tucked off the beaten path. The hosts were friendly, albeit particular. One of the rentals at this location has access to the pool, which would have made the kids very happy. Perhaps next time.
Be sure to visit the Jester House to feed the eels (really interesting!), and the coffee at The Tasman Store is first rate.

We loved staying here and would go back at the drop of a hat! Everything you could possibly need was in the cottage and the view is to die for! It was so private and yet handy to drive to places! The place was clean and tidy and well laid-out. It even had great wifi we weren't expecting. What a beautiful place and wonderful hosts too.
