My week's stay was at the Seabel Alhambra. The hotel is conveniently located in Port el Kantoui with it only being a 10 minute walk from the marina which can be accessed via the beach or by the main road. Sousse is only a short taxi ride away (at a cost of 12 dinars one way) and was the only way to get to Sousse as the Noddy train was not in operation. The hotel was beautiful and clean. My room was well presented with a suite of two rooms and a seating area. The bathroom was great with a walk in shower which was extremely powerful and relaxing. The room was kept to a high standard with fresh towels and a supply of toilet paper provided on a daily basis. The indoor swimming pool was heated and at 1 metre 40 is accessible for adults and children. A large sized pool that was lit in the evening and was pleasant to swim in.
The staff were pleasant and polite and made an active effort to know you.
The animation team are to be praised for their efforts to make the holiday an enjoyable experience. I was able to experience games such as darts, mini golf, table tennis and a rope balancing game as well as dance classes including zumba. I had the pleasure of experiencing two shows which were not disappointing as well as karaoke, bingo and general dance evenings. The members of the animation team would make an active effort to get you involved. It would have been nice to have seen some more shows but was advised that because we had arrived out of season the entertainment was limited.
There were a variety of drinks on offer and as someone who doesnt drink alcohol i was happy with the variety of mocktails, soft and hot drinks on offer. The food was okay but limited in choice. Having experienced an all inclusive resort in Marrakech i felt this hotel had limited food options in comparison.

Absolutely amazing value, everything was spotless, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall the food was good, perhaps could have been hotter, but we didn’t starve, there was always options available. Our waiter, Hamza, was excellent, couldn’t do enough for us. The al a carte experience was good and made a pleasant change. The animation team worked tirelessly to make sure you had a good time, we joined in a few enjoyable activities. Our room maid was very attentive and made a special effort to make my birthday memorable with the way she presented our bed and the room itself, thank you. Overall would certainly recommend this hotel to our friends, well done to everyone.

We have received a very warm welcome upon check in. Every single member of the staff is extremely helpful and polite, always smiling. The animators took a very good care of our little one and other kids. They were greeting the kids from faraway and calling them by their names. The entertainment for adults was also very good, varying in shows and activities. Especially the Fakir night was extraordinaire. Food was delicious, variety of foods for every taste. The food is served to you with a big smile. The rooms are spacious and kept clean all the time. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and has a beautiful gardens. If you have visited Alhambra in Granada before you will recognize lots of features from there in this hotel. The spa is also beautiful and offers a variety of treatments. When it comes to Covid restrictions the staff follows a stricts rules and you will always see a member of staff cleaning and disinfecting. Just returned form a cheap Easter break to Tunisia. We were booked into the Riadh Palms hotel, and very quickly realised it wasn't the hotel for us, see other review. So I jumped onto the web and found seabel. I jumped into a taxi and was welcomed into a calm oasis very beautiful. A lovely lady which I presumed to be the manager, she showed me around the whole complex which is big and showed me the available rooms. She then told me the price, which was amazing value. Now I do have to say that you can not be buying copper and expect gold, but here you are paying copper prices but getting good silver. The room was large with a separate bedroom for us the kids had 2 beds in the lounge, proper beds not converted sofas, there was also 2 day beds a changing area and separate toilet and shower room. The food was great with good Tunisian wine, which was very smooth, staff were happy and helpful, great facilities all round, lots of sport, beautiful spa with great prices. All in all it turned out to be a great stay. Many thanks to all at the seabel Alhambra.

Three of us spent a week at Alhambra (in two separate rooms) and it was fantastic for the price we paid. Keep in mind that we did travel out of season so we got a very good deal, but I could imagine it being very busy and hectic during the summer.
The food selection was varied and reasonable, and one of the restaurant staff (unfortunately we didn’t get his name) was lovely enough to show me what I could or couldn’t eat with my fussy diet. There’s always healthy options and the other two in my group said the desserts were the best they’d ever had in an all inclusive resort! I would just say that the fruit selection was not very good, though I understand they use seasonal produce (apples, oranges, and dates in winter).
The pool and bar area is very nice but quite quaint: not sure how suitable it would be during summer. For us in February, it was lovely. The private beach area is also nice, and there is another pool closer to the beach which would be a more peaceful area to relax in. There’s a short walk to the port where you can do some shopping and boat rides, if you wish to do so.
The true highlight of the hotel is the staff. Those working in the restaurants and bars are super friendly and welcoming, and even the cleaners would always wish us a good morning. They all remembered to bring me water since I don’t drink anything else! Karim in the pool bar was so helpful and friendly. And of course I have to mention the animation team: nearly all the reviews mention them for good reason. They all try to get everyone involved in the day and evening activities. Special shout-out to Aymen and Haroun who we felt made an exceptional effort and had a brilliant sense of humour.
There was a real sense of community when we were there. It seemed like we all knew each other in the hotel and it was like being on holiday with a big family!
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our week, and our five star rating is based on our experience staying out of season and the value for money we got.

We were a little dubious about visiting Tunisia but as soon as we stepped off the plane we knew we had made the right choice. On arrival at the hotel they had saved us lunch despite flight delays meaning we were very late. Rooms are basic but have everything you need with a large balcony, fridge, safe, TV and very good wifi (all without additional charges). Maids are very friendly and cleaned and provided towels and toiletries daily. The hotel is beautifully kept, all staff are exceptionally friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. There is a selection of pools to choose from and drinks are available at all them with no extra cost. Lifeguards are really helpful and ensure you have sunbeds in your chosen spot. The animation team are really friendly and take the time to get to know everyone, they had my husband joining in with everything by end of the week! If that's not your thing there is a stunning zen pool near the beach. My husband had intentions of playing 2 rounds of golf whilst here but couldn't drag himself away from the hotel atmosphere. We were very impressed with the food and the addition of late breakfast bar and an afternoon snack bar. I was a little worried as we have one faddy eater but he was able to find food he liked each day. Unlimited bottled water is available 24hours a day as are alcoholic drinks from the reception bar. Table service drinks including bottled wine and beer is available at lunch and dinner. The waiters go above and beyond to offer really good service. Stunning private beach (with drinks included at this bar too) and the staff running the water sports activities are really friendly and trustworthy. We was a little unsure about venturing off site but booked a quad biking activity. We didn't need to be ensure felt very safe and really well looked after. We even walked on an evening to Hard rock Cafe and Ali Baba's supermarket. Where you can buy everything you need at great fixed prices. Felt really safe and well worth a stroll. Reception staff were very helpful, changing money daily as needed, ensuring we had rooms next to each other and allowing us to keep one of the rooms later on our day of departure without charge. We've been back 24hours and already looking to book our next trip to Tunisia.

Arrived on a Friday afternoon, was taken to my room right away which had a very limited seaview but never requested one.Dinner was a bit of disappointment due to me over sleeping. I never got down to dinner till 8.30pm and there was hardly anything left dinner finshed at 9. Make sure you get there early. They are a lot of German and French at this hotel, who stay for up to 3 months. Speaking to the Tui rep Claire was very helpful, she help me with a problem I had and was very supportive. There is not much going on entertainment wise due to the lack of guests but what Nino the animation leader and his staff did was good. We always had a laugh. All the staff I met were polite helpful and always smiling. The Lady who cleaned my room was lovely I dint find her name but room 1015. The restaurant staff, work so hard and make sure you always have a drink, not a glass but a bottle of wine!!. A couple I can name is Brahmi Fathi and Soif Zaglami who always smiling. And not forgetting the Bar staff who always managed to remember your drinks. Wannes Mathlouthi who I think always got my jokes. I must add I'm a quite fussy eater and found the food lovely I even tried Tunisan food which was great. Would i visit again maybe. When there was a bit more going on. We want to say a big Thank you to all the staff from the cleaners, waiters to the animation team for making us feel so welcome. From the minute we arrived we were welcomed with drinks and staff to take our cases to the room. The hotel is very clean, the cleaner came everyday and provided us with fresh towels. The animation team work so hard to entertainment, they never stop. Not only for the shows everynight but there are so many activities during the day. If you just want a peaceful day there is a zen pool nearer the beach, it is so big and beautiful with a pool bar. The food is good with so much choice, we especially enjoyed the chcolate pancakes made freshly everyday. The waiters were fantastic they work so hard day and night. If you ask for something its there for you. Nidhal one of our waiters made sure we got a table outside every evening and couldn't do enough for us. The manager was lovely, he brought us a soecial dish of prawns which were beautiful. I can honestly say it was one of the best holidays. We were so sad to leave as we felt we were leaving friends behind. Thank you again we are missing you all already ❤

Absolutely fabulous week , beautiful gardens and grounds were spotless , all hotel staff were friendly and went above and beyond to assist anyone’s needs , breakfast was slightly disappointing , but lunch and main meals were good ( not outstanding) but always something there for someone to eat ,
Animation staff were absolutely brilliant kept everyone well informed, included in all activities and evening entertainment was good , cookie and franko were brilliant , very funny and welcoming
Only slight complaint was the free all inclusive drinks all tasted a bit like squash with a bit of alcohol in , the cocktails you pay for are not to over priced but to me the free drinks should be a lot better as the lager/beer and gin & tonic was the best option unfortunately !
Main thing that seems to spoil most holidays is people complaining over nothing , a lot of people moaning about the mini bar 😡 it says mini fridge not mini bar ? There was cold water in there which was ideal for us , rooms were very big yet people still moaned they were small ! REALLY. how much room do they need Sorry but if some people just complain to see what they can get for free I think and ruin it for people with a genuine complaint / problem which is unfair

We had a few issues with the rooms because it looked nothing like the ones I paid for however after a few attempts of complaints we was moved to a better room with a decent view. The food was nothing special but it was fresh and we had different selections every day. The service from the kitchen staff and hotel staff was excellent, They were so helpful even with the language barrier they would go out of their way to make us feel welcome. Thank you to all the staff and specially to the Entertainment team, Haroon, Yaya and the bell boys for looking out for me and my family.👍👏

there actually isn’t a golf course at this hotel which is annoying as my husband plays golf which is one of the reasons why we booked it! we enquired when checking in and were told the golf course belonged to another hotel??? which makes no sense considering it says golf and spa in the name
"Make sure you spend or give away all your Dinar before leaving tunisia, as we had 220 dinar taken from us in the airport, the tui rep gave us bad advise."
There are more places to choose from in the Hammam Sousse area.
