Detailed Reviews
The stay was good. The service was terrific. Shout out to Jovy who was very accomodating and very helpful. She went above and beyond in making our stay very memorable, as well as the other staff. Another noteworthy employee was the female who was at the parking at wee hours checking and assisting guests and also serving breakfast with Jovy.
One thing that we did not like though was while local guests were served pineapple during breakfast, foreign guests were served mangoes with generous servings. This is not a deal breaker but we were quite envious as we also wanted mangoes.

I stayed at Hotel Formosa on my trip to explore Camarines Norte. I was happy with the newly renovated room. It was clean, and spacious. I arrived early so had to wait to check in. Lots to do in walikng distance so not a problem. Wifi was adequate. Breakfast was good and cafe was nice and cozy. I would stay here again.

Stayed here whilst visiting family in Daet. We had 2 rooms. A family room on the ground floor and a normal double on the 2nd floor.
Reception is upstairs on the 1st floor. Free coffee available here.
A paid breakfast is available.
Reception staff were very good and attentive. We were impressed by them. They answered all our questions and helped us with our bags.
The family room on the ground floor is very large, with an excellent large headed shower. The aircon was excellent. The TV had many channels. Wifi was intermittant. Sometimes we had to go to reception area to get it to work. No disturbance from other guests as away from the other rooms.
The double room was also spacious although it was an older shower which wasn't so powerful. Wifi always worked in this room.
Comforting to have 24 hour security at the front entrance. This was important. Also has a fire escape.
The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the Town Center Mall, the Terrace Grill restaurant and the aircon van terminal, so it is very convenient. We walked into the central market area in Daet in 15 minutes. The SM is about 10 minute walk.
The hotel right across the road, Vila Mila which looks a bit run down, has a swimming pool with walk in access. You pay 50 pesos per person. It is an good pool. There is wifi there also.
All in all a good, safe hotel with good clean, modern rooms with excellent staff.
My photos are from the double room only. None of family room.

Good standard but poor service.
I was so disappointed with the staff who demanded that we pay for another night because we checked out late even though we asked beforehand if it's okay to checked out late.
They should have informed us when we checked in that it was not allowed and it would cost us extra.

I stayed only pne night during a work travel. It was better than i expected. Good accomodation, reasonable price. Staff are attentive to needs of guests. Location is perfect, i took a midnight snack with nearby 7eleven and restaurants. I would recommend this one.

Hotel formosa’s place is at a perfect location in Daet. It is very easy to get around with public transportation and walking distance to town center mall, easy access to restaurants and public market. The place is great, very clean and has everything you need. Hotel staffs was also very helpful since the beginning, available at all times whenever I had any questions. Totally recommend it.💯 thank you once again hotel formosa. ❤️

Hotel Formosa is our hotel of choice in Daet, Camarines Norte, Philippines. We usually travel there twice a year, the last being just this April.
My husband, who works from time to time even while on vacation, particularly likes the good wifi connection and the relative calm in the hotel premises.
It is also close to places of interest, such as the Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity, Central Plaza Mall, and SM Hypermarket. Bagasbas Beach is a 10-minute drive away.
What we value most however is the extra-ordinary diligence and courtesy of the hotel staff. They are always available for any assistance you may need to make your stay comfortable and memorable.
We love Hotel Formosa!

Our bathroom towel railings fell offf and did not get fixed asap. The breakfast are good although it's always rice that's my only complaint .
Other than that it was alright .

We checked out a few hotels/resort around the area and this hotel was the one that stood out as the cleanest and the most updated/ modern looking rooms we've seen in Daet and at an affordable price. Their service was excellent with staff very helpful with our requests. They even gave us a free peanut butter sandwich as it was Easter Sunday when we stayed at the hotel. The only downside we experienced is that we can hear the opening and the closing of the doors of the other rooms which can be a bother if you're a light sleeper. Though overall, we enjoyed our stay at Formosa.

Good accommodation for travelling people. Room that we stayed are clean and well maintained. Towels are clean only problem is there is no elevator. Breakfast was included in the price and it was nice too. Would be nice if they have a sample of the formosa pineapple for guests to try since their name ia hotel formosa 😊

I think the lowest price for a room is 1200. We stayed in a room for two persons for like 3000. For me, that is a reasonable price. I was satisfied by the service and wifi. I don't know if they changed the price today, i hope that could help you.
