Our fourth trip to this hotel. The rooms are large, the food is very good and the staff are helpful. Covid measures were in place throughout the hotel including plastic gloves to use in the self service buffet. Only thing that lets this hotel down is the 3pm check in which often overruns another hour or two. Needs to stop people putting towels down at the pool at ridiculous times of the morning. They have a policy in place but do not enforce it which is dissapointing. Some aircraft noise but, you get used to it. Still a great hotel.

Wasn’t sure what to expect after some of the reviews on here, but our stay at the Corfu Holiday Palace was excellent! As another reviewer said, it’s well worth the upgrade to a sea view - the view is incredible. We loved watching the pirate ship sail past. The staff were polite and courteous, and the hotel facilities were good. We had no problem getting a beach lounger or spot by the pool when we went down at exactly 10am - the sunny spots get taken early so don’t laze in bed all morning and expect to get a prime location. Facilities-wise, the indoor pool was still closed due to Covid, but we braved a chilly dip in the pool and in the sea. Pool towels are provided, and the spa is open for treatments. The games room was a bit of a let down - half the lights weren’t working and it looked a bit bleak, just needs a few pictures or plants to give it some atmosphere. Locally there are lots of nice cafes/restaurants, and getting the bus was very easy to do. The walk into town is a bit perilous as there’s no pavement for half of it. One of the highlights of our stay was the food. The restaurant served a wide choice of buffet items: international and Greek cuisine - salads, soup, and main courses such as pasta, meat, meatballs, moussaka… plus options for vegans and veggies. And the desserts were out of this world! Breakfast was also nice - 5 different types of eggs, bacon, sausages, beans, potatoes, fresh fruit, porridge, yoghurt, toast, breads and pastries, as well as meats, cheeses and veggies. Head down to meals early for a good seat, no queues and a quieter dining experience. The hotel bar and entertainment were really fun - the entertainment goes on late at night and can be heard from your room, so earplugs are recommended if you like to turn in early. This will also help with the plane noises - it’s not too bad but it’s consistent through the day and night, so if you’re a light sleeper you’ll struggle. And one final, very small downside was that the cleaners leave the balcony door wide open, probably to ventilate the rooms during Covid. This invites in a lot of mosquitoes which bit us to shreds in the night - so pack your bug spray and your after bite cream! But in spite of these minor things, we absolutely loved our stay here and I’m so glad we chose this hotel (after a LOT of research)!

We had a lovely holiday in this hotel at the end of September. Room had a lovely view over the swimming room and Mouse Island. We were able to watch the aeroplanes on their approach to the airport. Food was plentiful with a good variety for everyone. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The Manager Georgio was also very friendly, but needed to be seen more around the grounds. Katerina Guest Relations Manager was very helpful organising an island tour for us. The local bus stopped just outside entrance and was very handy to go into Corfu town. It goes every 20 minutes and is always on time, getting you to the town in about 20 minutes. A visit to Mouse Island and the little Monastery is a must. There are three cafes overlooking the runway of the airport and Mouse Island and well worth a visit.

Great hotel in a beautiful location overlooking Mouse Island. Okay so the hotel is not new but it is kept in great condition with a high level of service from the moment you arrive. Rooms of a good size and standard, one side does overlook the runway but noise was not intrusive, the other side sea view/pool view. Lovely, polite friendly staff - special thanks to Katerina - Guest Relations and also Rania - Reservations. Food okay with plenty of choice, entertainment good. Walking distance to Corfu town 40 minutes or 10 minute bus ride from bus stop just outside entrance, also hop on/hop off bus too. Would recommend and hope to return one day.
