The hotel is private and kinda far from the city. The staff are very friendly and courteous except for the supervisor on duty. The ocean is rocky and you need aqua shoes to swim at the beach. There are no establishments near the area and the price is kinda expensive. If i will come back to bohol, i will not consider this hotel.

Okay.. definitely there is a shore but it's not something you can go to and walk around.. cliffs and rocks. Now onto the rooms . The aircon is a nightmare and noisy.. it shakes up the whole room . It old and needs to be changed. Leaving food outside is a disaster with the attack from ants. The rooms are fine aside those. Breakfast is not so waking up for .. heavy breakfast though others might like it. It's not far from the main town. I stayed in the room and heard the poolside rooms are spacious and Aircon better but the price is crazy high. Staff as always are helpful, friendly and nice.

First off there is no beach, but just an ocean view. The pictures are a bit deceiving.
The resort grounds are beautiful and our room with a pool was nice. We think this place has the potential to be awesome but here is why it's not yet..

When we arrived our shower was broken and the bed sheets had not been changed!!! These are things that Shouldn't happen even in a lower end hotel but the high end prices made it even more shocking. All you want to do is have a shower and quick nap after a long day travel and we could do neither.

The rooms have a two inch gap under the doors so it's made for lots of mosquitos, cockroaches, ants and a massive spider joined us as well so be sure to zip your bags up when not using them.

The servers at the restaurants, cleaning staff and the bell boys were very friendly and great. We were though extremely disappointed when dealing with the front desk and our driver who ended up taking us to the ferry. When we checked in, they gave us the list of tours that they arrange so we booked 2. After we got back the next day from exploring, (an hour before our tour was booked for) they informed us that they no longer offered that tour. They left us hanging to figure it out on our own..having to hire a trike last minute or take their van for double the cost of what the tour and van ride was supposed to cost us. The trike ride ended up being a ride from hell and didn't take us to the tour we asked for but instead one that they made a commission on.
The lack of professionalism and customer service at this hotel was the worst we had ever seen, as they didn't offer anything to compensate for their error.

Last but not least, our driver to the ferry asked us for 600 PHP for the FREE drop off service. We said No and he quickly dropped it knowing they offer free shuttle to and from the ferry!!

This resort was very empty and in my opinion because of the negative reviews which I wish we listened to. Hopefully they start to realize that customer service will make or break them in a upcoming tourist destination and make some changes as this resort does have a lot of potential.

My partner and I enjoyed our stay in this resort and we would like to thank the staffs for the exceptional customer service provided to us, specifically to Marino in restaurant and Ms. Charles at front desk. Your suggestions help us alot to make our stay enjoyable. We suggest during flies season to provide those electric insect repellent for the restaurant and you may also consider planting citronella around the swimming pool area to lessen mosquitoes. Overall the complementary breakfast/ dinner were good but would be better to add more options / variants for those who don’t eat rice much.
Highly recommended and keep up the good work.

We stayed there 3 days during the Christmas period. It was a perfect stay, all
people was vey nice ! We had a lovely room
with pool access, it was very peaceful ! There is a restaurant where they can cook some dishes, the food was so good ! The hotel is not in the town center but easy to reach by tuk tuk or local car (15 min more or less). We really enjoyed our stay there, I recommend this place !

I wish I never booked at this hotel. I stay approx 70-90 nights a year in a hotel. Mostly due to work and I expect this to be the worst hotel I will stay at in 2023. We booked a poolside room and we're no ware near the pool. They added a 3k a day fee for my 2 year old to join us. With a non refundable room I had to pay and extra 6k for my 2 year old I couldn't leave him in the lobby for 2 days. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. We ended up leaving after one night and spent 18k for one night at this hotel in total. Even after talking to the manager we got no ware. I believe this hotel has poI believe this has policies from management that are setup to take advantage of the tourists and the local staff have no authority to take do anything about it. I felt bad for those staff caught in the middle. In summary if your on vacation don't stay at this hotel you don't need the stress.

Hi Departure681380, Thank you so much for airing your complaints. We do appreciate valued guests informing us of any grievance as we see them as opportunities to improve the standards in service and facilities we ardently wish to maintain. Please accept our sincerest apology for the P3,000.00 charge per day you mention, please understand that your reservation online is for 2 persons only. However, upon your check-in there are 2 additional extra persons (In-laws) plus 1 child (2yrs old). As explained during your check-in the P3,000.00 per day is for the 2 extra adults (1,500.00 per head per day with breakfast) and not for the child since our child policy for 5years old and below is free maximum of 2 kids without breakfast. With regards to your room Deluxe Poolside. Kindly be advise that we have 2 Deluxe Room Category. 1. Deluxe - Facing the main road 2. Deluxe Poolside - Facing our big Pool Please accept our sincere apology if you assumed that your room is beside the Pool. However displayed photos of our Deluxe Poolside Rooms in online and in our website shows that the rooms have Veranda overlooking the pool and not besides the Pool. With regards to the cancellation policy of your online agent, kindly coordinate to them but as far as Bohol Shores is concerns, cancellation on the day of arrival will be forfeited or considered as no show, please accept our sincere apology. With regards to the bed you mentioned we will definitely review but as far as the management is concern the quality of bed we provide to our guests is one of the best brands. Many of our guests give us good feedback not only in Bohol Shores also to our 3 resorts (2 in Boracay & 1 in Baguio). We deeply appreciate the patience you've extended despite the shortcomings. We also wish that you've somehow enjoyed the rest of the service and facilities we've provided in high hopes that they've in some ways defrayed the displeasures. Much obliged.

This newly opened resort has a potential to be the resort to beat in Bohol after a few tweaks in their service and facilities.

Upon arrival our little party of 5 were welcomed with cold towels, cold calamansi juice and shell leis. It was a refreshing welcome and the
kids love their leis. Upon check in, we were informed that the phone in our room is not working and to make up for it one of our meals will be on the house. We appreciate this gesture!

We were then transported to our casita via a glammed up tricycle which was very cute and again was a hit with the kids. However, we were assigned a different casita than what we had reserved. This didn't pose a problem as their front desk officer quickly had our preferred casita prepared and had it ready in no time. Our room was lovely and well appointed. We were 3 adults and we paid for an extra person but the extra person charge did not come with an extra bed. After a discussion with the front desk officer, we settled for a daybed.

Next, We had lunch at the deck overlooking the sea. We were pleasantly surprised that the food was really good! The standout dish was the shrimps in garlic butter. Simple yet so tasty.

The white sand beach looked spectacular from the deck. We had to go down a flight of stairs and walk past the rocky parts to access the beach. There are Bohol Shores staff to guide you on the beach.

We rented a car from the hotel for sight seeing. The drive was smooth and pleasant with a sprinkling of information about Bohol from our driver. Kudos to our driver!

After a long day, we opted for an in room massage. Our kids fell asleep while having their massage. The therapists were polite and accomodating but it would have been better if they were in uniforms.

The big pool was amazing. Our kids really loved swimming in the big pool as well as in the little pool at our casita.

Since our casita was located farthest from the main building, it would have helped if there are staff on standby in the area just in case the guests need something. Our room phone wasn't working so we have to go the to reception to ask for something or we would wait for a staff to pass by.

Overall, the staff was always polite and helpful. The food was consistently good.
We would definitely choose Bohol Shores again next time we are in Bohol.

Don't even consider... tey Bohol Beach Club or South Palms or Eskaya... or anything else. This is by far the worst option in the Philippines. Very inadequate manager, very dirty, completely empty and no value for money

We expected so much more. This is a beach hotel without a beach. Lazy staff. They are saying ok all the time and do nothing. The rooms are dirty. The first morning I found a cockroach over our bed. The are so many ants, like a colony inside the room, running through our luggage, clothes, even over our bed. When I made a complaint they sent a guy who gave me a spray of Ride. The rooms are never cleaned, there are no blinders on the windows so it's always day light. Worst food ever! Actually if you're not a vegan the hole island is a food disaster. If you eat only mangos and coconuts then you're ok.
And the breakfast- you have an option of some kind of cooked eggs, rice, cooked meat, and or pancakes or french toasts. No bacon, no cheese, no nothing. Everything is full with flys. The hotel is a desert place and the room service works only until 10:00 p. M. If you got hungry during the night there's no chance to eat anywhere.
We are so very disappointed. We expected to be the heaven on earth but for the price that we've paid is a nightmare!
