Loved the 3D2N stay in Crusoe Cabin last April 2022. We highly appreciate accommodating staff, a calm beach, and sumptuous food in the restaurants. On the negative side, the bed foam on bunk beds are a little bit overused already, we suggest that they should replace it with new one.
Since the place is quite new it is evident that the place is worth to try, my family stayed for two night’s, everything went well from the moment we step in to the resort, place is huge but more staff are needed to attend the needs of the guest specially in the peak season. Food is ok but they can add more variety of foods in the menu, beach is not that impressive, but i can do the job.
Went here to celebrate our 22nd wedding annivery and celebrate my 3 kids birth month. Our family love to walk, stay and swim in the beach and we noticed there’s a lot of seagrass. Staff are friendly, swimming pools are great and the place is definitely fb/Instagram picture worthy.
We arrived approximately 1245pm. Checking in was fast and we were told to wait at any cabana inside the resort and wait for their call. Inside there were quite a number of people and only 1 cabana was left where it is not sunny. we waited there until 2pm, until a family came and told us to move because they rented the cabana. we were bumped off and left no where to stay. The admin should have a designated place to stay for checked in guests. 2nd incident, the aircon of our room was not working. i have to wait for the maintenance to finish before i can leave our cabin. Good thing Mr Onie was there who diligently and patiently attended to our room AC. If he was not there i would have lost my temper. however because i waited for them to finish, around 530pm when i went to the slide, it was already closed. The pool that was only open was quite small and since there was plenty of guest we were like a sardine in the pool. If you are expecting a lot of guests the admin should have placed at least 2 life guards so that at least 2 pools can be used by the guests, cmon we paid a lot just to be in your resort..3rd incident there are no on duty lifeguards on the beach. in the meantime lifeguards on the pool area are sitting down on one of the cabanas, some where even shouting with other lifeguards stating" pre samahan kita sa pagbantay dyan kawawa ka naman" saying it while laughing because there was a lady wearing 2 pc bikini in the pool, it was a big turn off for me. They were also not conscious of the time, it was already 9am and they were still drinking coffee under the slide . Guests were already climbing the slide, good thing 1 lifeguard saw them and stopped them, they were about to slide. 4th incident, they are not cleaning the pool everyday, they just removed leaves and insects.. 5th incident, which is the last straw, the lady staff of sands resto, the one taking the order last may 27,7am , she totally ignored me. I waited patiently in line for my turn, but she ignored me, didnt look me in the eye as if she was avoiding me, there were only 2 tables occupied and 1 in front of me, but she took time looking around and even answered the phone first before taking my order, actually it is the assistant male that i called to take my order. i was standing there patiently in front of her for 3-5 min waiting for her to look at me and take my order. but no one asked me what do i need. they even talked to the one of staff who came and talked about he was pulled out and ask to cone early because one of the staff cannot make it. they were talking right in front of me. i just kept my cool. But cmon you need to retrain your staffs. This is the first time i have been to a place that is being managed like this. The beach is nice, the cabin is unique but a little bit rundown , the staff are terrible( except for sir onie). Not coming back ever and i will bring my 15k per night elsewhere.…
Not a place for peace and quiet. Management allows parties, loud noise, and smoking. Beer is not kept cold and is instead served with ice. They run jetskis and banana boats close to shore and swimmers.
-check in was hassle free -friendly staff upon checking in -cozy and clean place and rooms -beachfront villas -no telephone in rooms -we tried calling (more than 10x) the phone number stated in the room but no one answered -we experienced brownout for about 2-3 hours and we didn’t even heard an apology from any of the staff -we couldn’t eat and relax properly during brownout -bathroom sink was leaking
Our stay at the Crusoe Cabins was one of the best so far during this pandemic. Thanks to the Reservations Team lead by Rem and of course to Catherine, who both took our inqueries and requests smoothly since we are bringing our 2 small kids. The resort gave us everything what we wanted and wished for. Tip: get the Beachfront Cabin 1. It was our wedding anniversary also so we had our private dinner by the beach and our cabin which Rib Shack took good care of everything - planning, set up and great food. (Must order their chori burger and ribs). The other restaurant also had great service and food esp the sinigang na baboy which our kids loved. We had all our food brought to the cabin which was no problem. We had an amazing bonfire and walk to the enitre resort. Kids loved the stay and service so thats the most impt thing. We surely will comeback.…
The Location is great and the cabins are perfect specially to those who want their rooms on their own. The Food is superb and the price is just right but the food selections is limited. What’s lacking is the customer service. It has been inconsistent through out our stay, from booking to checkin to checkout. We know you have strict checkin hours, the front page shows 2pm, the next pages shows 3pm. We arrived like 1pm, and followed up like 2pm if we can checkin early since we have a child with special needs with us. But we were able to enter the room like 2:45pm, 15mins prior to schedule checkin. Saw alot of rooms unoccupied, I don’t know what’s stopping them to let customers in IF the rooms are already ready. Same thing happened durint our first visit. Also had a SPECIAL REQUEST for addtl pax and I understand that the hotel is also strict in room capacity as mandated by LGU, I asked if there are other rooms avail - no reply received. Ask for advance qr codes for registration - No reply received. My son really loved it here but ang hassle din kausap…
My family had a blast in Crusoe Cabins and Aquaria Waterpark! Room We stayed at a garden room since it was the only one available at that time. I think it can fit 6 people but due to Covid restrictions they only allow 3 people per room. The room was clean and has all the basic amenities. The only con is the metal bed bunks that keeps on creaking everytime you move and the foam on the metal bed bunks on cabin 9 is already sagging in the middle. Amenities Its not a big waterpark but we enjoyed the giant slide and the many pools. The cabanas are also nice. The beach is clean but a bit rocky so bring aqua shoes. Beach water is not deep so very child friendly. Food There are 2 restaurants and 1 cafe. We haven't tried the cafe. The Sands, their Filipono restaurant was okay, not too bad and affordable unlike other hotel food prices. We love Rib Shack, the ribs and the carbonara are delicious! Breakfast is basic Pinoy breakfast. Service Service is the best! Everyone are friendly and approachable. Everybody's all smiles. We especially commend the staff at The Sands and Rib Shack! They are the best! We will definitely be coming back!…
The rooms are perfect, exactly are shown in the pictures. All of them have a very spacious terrace where you can chill and relax. The beach is very nice, except when there is low tide. Wifi is superb, it is super fast and covers all areas. The called "water park" is just 1 slide, so after a few hours, there is nothing else to do. But the point to improve is the food; it is pricey, portions are scarce, almost only available is comfort Filipino food, the serving time is usually more than 30 mins, they usually serve the food in carton containers, and if you are going to use room service, they will give you disposable cutlery. All beer is canned, only brand available is San Miguel and 2 options of wine. By the way, all shakes, juices, etc are coming in single use plastic (glass and straw) which is something that should be avoided since the ocean is so close.…
