Cocoons are large refurbished concrete pipes designed for intimate stays. The experience engages guests to commune with nature and with each other with instagrammable open spaces. All rooms are outfitted with a queen bed, efficient space saving storage, coffee and tea amenities, TV, mini bar and safety deposit box. Bathhouses are available for use by all Cocoons guests and are located adjacent from each Cocoon cluster. Staff were gracious upon our arrival. Minor unforeseen hiccups were immediately dealt with. Although it was raining that evening of our stay, their staff were able to clean the place very early the next day hence we were able to enjoy everything the place had to offer.

Stayed in one of their cocoons last Januay 7-9 and absolutely loved the experience, ang ganda ng place, tahimik makakapag relax ka talaga. The cocoons have AC with mini ref and can generally fit 2-3 persons, napakalinis din ng mga rooms nila. It is also close to the beach area, may mga golf cart din kung ayaw mo maglakad ng maglakad and very spacious and clean CR/shower rooms every hour may nag bibista para tingnan ang cr. Other room types are available for bigger number of guests crusoe cabins. This place is perfect for couples, friends or even the whole family, baka sabihin nyo mag-extend pa kayo. Definetly worth the visit and price for services/accommodation. Staff are amazing and napakabait nila sa mga guest talaga every morning tatanungin ka nila kung ano mga kailangan mo at kakamustahin ka. 💯💯💯

Good for solo and couples. Nice , clean and swimmable beach on both low and high tides. Infinity pool is picturesque. Food in main hall is soso and at the expensive side Food at the beach side restaurant is awful. There is NO smoking grill. The barbecue and steak looks liked microwaved and pasted with artificial sauce. Of course the meat will be awfully dry. Shower rooms a clean strong streaming hot water. Staff are helpful and steadfast. Our Aircon bugged down at 8 o'clock in the evening and they replaced it immediately. Patrons are decently dressed and behaved. Ample parking just outside the entrance meaning NO long and uphill walks. The location is not so far from town. Overall value for money.

I like the idea of the cocoon and the amenities are great. The beach and the resort provided a serene atmosphere. However, the food at the restaurants are a bit pricey but there are cheaper at the food trucks. The public restrooms are also infested by mosquitoes but there is an individual restroom, which, unfortunately I only knew of belatedly.

Cocoons is very budget friendly. Staff are very polite and ask what you may need when they see you. If your accommodation is far from the reception and parking they provide golf carts. The entire resort is huge, its a good place to walk, eat and swim. The beach is calm (we came in June) and the pool has different heights so everyone could enjoy it. We would come back again soon.

It was a unique experience staying in a culvert turned room/ accommodation good for 2 people. Great use of space and amenities and the lighting was good for relaxing and for the senses.
As I've mentioned in one of the roving staffs in the resort, they could have placed a rubber lining around the aircon so no space, air and light can be seen / escape from the room and vice-versa. And my side of the bed, beside the wall was a bit dusty. Cleaning crew might not have noticed it.
Otherwise, everything is OK with the room and our stay. Not ideal for long term tho coz the space was really small and nothing much to do inside the room.

One of our unforgettable stays in the south. Cocoons or Casobe in general should be commended for having such professional and attentive personnel: from security, receptionists, lifeguards, food servers, housekeepers, they never fail to smile with warm greetings.
Comfortable mattress, complete hygiene kit, water heater with coffee condiments and free breakfast.

The AC is fluctuating. The mini ref is not working at all. The line is always busy for assistance. We asked for an extension until 1PM for checkout but the frontline didn’t allow us only to find out we’ll be stuck waiting checking out in the lobby. Service to customers should be prioritized not solely for business and money. The front service needs improvement.

Second time here but had the same exciting feeling. Staff were accommodating; they consistently asked if we need anything, and if our day was ok. Shai (staff in charge of the golf cart) and the waiter from The Sands' restaurant (sorry, forgot his name) were both very friendly. Whole resort was clean. The beach has always been amazing. Casobe is our favorite resort in Calatagan, and will always look forward going back.

We had our second family stay at this resort, and the experience was great. All facilities and amenities are properly maintained and clean, and my baby enjoyed the food, the beach, the pool, and the playground. The staff are hospitable and always offer the best that they have. It is the best family getaway destination.
