Location is about 5-8 minute walk from the airport. 2 minute walk from the market street where groceries, food and the like are available. Check out was a breeze but our check in was delayed as the reserved room has not been vacated by the guests. Took us 3 hours to wait. We got the Sabtang room as this is the biggest they have as it can accommodate 6 persons though we were only 3. This room has enough leg room, we had 2 double beds and one single bed. Problem we had with the room is that the aircon drips and automatically shuts down. We transferred to Siayan room on the third day however, it was not as spacious as the other room and the bathroom was small. It was the newest room which can accommodate us. Both rooms were simple and provide basic amenities like TV, lamp shade and side tables. Based on the set up they made, we had 2 double and a single bed. Pillows and bedding were decent and are changed every day. Bathrooms had showers. During our first night, we experienced brownout for about 30 minutes. Water in the bathroom was not available during the brownout. While the facility has a generator, it was not used as the personnel mentioned that the neighbors will complain. Overall, we enjoyed the stay. The personnel were very warm and helpful. Recommending this to groups on a budget.

Hi May, Thank you for taking time to give your review about us. We would like to apologize for some inconveniences you've experienced.Your comment is appreciated and it helped us improved our facilities. The new air conditioning unit intended for the replacement of the old one in Sabtang Room did not arrive on time. Now, the new ac unit is ready to install. We have reserved water everytime there is a brownout, we're sorry that our newly hired staff did not open the gate valve of the water tank located at the roofdeck when the power got off. Our standard check in time is 10:00 am while check out time is 9:00 am . Hope this is not the last time to visit our place and we will continue to do our best for our guests. Thanks again!

we stayed here for 4 days and it is just walking distance from the airport. the bed is comfortable and the bathroom is very basic. the staffa are accommodating and friendly. Batanes is just a simple province in the Northern part of the Philippines. Do not expext luxurious accommodations and services. But you will be amazed that the old filipino culture like mano or putting the hand of old person or visitor to the child's forehead stil exists.

People in Batanes are very courteous and very honest! When you look around, especially the mountains, the sky, and the sea, it's like you are looking at a live picture! The colors are sharp. The greens of the leaves are so green, the color of the skies during sunrise and sunset are like a painting! I expected simple life since I\ve heard so much about this, but I never expected to experience the real color of nature. The place we stayed in, DDD Habitat, was perfect for us since we were on a tight budget. It was so near the airport and walking distance to the market. For the cheap price of the room, airport transfer was included (maybe because we availed of their tour package also). The tour package was very reasonable and comfortable. I'm just not sure if some will like the toilet, but it was ok with us. The staff at DDD Habitat are very accommodating, we couldn't ask for more!

...when we decided to go visit Batanes, simplicity is a mindset. It is more of the warmth of its people and picturesque scenery started to amaze our soul even before arrival ...DDD Habitat is simple and warm, its people in general is of customer-oriented. Very affordable room rates and tour package. ...Its tourist guide and chauffeur had more than enough stories to tell us - tourist and definitely made our stay more strategic and our mission accomplished.

We are on the 3rd floor. No hotwater. The faucets continuously dripping t5hat you cannot get a sleep. The A/C was dripping that it flooded the floor so we have to put mat to absorb the water.Never offered to change linens/towels ,or even clean the room. We have to bring the garbage out of the room and even that they only pick it up once.

We were staying 1 night on the last day of our Batanes trip due to unavailability of the room for the whole period of our intended stay in another hotel. We were occupying small room on the second floor with miniature A/C unit that needed several hours to bring the temperature down to acceptable level. The confined room had L shaped layout with a double bed occupying the most of the longer arm of the L. The area of the room did not allow for any furniture except bed, small table and locker. A coat rack substituted for a wardrobe. Adjacent bathroom with a shower was the smallest one we have ever seen. Water had tendency of spilling into the room while showering. There is a kitchenette on the first floor which can be used by guests. There is no food service in the hotel and breakfast included in our room rate was brought from some eatery nearby. The reception area is the only place where very slow wi-fi is available. The greatest asset of DDD Habitat is its proximity to the airport: about 600 meters, some 10 minutes walking time.

The overall experience in the hotel was really nice. All the staffs are very nice and honest. They are very hospitable and accommodating. The simple set up of the hotel really adds to the simple living of the place. I really recommend the place for a budget traveler like me because they offer rooms in a very low price with a decent, clean and nice set up of room. The room has air con and a comfortable bed. The comfort has hot and cold shower and they always maintained it clean. The hotel also offers a kitchen that the traveler can used for cooking.

I was without too much expectation since I know that Batanes lodging houses, hotels, accommodations were really not as modern as what we have in Manila. I was more of like expecting more with it's nature, amazing scenery and the likes. So, we went there last weekend of May, and booked with DDD Habitat. We initially were booked in a lower category room and since our flght were canceled and rebooked the next weekend we got upgraded to Sabtang room which has its own washroom with a minimal upgrade fee. The staff were friendly and assisted us during our 2 nights stay. There was a scheduled rotational brown out in Batanes and our room's emergency light is not working so we requested to be moved to another room which has a working emergency light. I am not really comfortable sleeping with a candlelight, so I was so thankful that they obliged and helped us to another room. Luckily the power went up around midnight so we were moved back to our airconditioned room, yey! Rooms were basic and clean, water heater working at the time, breakfast served on time and wifi was good considering the modem was a few feet outside our room. They have a small souvenir shop and rental for bikes just beside them so on your free day you can rent out these bikes to explore more of Batanes. The lodging house was convenient as it was just a walking distance to the town proper and very near the airport. It has a roof deck which can also be a good venue for taking pictures of lighthouse and Mt Iraya. Woul recommend staying there, simple and within the towns easy access to market, church, souvenir houses and tour services.

We stayed for 3 nights here it was an ok hotel. We stayed at the 3rd floor room which had a nice view but the bathroom door was broken. You have to ask for hot water for bathing and they would bring it to your room. The staff was very friendly and accomodating.
