We stayed at Mimosas Suites for 11 nights in December during our golf vacation in Andalusia. This is a complex of apartments with a pool and 24 hour security. We got a large penthouse with a huge terasse. Lot of space, including 3 bathrooms. A big open kitchen too even though poorly supplied with what you need for self catering. Heating is by air conditioning which can be a bit noisy if you leave it on during the night. In spite of a big place, there is only one bin in the apartment and, strangely enaugh (it is a luxury complex), I was told to put the domestic trash outside the complex in a big bin on the street. The apartment came with a parking place in the underground parking and this was very useful and easy to use (easy acces to and from the apartment). The complex has also a beautiful garden. It would have been great to have a sea view from the terasse but this is not possible because is a second line condominium. It takes however 3 minutes on foot to reach the beautiful paseo which leads you to Puerto Banus (2 km walking) or Marbella downtown (9 km walking). All in all, a good choice for nice beaches too.

Apartment and pool area was ok. A rude lady round the pool who owns an apartment there, started shouting at me and my friend for no apparent reason, saying that we wasn’t allowed to eat around the pool which was fine because we wasn’t anyway, whilst she sat there eating crisps and nuts. She then proceeded to call security. I then saw security mentioned what had happened and they said that she does this all the time and is completely nuts. She accused me and my friend of talking about her around the pool, when we’ve never seen her before in our lives and had only got there that day.

Just come back after 4 night break, had a fabulous time and the apartment was lovely. Not sure if you should be booking for party breaks though. Although we weren’t noisy, security are miserable. Sat in balcony having a few drinks and were told to keep noise down. The apartment lovely and very spacious, slept 4 with 3 bathrooms. No instructions though how to use air con and instructions not clear re bins. No front desk and no lighting in the lobby area. On arrival 21.30hr we were met by a gent, charged €65 for late checkin and wanted cash, was not aware of this and thought it was wrong. No guided tour and gas flickering spot lights for the 4 days we were there. I would go back but just not sure it’s for groups and like I said all security staff were very rude and extremely miserable.

I have just returned from a 4 night stay with 6 of my friends. We had a 4 bed apartment and I must say the apartment was lovely and spacious. We all had enough wardrobe and bathroom space and a lovely balcony that we ate breakfast on and dinner some evenings too. Only downside to the rooms was only 1 had a mirror in the room, but what made up for this was a huge mirror in the dining area. It's literally a 15 minute easy walk to the harbour and handy for me and my friends as it was easy for us to get to places like ocean and plaza beach that we had booked. The reason i'm giving this accommodation 3 stars is because we felt let down by the security and the apartment owner I believe he was, or one of the owners or a manager. This complex has no front desk so we were confused as to how we would check in. Two of my friends emailed multiple times and received no reply which was concerning and when i tried to call them 48 and 24 hours before we arrived the line rang once, went to a Spanish automated message and then hung up. Eventually one of my friends received a reply and we arranged to check in at 1. A nice gentleman met us and took us up to our apartment. As our flight home wasn't until 8:45pm and check out was at 12pm, we asked if we could have a late check out if possible and if we could leave our cases. The gentleman kindly arranged for a 2pm check out and said we would be able to store our cases somewhere until we were picked up later that evening, however when it came to us checking out, security refused to take our cases and wouldn't contact the gentleman for us as he 'was only security' and when we tried to call the gentleman's number he left us he would not answer. Luckily a hotel round the corner allowed us to leave our cases there! The security weren't particularly polite and when myself and my friends returned home after night outs they made us feel very comfortable by standing arms folded staring at us until we were out of their sight. We all smiled and said hello every time we saw them but it was ever reciprocated. On our first evening we were out on our balcony before going out and to be honest we didn't realise we were talking loudly so will accept being asked to be quiet but we did not appreciate being submitted to aggressive banging on our door and our doorbell being buzzed repeatedly which scared us all and then being shouted at by security like we had been out on our balcony screaming and shouting for until the early hours. The security guard who came to our door again made us feel very intimidated and uneasy. It's a shame after reading multiple reviews about security making guests feel intimidated and uncomfortable that the owners aren't doing anything about it.

It was a good location on the Marbella coast. We had a 2 bedroom apartment and it was very nice and big. The only issue I have is the outdoor pool, you are not allowed to do anything really apart from swim, can't drink or play any music.
