Had two weeks here early September and just loved it. Had a junior suite, very comfortable and had everything we needed. Very clean and well maintained. Just a short walk to the beach and restaurants in the village square. The sea is very flat here and you have to walk quite a way out. Some reeds in the water which was a bit off putting so mainly stayed round the pool, but would still return. George and Stratos are great guys and will do everything to help you enjoy your stay. Worth having a car even just for a day to visit different parts of the Island, Anaxos, Molyvos and slightly further to Skala Essorou are well worth a visit. Love Lesbos💕
The Imerti hotel is situated just a 5-10 minute stroll from the harbour front in a quiet location. It has some of the plushest hotel rooms that we have encountered on our visits to Greece and based on the room we stayed in, I would describe them as very clean (with towels being changed every 2-3 days) but a little tired. We did trade up to a Superior room and were allocated one that covered two floors (kitchen downstairs and bedroom/bathroom upstairs) and had more than one balcony which was lovely. However, access to the upper floor was via a small spiral staircase which could be rather awkward. I also found the bathroom to be disappointingly small for the size of the rest of the accommodation. (Be prepared to get up early if you want a hot shower in the morning) Breakfast is a plentiful buffet with the usual selection of cereal, yoghurt, toast, pastries and 3 or 4 hot items. I would suggest that there could be a better selection of fresh fruit - there was only one, usually melon or grapes. The pool is not heated but there are plenty of sun beds and the pool-side bar is open all day for drinks and snacks. There is gentle music playing out by the pool every day, but it isn't very loud and won't disturb your relaxation. Cannot fault the hospitality - Stratos and George go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your stay. Just a quick word here about the resort of Skalla Kallonis itself... it is a charming little harbour village with many good tavernas to eat and drink at. The beach is peaceful (no loud music or watersports) and it is in effect situated on a huge salt-water lake rather than open ocean. The water is very calm and shallow a long way out. However, it is also literally teeming with aquatic life of all sorts right up to the edge, including seaweed, small crabs, sea slugs and lots of fish which put us off venturing in to swim. If you want to explore another part of the island then you will need to hire a car, as excursions from this resort are limited.…
We had a lovely relaxing two weeks in Skala Kalloni. The Imerti Studios are a fantastic two storey complex which are modern and clean. The pool area is spacious with a bar and plenty of sun beds. We cannot thank Stratos, George and their staff enough for making us feel welcome from the moment of arrival, nothing was too much trouble and this enhanced the holiday experience. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds with lots of trees and flowers. The hotel is approx. 10 minutes gentle stroll from the village square, restaurants and pretty harbour. This has been one of the best hotels we have stayed in and have already made plans to revisit.
We had a fantastic holiday at Imerti. Stratos, George and their staff want to give you great time. Our apartment was very spacious, modern and clean. Our son enjoyed the playgarden & swimmingpool a lot. Skala Kalloni is a nice village with a little harbour. Not too turistic. We loved it and will come back for sure.
Smallish Hotel but big on Customer Service. Very friendly helpful staff. Lovely resort. All that you would imagine for a Greek Island holiday experience. Hotel is situated approximately 10 minutes gentle stroll from the beach, harbour and restaurants, of which there are plenty to choose from. In particular the owners, brothers Stratos and George were very helpful and accessible to ensure your holiday enjoyment. We will return it was that good.
