This resort is located in a beautiful secluded tropical paradise. The location alone would be reason enough to come back, but the real reason we are booking a return next year is the wonderful staff that made us feel at home from the first greeting at the airport to the last goodbye. No wonder all of the guests are so happy and many are annual regulars.

Hotel's Favorite
The hill side suite and service is spectacular. You can spend an entire afternoon in the plunge pool and only hear the sounds of nature. The food could be improved. My wife and I found some of the food bland. I suspect some of their food is prepackaged.

My husband and I had the most AMAZING honeymoon at Hermitage Bay. The property itself is immacualte — so clean throughout and the views are breathtaking. We stayed in the Hillsuide Suite (38) which was absolulte stunning. We initally thought we would have stayed in our room a good amount of time, but we were drawn to the staff which made us want to be out. The staff is what really made our stay memorable. From Wabba, showing us the grounds and garden to Annis and Jillian for consistently putting a smile on our face. We could have not asked for a better stay - we can’t wait to go back. Special out to - Kyle, Anthony, Jesse, Marc, Solange, Koshane Thank you!!!

Terrific time x the inclement weather. Service is 10+++. Amazing staff. Suggestions-need a more varied food menu, particularly for dinner. And, it would be nice to have the beach lit up a bit for dinner and after dinner drinks.

This resort deserves 6 stars across the board. My husband & I honeymooned here this October. We couldn’t get over how amazing the resort was as a whole. The staff are the most kind, helpful, and welcoming people we’ve ever met. The CHEFS, lord.. They know what they are doing in the kitchen. We had a cooking class & met the main chef/pastry chef.(would definitely recommend doing this at your stay) the amenities were top notch & so were the rooms. We were taken care of every minute of this trip. We are already working on a way to be able to come back. Hermitage was like family! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Delinquent in writing this review of our fourth trip to HB in May 2023. This is one of our favorite island destinations. Not fancy, but very comfortable, food and beverage great, and people outstanding. Unique laid back vibe. Stayed beachfront this trip instead of up on the hillside on our three prior trips. Was a pleasant change: missed our pool but loved the access to the ocean. One not better than the other… they’re just different. Best value for money proposition we have found. Going back in April 2024 with two couples from home, so we are confident in recommending this to friends who have never been to Antigua. We just returned from our 26th wedding anniversary trip. We stayed in bungalow 34 in the hills. It was absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed the days in our own private pool lounging on the daybeds. The staff brought us champagne breakfast on our anniversary which was special. Simone at the bar made our night every night with appetizers and drinks. She would sing to us and knew our names , she was fabulous! Martin driving the Lamborghini aka golf cart made every ride fun and Solange at the front desk helped us several times with a smile. All of the staff, beach, spa staff, wait staff were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our trip. Like some others. I did not realize the outdoor shower was the only shower and the shutters did not have glass. We went in August, it was very hot. The room did cool down with the AC in the evening but we were in the water most days! Beautiful setting. Food was amazing! We were a little shocked at the gravel road leading to resort was in such disrepair but we were told it was all the construction at other resorts and heavy machinery. So that may be fixed in time.…
