Had an amazing chilled out week. Views are absolutely gorgeous from all over , definitely worth booking a junior sea view suite. The food was lovely and lots of variety , pool was cold but nice always managed to get 7 sun beds together . The beach and sea are beautiful. Staff all polite and friendly especially the entertainment staff. They were lovely with our children even though they didn’t attend the kids club. Only downside is it’s abit too quiet and out the way . Other than that it’s great.

All in all a fantastic holiday. The location is just amazing, views were fantastic wherever you sat. We booked a junior suite which had a sea view. The beds were a tad hard, and the bathroom needed updating. The room was clean and well maintained throughout our stay. The restaurant was fabulous, amazing views through the floor to ceiling glass and the food was very good and varied. The restaurant staff were very efficient and friendly, a lovely environment to enjoy your meal. The only exception was the barman in the lobby area called Dimitri, who’s attitude was terrible. He barely spoke, and when he did his manner was angry and very rude. If he saw you at the bar waiting he would wander off and find something to do just to keep you waiting. In the end we stopped going up there in the evening as he just made it unpleasant. Aside from this we would definitely return to what is a beautiful destination.

Just returned from a week at this lovely hotel ! Every member of staff we came across was super helpful , the hotel is immaculately clean , room was nice and cleaned everyday . Good shower , nice balcony . Food was always fresh and hot . Sunset needs to be seen to be believed ! Always room around the pool , plenty of sunbeds on the beach . The beach is sandy and shallow . Big shout out to Craig the entertainment guy from Andy , liam and iona ! My only negative is the drinks , local , very poor quality and syrupy . You can basically drink all day and still be sober ! Other than that .. highly recommended

Having seen some mixed reviews of the Hotel I was in two minds not to book, but TUI made me an offer we couldn't refuse 😜, anyway the poor reviews were in my eyes being petty and oversensitive, this is a small Greek Island not NYC , Paris or London. 1. The location is lovely, but is sort of isolated due to the steep narrow track to it from the main rd, and I use main rd very loosely, this is a small island. Highlighting its steepness, the Hotel even has a funicular type lift for any infirm or elderly guests to get up and down the complex👍 We had a superior ocean view balcony suite, but an free upgrade by the kind and very helpful staff. First the bad points 1 TV No reception 🙄, we didn't need it, NETFLIX on the free WiFi sorted that out 😁 2 Greek plumbing is the greatest, we flooded the bathroom when my partner decided to have a bath, this was that the system couldn't cope and waste bath water came up through the central drain in the bathroom floor 🤬 anyway the shower was fine with lots of hot water and good pressure Now the good 1 Hotel spotless 2 food good, many nationalities catered for, multiple meat choices and lovely dessets, all buffet style unless you eat at " Tortuga" restaurant, we ate there once, nice but limited menu and not particularly well presented considering the cost🙄 3 there is a gym which is usable, but don't expect to find Arnie in there🤣🤣 The Pool is lovely and clean, max depth 1.4m, just nice with a shallow end and a kiddies atea separate, theres showers for use before entering or just cooling off around the pool and a snackbar and drinks bar also self service ice-cream, multiple flavours 😁😁😁 The staff are friendly and very attentive Loungers around the pool are clean and very comfortable with a thick padded top, which I having a back problem prefer, towels are provided free and ate plentiful and of good quality. We're only five days into our holiday but I thought I'd review as to counteract the poor reviews that in my eyes are nitpicking! Anyway having a wonderful time 😁

Some parts of our stay here were brilliant, others not so good. The staff were very friendly and hard working. We had a room with a terrace. However it was dark and the terrace as mentioned was surrounded by a wall. We felt we could not sit in it as our heads were on a level with folks passing by s feet on a busy thoroughfare. The meals were good and varied with plenty of choice. However as the restaurant was a long way from the pool and bar and the lift was broken, I felt I missed out on lunches and the evening entertainment as I could on manage 5 flights of stairs once per day. Lovely beach front setting but far from a five star hotel.

Having read some of the mixed reviews before I arrived I did have pre conceived ideas about what might be, however I was pleasantly surprised- this is a beautiful location , and had a lovely feel about it , yes it’s not perfect but nothing like what some people have posted . The food was excellent lots of choice and the restaurant staff a delight , what a stunning location to eat your meals with views to die for , probably the best of all the staff & incredibly hard working - we were all inclusive so only critism were the alcoholic drinks in the package - very cheap /low budget poor quality- we actually bought branded drinks at the bar - but food excellent . We had a junior suite room with fantastic seats view- beach and pool area was lovely- and nice bars / restaurant on the beach too . Checking in at reception was done via an app which we found strange and I do think that the reception staff could have explained things in more detail on arrival - you had to ask many questions to find things out during the stay . That being said they were helpful when asked . The hotel porter was a lovely man & helpful - bar staff very helpful - there were a couple of other staff members who were able to bit ignorant . It’s a very hilly location and the hotel ran free shuttle buses to the top to local bus services and to the mountain village of Pelakus - top tip - visit Corfu old town it was an amazing place and only 20 mins away by taxi / bus . The hotel does need some TLC as it’s starting to show it’s age hopefully when winter comes the hotel chain will do this however do not be out off at all as this place is a little gem in a beautiful location - I am quite hard to please and overall we loved it & would stay again .

The good bits: The staff are friendly particularly at the restaurant area and the food was generally good. The setting is fantastic and the beach was reasonably clean unfortunately this five star hotel does not supply ash trays on the beach tables so the guests simply put there cigarettes out in the sand they also suggest that they will not allow guests to reserve sun beds by placing towels down and then heading back to the room.. The rooms themselves are at best OK, the ocean view we had was not 5 star, poorly maintained and tired looking. 5 star in Greece is obviously very different from the 4 or even 5 star I have visited else where.. Overall for me, Overpriced and definitely Overrated

Let’s be fair. This is an old hotel & maybe doesn’t tick all the 5star boxes. But it’s a fabulous hotel. Some of the rooms may be a little dated & in need of refurbishment, but all in all the quality and level of service is certainly 5star. We are currently here all inclusive and thoroughly enjoying the experience. The setting is magnificent and the staff are amazing. The facilities, places to eat & drink & entertainment are amazing. We came expecting the worst from the reviews on here. But don’t believe the worst reviews it is wonderful. Try it yourself you won’t be disappointed. Just accept it for what it is. It’s Greece after all & that has it’s peculiarities. Just accept & enjoy.
