One good place to camp with family. Really had a great family bonding. The beach is kid friendly, no worries especially at low tide, lifeguards on alert. Staffs are accomodating and corteous, even at night you'll feel secured with their staffs roving around. Clean restrooms, common grilling and washing area.
You just need to bring evrything as there are no stores nearby, public market is about 10 minutes drive though. But if you have time do pass by the public market as their prices are really fair, bought some tilapias and squids plus some tomatoes and onions.
Definitely will be back. Thanks.

Experience on the beach is quite good. Don't forget to bring your necessities and a tent because renting one is expensive. You can rent a little boat for you and your family to enjoy. We did avail a guide to tour the islands, but this is outside the scope of the this place.

Went here with my co-workers on Friday night after our work. We arrive at dawn which is perfect to see the sunrise but was not really fascinated to see the low tide around 6am-11am since it is a long walk to get to the deep part water and lots of broken sharp shells and dead corals (better wear slippers).

We also paid 250/head (overnight) 150/head day tour (for some of my colleague), 200 php for pitching a tent ( which I found too expensive. I suggest that they should give a smaller amount to pay for pitching a tent) parking fee for a car which cost 100 php then 20 php for motorcycle and 30 php for the environmental fee, (hope you cleaned the shore using the environmental fee because there's lots of seaweeds and some trash in there).

High tide starts around 12pm and we started to have our lunch under the tree (which is great) then started to swim. Water is a bit warm in the afternoon but gets real cold at night. THEY DID A GREAT JOB FOR THE COMFORT ROOM THO!!! It was clean and organize.

Spend the rest of the night drinking with amazing people under the stars, hearing the waves and singing. (no corkage fee here folks! cheers to that!) they have kawali for rent, a store (which charge double), a grilling station (for free) and a charging station that cost 50php till your battery is full.

Lastly, we took pictures in the morning before we left at the amazing rock formation (Instagramable!).

Over all, we did enjoy the beach and we will surely comeback! :)

We visited Manuel Uy Beach twice in a month😅, both daytour. We enjoy the scenery, the sand and the water though you need to walk abit long to be able to swim because the sea is very low tide. But what fascinate me is that my 2-yr old daughter really enjoyed the beach with his cousin.

The beach was very pleasant, it was beautiful and clean. Breakfast was excellent and incredibly varied. The staff has always been friendly, patient and helpful but please add more water activities other than snorkeling.

Well maintained and organized. Clean and preserved. Nature lovers will surely appreciate the place! for those who want to enjoy a day tour or overnight camping, this is the perfect place to visit!

Tent for Rent costs - Php 500 (good for 4pax)
Table and a long bench - Php 250
Entrance - Php 250 + 30 (environmental fee)
No corkage fee for food brought in the resort - make sure to dispose trash in the proper areas.
They have a facility for grilling, shower cubicles, dressing room cubicles and toilet area.

Make sure to bring your aqua shoes to protect your feet, during low tide - its going to be a "short" walk to the waist high level of sea water.

This one of the best beaches my Family have been to. Its not a 5 star resort but if you want a good swim and you have a tight budget this the best. The water is clean and clear, and they have showers and dressing rooms which are all clean and well maintained. Guess' can also stay overnight in their own tents.

The good thing about this beach is well organised and maintained by the management but still need a lot of improvements (crowd management)

The beach has a shower room and cooking area which is one of the pros and the good thing is they have a garbage bin in each area.

The only one problem is the beach itself. I know some of you will tell me why, I’m not a fan of a rocky beach and some seaweed compare to the other beach in calatagan like burot beach.

Calatagan used to be a quiet place for solitude and secluded weekend getaway. It is now popular to budget travelers who wants to enjoy the scenery. Entrance fee is charged at Php150 for day tour and Php250 for an overnight stay. Parking and tent is paid separately. The site is filled with tents and there is common shower area. Grilling area is available. Food can also be purchased in nearby hole-in-the-wall affordable stalls. Tide is usually low and not the most ideal spot for a swim.

I consider the Manuel Uy Beach as one of the treasures of Batangas. With minimal fee (P100 for entrance) you would enjoy quite peaceful and clean water. Water is shallow which makes it friendly to family with children. Though haven't tried yet, you can stay overnight using tent (P200 entrance for overnight stay). It is also facing west so you can experience sunset. Some showers were not functioning so I'm not giving 5 stars yet.
