Without a doubt, this was my favorite of all the hotels I stayed at during my several weeks in Argentina. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and general manager, who took the time to help us with all our questions and to help bring our luggage to our room. The staff was extremely friendly, and patiently helped us plan a trip to the nearby national parks. This is a family run hotel, and it shows, as the atmosphere is so warm and inviting that it really felt like home to me. The included breakfast was delicious and of a very good quality, and many different things to eat were offered - much more than the typical Argentinian continental breakfast. I appreciated that breakfast was available until 10:00 a.m. There is a lovely covered deck, where one can eat breakfast and look out at the green forest (I was there in summertime) on the nearby mountain, and gorgeous flowering trees. The hotel is in a quiet and peaceful environment, and is very near to a large park and nature reserve. There are lounge chairs and a covered picnic area next to an awesome swimming pool that is large enough for doing laps. The natural setting is enhanced by a river that runs through the property. Note, this is not a luxury hotel, but it is extremely clean, well maintained, has comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. It has a rustic charm and beauty to it, for example, the wooden ceilings and beams. All respect for the general managers Ana and Fecundo who do a great job here; a true example of excellent hospitality!

I have held two workshops at Hotel Selva Montana over the years and both times the staff provided excellent service and support to me and our groups. The rooms are very comfortable and the food prepared on site was delicious! There is a really nice meeting room that is quiet, clean, surrounded by nature, and private. The staff are very kind and supportive and helped us with all of our needs. It's easy to reach the hotel from the airport in Salta which makes it a convenient place to organize a meeting. I would highly recommend this hotel and I hope I have the opportunity to return!

This lovely little hotel nestling into to the hills of San Lorenzo made a peaceful and relaxing break from busy Salta. You should definitely opt for a room with a balcony. We spent hours gazing at the hills, spotting some wonderful birds. The pool is nice ( the hotel is family friendly so be prepared for kids) and the staff are very sweet and helpful. They ordered us a takeaway pizza so we could eat supper on the balcony sipping chilled white wine.

Just outsite Busy Salta. Quiet place. A bus takes you to the centre. Better: rent a car. You need one for the trips. Beautifull birds, flowers and swimming pool. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Go there!
