You can find us at the edge of Nuñez Street in the quaint town of Basco. The street is in the center of the town which is close to commercial establishments yet only a few minutes walk or bicycle ride to Basco tourist spots making it an ideal place for your stay.

Quite near from the airport. Has a van transport to hotel from airport vice versa. Good staff but too silent or shy, always with 'meh' face when they see a guest. Room doesn't have a concrete walls, they're all plywoods/hardiflex. Doesnt serve lunch/dinner but has a free breakfast. Clean comfort room. Comfortable bed. Has a mini "honesty coffee table" on the 2nd floor. Budget friendly, we stayed with them for 4 night for php8000 w/ free typical pinoy breakfast, with 2 beds, TV, CR w/ heater and Cabinet.

We booked a family room for 4 with extra bed. You must inform the hotel that you have a child or a senior in your party so they can arrange the appropriate discounts. The cable TV needs a bit of tweaking to work. Hotel staff very helpful.

It is near the town center. Few blocks away from downtown Basco. The reception could organize tours even upon arrival. It is worth to ask for early check in especially if you arrive in the morning. Breakfast is free.

Room is ok, but water supply from the shower is so weak that it was hard to rinse off shampoo from my hair. Hope that the receptionist must have more knowledge on the batanes tour packages they are offering.

We stayed on the third floor at the newer wing where there was a door adjacent to our room that led to a roof deck. On this roof deck we found a bar that one could stand on to peek at the window which was by the shower. It was open and completely transparent. This made me feel nervous and unsafe. The room accross us had the same problem and beneath their window, there was a chair and a bunch of cigarette butts. We could only hope that no one was actually watching us shower. What really bugs me is the way the front office responded. They said it was impossible and that there were no men checked in on our floor. (This was not true, because we saw men coming and going around the third floor). A little while later, they covered one of the windows with wood, but they didn’t really…

Dear Jen, We're very sorry that you felt unsafe during your stay in our Lodge. It is not our intention to have your privacy invaded, we installed the window to serve as an exhaust in the bathrooms. Please accept our sincerest apologies on the manner our front desk officer treated you. Your concern is valid and we always wanted our guests to have a worry-free stay in our Lodge. We took the issue seriously and we know that it needs to be addressed as soon as possible. We will talk to our staff for how she handled the situation, evaluate the vicinity to check if there are places that need to be secured and, we will apply frosted window decals to our bathroom window for more privacy. Downtown Batanes is small and there aren't much hotel options that are as neat, well-lit and centrally-located as Nathaniel's Lodge. The basics are all there, they're near a mini-mart that opens as early as 7am, and they can book you basically anything as long as you advise them a bit beforehand. Our tour guide was a good sport, not to mention always on time! Will book again.

The facility was and the room we had are highly recommended. Most of the staff were nice. Cons: The receptionist that was on duty on our first and second day was irritatingly condescending. Why would the owner put her in that position is a big mystery to my family and I. The two young men and the person who picked us up at the airport were the best! I hope the owner would recognize them. Kudos! Another thing, the bathroom was a bit slippery. I recommend that the owner would put a rubber mat on the floor as this is not safe for elderly, disabled and pregnant. Overall, I would recommend this hotel! Happy vacation!

Nathaniel's lodge is a nice place to stay in Basco, Batanes. Very affordable, the room is clean and the staffs are very friendly and helpful. Nice location too! Five minutes away from the airport and you can use their bike to go around the area.
