Batanes Seaside Lodge & Restaurant (BSLR) is conveniently located near the "central area" of Basco. Other nearby establishments you can eat at: Octagon, D' Islands, and Shanedel's (?). It's also a few minute walk from PNB where there's an ATM; walking distance from Abad St. where there are some sari-sari stores, a wet market and a few souvenir shops. There are a few stores nearby also that rent out bicycles and motorbikes for a small fee. Our reservation has free breakfast for every day. You can choose to take one of your free meals either on your first day or on your last day. The room looked bigger than in photos. Front desk attendants are always happy to help. They also helped us in planning our tours around Basco and Sabtang Island. No WiFi connection when we got there.

The place seemed like an old house that has been renovated to accommodate guests. The lobby gives a sense of nostalgia. The room we stayed in looks modern and clean with 3 twin size beds. The balcony is facing the beach which gave us a place to unwind after a tiring tour of the islands . The staff were attentive to our needs . Beakfast was ala carte and ordinary , however, on our last night we had a buffet dinner( probably part of our package tour) . Since we were out the whole day touring, the lodge provided what we needed.... A comfortable place to sleep in and do our personal necessities.

One of the best lodge in Basco, Batanes considering its proximity to the airport and Basco town proper. A complimentary roundtrip airport transfer is a plus. A view of the Basco Port and Naidi Lighthouse from the back of the lodge is amazing wherein one can savor the fresh breeze coming from South China Sea. This is my favorite spot in this lodge. We stayed at the room in 2nd floor left side, the room near the balcony (I forgot the room #.. I guess it's 207 or 107). The room is good enough.. pretty basic but decent. Water pressure is a flop! Shower is useless.. that's why there is a presence of Filipino's venerable "Timba at Tabo". Moreover, don't expect good wifi and data connection though since Globe and Smart doesn't have a good 3G signal in Batanes.. and with that, don't

I like very much both Main and Annex of Batanes Seaside because it's handy to everywhere you want to go around Basco by foot (for me anyhow). For business, Wi-Fi is available. Excellent for travellers who wants to be connected all times to the world website! Restaurants are nearby like Octagon and Bernardos! Yummy food! Have a enjoyable trip to Batanes!

We were looking for an affordable, nice hotel in Batanes when I came across Batanes Seaside Lodge online. The rates were very reasonable and I did not even think twice of booking it. 9 of us stayed in the same lodge and from the airport it was just like 5 minutes away. It's a quaint 2-floor guest house which has the Basco Lighthouse view if you get the room at the back of the hotel, on the 2nd floor would be the most perfect. We stayed in Batanes for 4 days and breakfast at seaside lodge was just ok, I love their tapa by the way, really good! For the rest of our meals, Octagon Bed and Dine is just a few steps away they have a wide selection of food compared to Batanes Seaside Lodge. The staff were all so very accommodating and approachable, always smiling. When you go to
