Nestled deep in the Calatagan Hills, Puesto del Sol is an exclusive resort a few minutes away from the beaches of Batangas. With lush greenery and fresh air, the resort offers its guest a return to nature feel with the most basic of modern conveniences available upon request. Rejuvinative and meditative, Puesto del Sol is a serene place under the sun.
Speechless on how breathtaking the view is. It is just so amazing and love being in here. Great to relax, perfect for private events, team building, wedding, or just a simple barbecue day with the whole family and loved ones.

Sunsets are simply beautiful and Puesto del Sol has the right spot "puesto" for you to relax and enjoy the colorful, vibrant and vast sunset. My family and I simply love their infinity pool where you can take great Instagramable pictures. The interior and architecture are tastefully designed. Every part of the resort is pleasing to the eye. The resort is on top of a hill. We used waze to easily get directions. Beaches are around 7 - 10 minutes away from the resort, but the resort itself is divine, so we opted to stay there instead. They are also pet-friendly so we were able to bring our dogs. Our casa includes breakfast. They have a restaurant, serving Filipino food. Our family had a great time! For future guests who wish to stay here, I suggest you book 2 or more nights. An overnight stay is not enough. We really fell in love with the place. Staffs are very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely come back here.…

They are very accommodating in dealing with us, very respectful and they are able to communicate with us in very professional manner. Thank You for making our stay beyond our expectation!

I chose to take my small but growing team to Puesto del Sol and it was a great decision. We loved the amazing view and the infinity pool. We were lucky to have the place for ourselves. It was so relaxing! Highly recommended.

I am from Dubai and iam student in Philippines at the moment. Me and my friends decided to look for a place in Batangas and we chose Puesto del Sol despite of some negative reviews. We are not expecting much because of this but our experience is way beyond expectation. Upon entering the resort, we're mesmerized by the amazingly panoramic view of the ocean by the pool. The infinity pool aside from the view is one of their best highlight especially during sunset. We've even met the owner and he's very accommodating and friendly. The rooms are clean and well maintained. I think I found my haven on this natural green and pretty resort. We're so lucky to choose Puesto del Sol and we hoped our two days stay never ends. I would definitely come back and recommend to my friends.

We went on this resort for our company outing on the 4th week of May 2018 and this has been one of the worst resorts that I've been. Not only the staffs are accommodating, the rooms also have very weak air conditioners. We had escalated it to the staffs but they don't even care about it. It seems that they are accustomed to the customers' complaints and they don't have any urge to fix what's wrong with their resort. Another not so good thing about this resort is that it is far from the beach, the staffs there said that it was a 5-10 minute drive and they don't even offer services to get to and from the beach. The food prices are also expensive and if you wish to bring your own food and drinks, guess what? they have expensive corkage fee also. But let's not end this review on a bad taste, I'll give them my appreciation regarding how well-maintained their place is. The place is clean, as well as the pool and the view is indeed noteworthy.…

I gave an Excellent rate for the stunning view of the resort, the facilities, and the food. Other than that it was an Average experience for us. Why? No meet and greet from the employees. Average customer service of the staff. The electricity keeps on turning on and off during night time and day time. Overall experience was okey.

We are just about to leave the resort now and my comments can’t wait any longer. 1. POOL/VIEW (4/5) (+) - The highlight of the place is the infinity pool. The resort is 15mins away from Manuel Uy beach by car, the only white sand beach in Calatagan that’s why it’s great that we were able to book a resort with a pool. (+) - The view is stunning. Facing WEST which will give you an extraordinary sunset. (-) - I’m not sure when was the last time they replaced the water in the pool since it looks quite dirty already. 2. AMBIENCE (4/5) (+) - We were really able to relax since the resort is secluded. It was really quiet and serene. And due to the fact that the place is elevated and uphill, the weather is quite colder compared to the beach front resorts. 3. ROOMS (2/5) (+) - Spacious (-) - No bed frames. They only provided a 3inch thick mattress! Thank God, they left the stockroom open, we were able to stash additional mattresses that we piled up under the mattress that they initially provided, or else we ended up with back aches the next day. 4. TOILET AND BATH (1.5/5) (-) - FOUL ODOR everytime we use the sink, the toilet and the shower. Never leave the Bathroom Door open because you will not tolerate the smell. Water pressure is low. Tsk tsk tsk 5. CLEANLINESS (3/5) 6. FRONT DESK (3/5) (+) - The receptionist when we arrived was very accommodating and kind. (-) - But I believe they should be consistent, knowledgeable and presentable. Never assign a frontdesk officer who does not have any idea of the resorts’ room availability. There were a few walk ins asking for room availability and the one assigned at the front desk can’t answer the guests’ inquiries on the spot. 7. FOOD (2/5) (+) - Delicious (-) - Too little serving and super OVERPRICED. This is what disappointed me most. The serving of a small plate VEGETABLE would cost you 350pesos! I understand that they are targeting high end guests. But the pricing versus the serving was really UNREASONABLE. (-) - You have to order at least 2hours prior to lunch/dinner or else you will end up eating late lunch and dinner at 10pm. Lol (-) - And 10% service charge??? Seriously?!?!? (-) - We paid ₱7,000+++ for the following food we ordered: - 1 fried tilapia - 2 daing na bangus - 2 order paksiw na bangus - 1 order chopsuey - 1 order sisig - 2 order tuna pasta - 1 order pansit bihon - 3 orders adobo - 1 order tinola - 1 ordet lechon kawali - 36 cups of rice Imagine. Just imagine. Lunch for 6pax would cost you ₱3,000+++ PLEASE SEE PHOTOS (Official Receipt) Oh and by the way, if you plan on bringing/cooking your own food. The corkage for EACH PERSON is ₱250 PER DAY. 8. EXTRA CHARGES (1/5) (-) - Normally, a hotel like accommodation like this would provide towels and blankets for the number of guests you entered upon booking. It was also indicated in their website/page that toiletries and towels are included. That’s why we were shocked when we were charged an additional ₱150 for each towel we requested!!! 9. OVER ALL (2/5) - If the owner or resort admin happens to read this, please do something about your pricing. We understand that you are catering upper class guests. And we are more than willing to pay that much price for food/services/facilities ONLY IF that would compensate and satisfy our needs as guests. …
