One of the best Christmas vacation we had for years. The 3 hour drive is worth it. The Cabins are excellent. Service is superior and for me one of the best. Thanks to the whole Crusoe Staff for making our family vacation worthwhile. See you again soon!

We got the beachfront cabin on a stormy weekend. We booked this resort because it is pet friendly. They charge 1500/pet. Max of 2 dogs per cabin. It is expensive if you add the room rates and pet fees. We were dreaming of spending time at the beach with the our dogs and to experience a bit of luxury for the adults to have a comfortable vacation. So we were more than willing to pay extra. During our stay, we were worried wasting our reservation due to the bad weather but we were able to salvage it. The property has a lot to offer. Netflix-ready TV, bike, good restaurants which close late night, and the water park. We did have fun and got to do a lot of things despite the strong winds and heavy downpour. When we realized that we were missing a set of pillow and blanket almost midnight, the staff was able to deliver it dry in the middle of the rain! The following morning, another staff went in and checked on us if there's anything we need. We asked for additional towels and floor mat and they were able to provide it without any reluctance. Plus points on the personalize service! Room is clean and smells good. While it can comfortably accommodate a group of 5, the layout is not conducive for a group gathering. The living room has a sofa that can only seat 2 while the kitchenette has 2 high stools which makes bonding time a bit awkward. But the room has good sound proofing. We were able to sleep on the comfortable beds not hearing the rain and strong waves outside. Also no power interruption even with the typhoon-level rain and wind gust. The water park is small but it's there if you want some pool time. The beach is shallow and low tide drains out all of the water. You need to check the tide schedule. Beach was empty with water at the time of our check in and it was only at late afternoon and the following morning when the tide came in. Something you might want to consider if beach is a priority when booking this property. Food was surprisingly okay. Price was just right. We liked Capt Barbozza better than the Sands restaurant. We had a great time with our furbabies. Plenty of spaces to roam around and the restaurants were also pet friendly. And the beach is perfect for the dogs as it is shallow for most part. Something to improve on: 1. Separate beach and bath towels. While you can request for additional towels, certainly makes a difference if it’s already provided without asking. 2. Game room for board games and video games during rainy days. 3. Room rate - Beachfront room will already cost you a room in Shangrila or the Henanns + airfare. Actually, all the nice resorts in Batangas have price points on the high end. Makes you wonder if a Boracay trip is more reasonable. 4. Since the beach is not 100% available all the time with the low tide situation, it will make more sense to offer more water actvities e.g. paddle board, kayaks, water bikes so the resort can off-set this and make the beach experience more rewarding and memorable. Something to entice guests to return and for them not to end up wanting the other beaches in Batangas. 5. Beach beds by the shore. It will be nice if you can lounge on the beach having a fruit shake or cocktail. Playa Calatagan has this set up on their beachfront. This will be a nice selling point (and to justify the premium rates) for Crusoe and Cocoons. 6. While we did enjoy the foods at Captain Barbozza during dinner, the breakfast offering was disappointing. The French toast (1 sliced bread, cut into half) and pancake (2 small pieces) set menu was not filling. Overall, we had a nice stay. Perhaps, the best pet friendly resort in Batangas. Staff was amazing and well-trained and the property has good potential. What’s only stopping me from recommending this place to family and friends is the price.

We would not recommend a stay to others based on our experience. Our “Sea View” room faced directly at the side of Captain Barbozza’s restaurant so I felt very deceived by the room description from the beginning. It is an obstructed, partial view of the ocean at best and not a view at all if we are speaking honestly. The two restaurants at the resort (Captain Barbozza’s and The Sands) have only open air seating so by day we were swarmed by flies and by night fed on by mosquitoes while attempting to dine. They do provide room service so you can dine in your cabin, that’s if you can get through to the restaurant on the phone which was perpetually a busy signal for most of our stay. Most disappointing was that for a resort that does not allow resort guests to bring in food from the outside, we thought the restaurants would serve better food and be well prepared yet every day multiple items listed on the menu were not available and not just seasonal items like fruits but basic Filipino staples like Filipino bbq for instance. Wifi is available throughout the resort but there is an incredibly inconvenient system of having to login with a different password every 7 hours per device and passwords are handed out upon request by the front desk on little slips of paper, some where the the last few digits are cut off by sloppy scissors work? Crazy. The pool facilities shut down for maintenance during our stay and then only partially reopened with some things working and others not working. The staff were friendly and attentive but many times things we asked were not provided correctly the first time as if they hadn’t really listened to the request at all which became frustrating over time as it repeatedly occurred. It is unfortunate because the resort has potential but for us, a group of 5 adults and one 9 year old child that included 2 seniors in their 80s, it was neither comfortable or enjoyable and mostly a frustrating experience.

Came out with friends, It was a few cabin in a 1 big resort with different booking hotels” The pool is the same as AQUARIA, same beach is within this area. The pool is not fully functional (during the time we went) its only until 8pm The bar area is until 10-11pm only, making it so quiet. There is a life guard available at night even its only 5ft pool that is open til 8pm. The rooms are fully clean organized, with complete toiletries, but the rooms are vertical in length, making it so feel small inside. The dont have phones to call the fron desk, they just give number to call incase you will need anything. Not allowed to bring food from outside except chips and drinks. The breakfast is a set menu with drinks. Overall stay is good. Yes it’s quite pricey, we didnt enjoy much due to hot weather and at night time is quite bit quiet and too dark in the beach front.

Our primary criterion in looking for a place to spend our 2-day-1-night trip was that it should be pet friendly. This was one of the top results for us in Agoda and, because it was recommended by a family member, we decided to push through with this booking despite the 3-hour trip. Upon our arrival, it is not hard to recognize the natural friendliness of the staff. It is one thing to book a stay and avail all the promised amenities, but it is another thing to be truly welcomed for the entire stay. During breakfast, one staff stopped by our cabin to simply ask how we are and if we needed anything. We didn't even call him for assistance, yet he warmly greeted us simply because our cabin just happened to be on his way. Hungry from the 3-hour trip to get there, we walked around to look for restaurants and food stalls. For all the meals we had in the duration of our stay, never did we finish our meals unsatisfied. Some of the meals that were advertised as good for 2 people appeared good for 3-4; the serving size was that plentiful. When hanging out by the beach, some sellers of accessories, fish products, etc. passed by. They aren't really authorized sellers of Crusoe Cabins. However, we ended up buying taho and some dried fish, but some can be a little too insisting even if we weren't interested. Thankfully, the security officer assigned in the area assisted us and informed us that these sellers aren't authorized by Crusoe Cabins. I can only cite a few minor concerns. First, the seagrass can be annoying for some. There are information boards nearby that explained the importance of these. However, it might not be as noticeable as intended for most of the guests. Upon scouring the internet, a quick search would tell you that CEO Erickson Y. Manzano prioritizes measures of Millennial Resorts "to reduce our ecological footprint" by demonstrating "leadership and advocacy in green hospitality." This advocacy would've been nice to share with everyone who books here. Second, a relatively minor concern, the wash area in front of the cabins is not made equally for all. Cabin 9, where we stayed at, had a shallow jar of water and tall, narrow bamboo dipper. This can be inconvenient when scooping the little remaining water. Cabin 10, on the other hand, had a deeper jar with the same dipper. Albeit these concerns, I personally would like to come back next time. There are multiple pros to this place that are just too many to mention. To quickly enumerate, we love everything our cabin offered us. The space might look small from the outside but the use of space once inside was well thought of. We immediately dozed off once we settled on the comfy beds. Picking up and dropping off were a breeze via the golfcart services offered by the place. I think the complimentary welcome ice cream was our favorite! I have another bigger dog that I know would love to explore the place. We look forward to hopefully come back in the near future.

First of all thank you to the resort mngr.Sir Lito M for the swift assistance on our last minute booking. Thank you so much for accomodating us. Me and my family had a fun-filled weekend during our stay in Crusoe Cabin. There are just so much more to like about this place: -The place is big and spacious. -Cabins are well cleaned and disinfected. It even has a safety seal on the door so you know the place has been cleaned and disinfected prior entering. -Bed mattresses and pillows were all soft and of hotel high quality -The cabin amenities are fully- equipped. I like that it has 1 queen bed and 1 bunk bed perfect for a family w/kids like us. -Complimentary bike you can use to roam around the area if you expect a complimentary drink sorry none but what you will get per cabin is (1) free Carmens best pint ice cream choice of your flavor (😋) oh db ito tlga for me pinaka nagustuhan ko jan sa stay nmin e.😄 -Well maintained facilities and clean beach front -Beach side was so peaceful you can just sit and lounge while sipping your iced cold drink at the bar by the beach -Kids love the kiddie pools and the playground -They have food stalls near front of the beach for quick snack and Taza Mia Cafe for coffee break -Watching sunset by the beach was also nice here🌅 -We also love the food in the in-house Pirate resto. -All staffs were very friendly and accomodating. Over-all we had a great fun experience staying at Crusoe Cabin in Casobe. Ideal for family getaways. Our daughter enjoyed her pre-bday celebration because of these. Thank you. So yeah worth coming back! 😊👍

Loved the 3D2N stay in Crusoe Cabin last April 2022. We highly appreciate accommodating staff, a calm beach, and sumptuous food in the restaurants. On the negative side, the bed foam on bunk beds are a little bit overused already, we suggest that they should replace it with new one.
