We stayed as they were doing the sift opening. Place is located down a short unsurfaced road from the main highway and a good 3 hours by car from bacolod.

Our room was well set out and furnished. Nice view out intonthw garden and sea beyond.

Food was nice and had some good vegetarian options.

It was a little hard to get to grips with the inclusions and exclusions on the menu, so that could be a bit clearer for every meal.

Also room wise everything was working fine but there was a bit of an assumption that maybe guests would exploit things like the shower gel, so only limited quantities were given. Same sort of approach was taken with the house rules. None or this was actually a problem so couldnl have been addressed a bit more subtly.

The best welcome we could have. We arrived weary after a long flight from England after some flight cancellations. They responded to my emails straight away and kept in excellent communication with us and arranged a long taxi drive from airport. As we arrived in torrential rain, they were there with umbrellas, welcome drinks and a smile. Rooms very exceptionally clean, service 10/10 and all staff friendly.

Amila resort, but more importantly the staff and owners absolutely have a special place in our hearts. From the first communication to the last good bye, this intimate dive resort makes you feel like family. The rooms were cozy, cool and the bed was so comfortable, sometimes hard to leave! The food was absolutely delicious and made fresh with love every meal. Often times we would chat with the owners and staff, which for us was just wonderful learning about their culture and perspectives. The diving was good, with short boat rides to the sites and good action under the water. We brought our own equipment but the gear others used was top notch. We would not hesitate to come back. Its hard to find a resort like this, where everyone goes out of their way to make your trip special. Book it already!

Beautifull location, excellent accomodation and serivce. Specially suited for travellers who enjoy a more tranquile experience. The resort is in the middle of nature, at the beach, with tremendous sunset views. Just relax at the infitiy pool or do some local activities such as scuba diving, kayaking, paddle boarding or take a tour to a nearby uninhabited island with a turtle sanctuary, batt and python caves and do local snorkling and kayanking. Absolutely recommended for a relaxed and tranquile holiday experience

During our trip to Sipalay, Negros Occidental, we had a break from our project and took the opportunity to visit a first class resort in Bulata. Amila Dive Beach Resort hit the spot. The resort is owned and operated by Tobias and Sophie, a very welcoming couple. If you are looking for a break from the normal, this is the place.

My second time at Amila Dive Beach Resort. The Resort is well maintained. We stayed again at the Superior Room and it was like the first time. Great Mattress and Pillows. The Staff is still the same friendly and always happy to help or answer questions. This time we did a Tour to Danjugan Island, i would everyone recommend to stay there for a half or full day to explore the nature. The food and cocktails at Amila are great experience and we are very happy. Try the Bulata Bomb (Gin) :-). Good WiFi a nice infinity pool and watching the sunset every day. Thats what we looked for.
This is not the last time at the resort.
