Torre a Cona Wine Estate is set on a hilltop in the heart of the Florentine hills, with a stunning view over the surrounding countryside. The rural houses are at 150mt from the main XVII century Villa and are fully equipped for a nice stay in the countryside (kitchen, AC, Wi-fi). A Swimming pool and gardens are at guests disposal. Torre a Cona produces fine wines and extra virgin olive oil. The 18th Century cellar is open for guided tours and wine tastings. Osteria Torre a Cona offers a menu inspired by Tuscan tradition, with locally-raised ingredients and absolutely appealing dishes.

My family spent a weekend here for a family wedding. Where do I begin? The location, scenery, attention to detail, extraordinary staff, restaurant and rooms all combine to make this estate nothing short of a dream. The wedding reception was only a part of the experience. I would love to visit again for just a relaxing stay. The suites are all completely refurbished and modern. The grounds are meticulously kept with flowers and herbs everywhere. The pool overlooks the hillside. The breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner menu are delectable. And then there’s the wine! We stayed for 11 days at Torre a Cona Wine Estate and Hotel, and we, honestly, had the best experience. The rooms were nice, clean and very new. Our airconditioning didn't work in the room, so we were assigned a new one. With a beautiful bed, bath tub and of course an amazing view over the hills of Tuscany. Wines are very nice, and served at dinner. Our experience was definitely made by Maxime, the restaurant manager. With his experience and hospitality, eating at the restaurant was a perfect experience every night. We felt so welcome, and he did everything he could to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We were also very lucky to meet the owner of the estate, and he showed us the theater (which isn't usually open for visitors, as it is a very delicate and ancient place), and the gardens. I really wasn't ready to leave after eleven days, but we had to go home unfortunately. I would definitely visit again as this is also a very nice place to get married.…

The best villa rental in Tuscany so far. We checked in at reception and were given the key to our villa, an old restored barn. The villa overlooks the picturesque Tuscan countryside from all views and had an on-site play area for the children and BBQ. Their homegrown olive oil and wine were found in the kitchen. When we arrived at the pool, the owner welcomed us and offered some of their wine -- a nice touch of hospitality. As an architectural designer, I was particularly impressed by the pool and landscape design. Cherry, fig and olive trees were thoughtfully placed throughout the property -- a nice touch when traveling with young children. Overall our stay was magical and the atmosphere was breathtaking -- it was a wonderful balance between a private stay and thoughtful hospitality carefully curated by the owner.…

Upon entry, we were amazed at the size and the beauty of the estate. We thought that we had found a gem of a place! The receptionist went out of her way to answer our questions and show us around and to our Villa. They had thought of every little detail to make us feel at home!We enjoyed the breakfasts, the wine tour and our stay very much. We would stay again at Torre A Cona in a heartbeat! Thank you to the staff who made us feel very special.

First time in a Tuscan vineyard with accommodation and pool. Beautiful historic house with Villas in grounds for rent. The views are to die for. Kids loved the fabulous swimming pool. The wine tour and tasting were brilliant and am really into the Sangiovese grape wines. Veronica our guide was so helpful and passionate about the wines. Seriously thinking about returning next year.

Like most places in the Italian countryside, one really needs a car... we didn't have one (a mistake!) which we did in fact regret.However, the staff at reception were wonderful and organised a friendly staff member to take us food shopping in nearby San Donata in Collina where we were able to purchase all the delectable food produce from the local area and had several feasts during our stay. I could not compliment the staff enough for their help and friendly attitude.The views in all directions were outstanding and the future Villa Hotel promises to offer many delights for future stays. I do love the apartment accommodation though and would choose the Garden Room for our future stays! I will also have a car!!!My only criticism is the condition of the roads and paths inside the property which made walking to the pool area quite difficult for most, and impossible for us. It is NOT a short stroll through the Olive Groves!I would definitely return!By the way... the Wine is quite Good!!…

We went for a wine tasting in Torre a Cona and had a good time with an insight of the Villa’s history which was very interesting, they produce several types of wine and also olive oil. Our Guide, Leonardo, was very knowledgeable and explained very well about the production and different wines. The tasting was delicious and we had not only the wine but also the food tasting with cheeses, hams and the Tuscan soup. Everything was tasty and we would recommend this visit for anyone staying in the surroundings.

We stayed here as we were attending a wedding nearby. What a fabulous place, looks very grand with beautiful grounds. We stayed in a two bed apartment with another couple, there was food & drinks in the fridge, very comfortable beds, pool was a good size. Stunning view of the Tuscan hills, amazing place.

This was our fifth visit to Torre a Cona. It has become our preferred location for family reunions. This year we stayed in La Fienile while my sister and brother-in-law took Fonte Lecceta. Both are well appointed and equipped for self catering. We particularly liked the cosiness and wonderful views from Fonte Lecceta towards the Apennines. Mariana and Livia at reception were always very helpful as usual assisting us with lunch reservations at restaurants in the neighbouring Chianti countryside. The friendliness of the staff, the beauty of the location, the quality of the villas and Torre a Cona's accessibility to Florence and the Chianti region keeps us coming back every year. We look forward to our next visit!
