Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
25% of the resort still a construction site, with many villas still under construction. Building noise starts at 7am. Coupled with that they had to host a super noisy local pageant with thumping music for days and today, drilling and hacking noises by the beach doing tear down works. Very hard to relax if at all. Staff can't manage english at the restaurant despite best efforts. Pizza cooked using frozen base and food cost a lot for what you get. Definitely a local outfit needing a lot more work if they want to serve more international guests. A far far cry from JW Marriot I stayed at previously.

The pool villas are great especially at the price they offer. Clean rooms. I would recommend a villa where ur pool gets sunlight so the water stays warm as our pool was always cold. Beach is clean and the food is good.
I wish they provided some cutlery and utensils in the kitchen.

I and my family stayed here 3 nights. Very quick check-in at reception . Staff speak good English and helpful. Our rooms is very clean, our Villa havê private swimming pool and it is clean. We also can use kitchen to cook some food . Daily Breakfast is very good and have so many options . BBQ buffet dinner here was great with good price and live music. We was really surprise Sunset here with beautiful design stuff on the beach. good price for every service here. We will comeback for next holiday here

I came to this resort earlier this year with my friend on a 7-day tour of Phu Quoc Island. I read in their advertisement that our room will have a large bathroom, a large pool, a bathtub, and other amenities. But upon arrival. Everything was so bad, the bathroom was cramped without a tub, the pool was too small. The internet is slow, when I close the door, my device is often disconnected. When I complained to them about the bathtub that didn't have one, they said the bathtub only had in the room on the top floor and if I wanted to change the room, it would cost more??? I agreed to change rooms because they talked about sea-viewing and it was a bad idea. The room is too hot, the air conditioner has almost no effect. I called them to check and the staff said that was some kind of technical problems, it's irreparable and hope we understand??? The next morning, we tried to watch the sea on the top floor and what I saw from the balcony was that the roof of the restaurant??? The worst thing is privacy. Cameras are everywhere. We have to stay with another family. We had to share the pool and the kitchen with them. Fortunately for us that family is quite friendly. The trash bags we put outside and no one come to clean for us. It's really too bad for a 4-star resort like that. I will not come back here. Everyone should do the same.

Do not book this place!! It's like a bunch of Airbnbs in the middle of nowhere. You will have a small shared room in a common villa with strangers who might be loud at night, dirty, and unfriendly. You will NOT have your own place. It is SO far from anything else on the island. You're completely isolated in a place that has almost no amenities. For instance, it's a 20 minute taxi ride to the night market in the town, and there are no restaurants or stores within walking distance. They don't even let the taxi come on to the sprawling property, so you have to request a golf cart to the edge of the property where the taxi can come.
If you want to be completely isolated in the middle of nowhere in a shared accommodation like a hostel, then you might be okay with this place, but I certainly wasn't, and it ruined my entire trip to Phu Quoc.

First of all, they put a CAMERA in the villas. What about customers’ private? 2nd, they charge for ICE. Omg, I’ve have never ever seen any hotel does that. 3rd, I came here with an American friend (I’m asian), and the employees only greet him (totally ignore me) when we walked around. The beach here is not private, and very dirty. They allow outsiders (people that do not stay here) come to their beach. 4th, the floor in the villas is not clean. However, we would like to verify some points as below: 1. Camera: Due to our business model, we sell accommodation as Room units (similar as Hotels). Therefore, all public areas such as entrance, living room, dining room, swimming pool … will have camera to guarantee the safety and security for you and other Guests during staying with us. In case, you make reservation for whole villa, you can request our Receptionists to switch off the camera. 2. Service charge: Regarding outside foods and beverage that Guests bring into Resort’s area and request extra service such as cups, spoons, forks… or ice cubes, we need to collect service charge. This service charge is the same as all other restaurants and resorts. 3. Staff’s attitude: We have professional program to train our staffs how to serve the best to all Guests and definitely not to distinguish any specific Guests. All in-house Guests and visitors will be welcomed by our SMILE and greetings. 4. Private beach: With the long beach over 400m, we have areas for in-house guests only. These private areas are absolutely quite and separate. You can contact to our Receptionist to know more in details. Regarding hygiene system, we have special team will regularly clean the beach areas. However, on the rough-sea days or suddenly changed weather days, our hygiene service can be interrupted and not perfect 100%. We hope your kind understanding. 5. Room-service in Villas: Before check-in, our Housekeeping team will clean all Villas from inside to outside with the best arrangement for Guests. During staying with us, if you found out any unsatisfied things, you can contact our Receptionists and we will send our staff to come directly and clean as the standard of our Resort. The best location for viewings Sunset. Nice checkin beach and beautiful villa , big pool , air conditioning is working well and turned on whole day. We had 2 family and stay in 1 villa, it is so comfortable and private. We booked in special time ( Covid time ) and price is cheap . When we checked out , bellman forgot our luggage and we went to airport without them, but fortunately, they transferred it to us so fast and there is no trouble. It is so kind.

We wanted to check this place out with the view to possibly staying there... However, on arrival we arrived at the car park and there is a ticket office next to it.
It's transpired that we have to pay 70,000 dong per person, just to walk into the hotel.
So we just jumped on our motorcycle and rode away. I understand that they want to keep the riff-raff out but paying money *just to walk into a hotel* is something I've never encountered in all my life.

stayed here one night only,it is the last hotel i stayed in phu quoc,after that,i go to HCM city.the resort beach famous for sunset and IG photos-taking. but that day when checked in,not a sunny day,the sky rather gloomy,and even rained at the sunset time.i did take many pics at the beach,but the installation arts on the beach need more maintenance,quite old. the resort is a kind of villa,there are four rooms in a bungalow, i occupied one room,ohers are vacant that day.room not very big but comfortable, bathroom is clean, and with a bathtub.there are TV, fridge,wardrobe in the room,also it comes with aircon. i dont like the idea of sharing room with others,but no choice, they dont have hotel rooms at the moment.i noticed they started to build a boutique hotel near the villa. maybe one day can stay at their hotel? i had dinner at the resort, ordered tagliatelle with broccoli,mango smoothie and yogurt panna cotta ,only the dessert not good, others tasty, i love the pasta.but the price quite expensive. if you want to eat outside,you can walk to the nearby community, more options there. breakfast is buffet style,food very tasty and worth the money.they offer free shuttle bus to airport,but when check out,the staff said the bus service temporarily unavailable at that moment,so they called a taxi for me, but paid by the villa.anyway, good service! if you ask me want to stay here or not,if come again, next time i will stay more longer,cuz i didnt swim in the pool during the stay, one night too short, cant enjoy actually.

Me and my friends chose Sunset Sanato to celebrate our special occasions. We stayed in a 5-bed room villa with pool and garden. It was an enjoyable holiday. Our wedding and birthday celebrations are fun with beautiful sunset and great hotel service. However, there are glass door in the kitchen that can be seen by the next door neighbor and we can also see all the activities of them, only this is not really good in my view. The reception, restaurant and housekeeping are professional compared to a 4-star resort.
