We found ourselves unexpectedly having to stay at this hotel due to the sad demise of Thomas Cook- thanks again and very best of luck to all employees who were absolutely amazing and professional. The Pasiphae was wonderful. The first evening they put on a fantastic barbecue for us all, it was a great atmosphere considering all that had gone on and we really enjoyed it. The second evenings dinner was equally good and delicious. In fact its made us want to go half board in future when the food is as good as this. Bill and his wife gave us exceptional service, really above and beyond - my husband and I hadn’t accounted for being stranded for extra days and had ran out of our medication. Mrs Bill drive us into the closest busiest town, on a Sunday and dropped us right outside the chemist. We were so grateful for this help and really appreciate everything that they did to help us. We managed to get everything we needed and were able to relax and enjoy ourselves. We were only sorry we had to go as we enjoyed this hotel better than our original one! Thanks again for your exceptional service and kindness.

We had the unexpected pleasure of staying at this hotel following the colapse of Thomas Cook whilst waiting for a flight home. Having been sent here by the CAA at short notice we where a little aprehensive as to what we might end up with. Some 40 odd of us where sent to the hotel whilst we waited for a flight home. Not withstanding the short notice that the hotel was given, they pulled out all the stops to make us feel welcome, providing a warm welcome. The owner greeted us with enthusiasm and after checking us in said, he would lay on a barbeque that evening. The food was great. We got to enjoy the pool and good food for a couple of days and to be fair I was sorry to leave. Would have liked a few more days. It's a shame that our experience was due to the demise of Thomas Cook. I wish all Thomas Cook employees the very best in their efforts to find new positions, I am sure they will in due course!

Dear KentSteve33, I need to correct and mention that you were 65 people arriving in a notice of 4 hours. For us also was a small period having you all for 2 nights instead of 3 or 4 nights. Thank you for your kind comments and I need informing you that we have a special offer on for 2020, as at the moment no British tour operator has put up with making contracts in Lesvos. You may contact me in hotelpasiphae@gmail.com Kind regards Bill

We have just returned from the hotel having spent 16 nights there. Our plan was for 14 nights but the extra 2 were as a result of the demise of Thomas Cook. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the swimming pool is lovely and huge by Greek standards. Breakfast was varied and the whole place had a very relaxed feel. I'd like to thank Bill and his staff for their ongoing hospitality when news of Thomas Cook broke. We were looked after and reassured during what was a difficult time. I do hope the British will continue to visit Lesbos and Pasiphae Hotel. I wish you all the very best for next season.

Dear D1ane24, we would like to thank you for your kind comments. It is going to be a difficult season Summer 2020, especially if no new British tour operator does not make an entry in the island of Lesvos. We have put up with a special offer and if you like, you may send me a request in hotelpasiphae@gmail.com. kind regards Bill

I stayed for five nights for a Summer School. The breeze was refreshing so no real need for cooling (split system cooling unit individual to each room provided). Breakfast was excellent (no orange juice, anyway the hotel price is budget). The cook cooks homemade food, after all Lesvos is known for its quality of olive oil. Irrespective of the room price (very reasonable!) I could use an in-room small safety box even though some are available at the front desk.

Dear Paul First of all I need to express my pleasure to meeting you. This Summer school which was accommodated in our hotel along with the School of Geoparks of Unesco has leveled up the fame of our hotel. In our premises trying and succeeding to do a high level service is not a question for us but a belief. We do offer fresh orange juice on request even during breakfast along with special requests for coffee and we do this for free during the breakfast hours. Indeed it is rather costy to put up with fresh orange juice during breakfast and we have a compromise there. I will take in account your comment of a safety deposit box in the room. It is time to change this. I cannot though promise it for next year, as we are going to run other projects during winter to upgrade the hotel. See you again next year and I am hoping in a stronger movement of tourists for next year. Kind regards Vasilis (Bill) Vogiatzis Manager of HOtel Pasiphae

My boyfriend and I have just arrived back from a thoroughly relaxing week at the Pasiphae Hotel. Throughout the entire week, we experienced; clean and comfortable rooms, an inviting pool and bar area, pleasant food both at breakfast and lunch time, as well as approachable and friendly staff. There are an array of shops, bars and restaurants nearby as well as a lovely beach. We particularly enjoyed visiting the restaurant and sunbed area of Caprice both during the day and night, where we found the service and quality of food exceptional. We would both like to thank the manager Bill, who made us feel truly welcome, for a wonderful and peaceful holiday.
