Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, all the staff were very pleasant, helpful and polite, reception staff were extremely helpful.
Restaurant was a pleasure to eat in, wide variety of very tasty Tunisian food, menu changed daily, fresh meat or fish grilled in front of you every evening, fantastic deserts, fresh salads and plenty of fruit.
Hotel itself is very clean but could benefit from some updating. The cleaning in our room was a bit slap dash except when Khouloud was doing the cleaning and we could always tell when she had cleaned our room because she always left it looking and smelling fabulous.
Fridge and flat screen TV in room, always plenty of hot water, good quality black out curtains, free aircon while we were here, safe available in room, only small complaints are lights in room are quite dim and mattress and pillows aren't the best but we've had worse.
Lovely, well kept pool area with snack bar and waiter service. Pool kept very clean Good quality sunbeds and nice thick pads.
All in all there is a lovely atmosphere to the hotel and we would definitely return here in the future.

I have just got back home from a lovely 5 night stay at this hotel with my mum. Please do not believe the bad reviews! We both really enjoyed our stay here, if you want a holiday to just relax and sun the Flora Park is perfect for that kind of holiday! Basic manners and being polite to the staff here really goes a long way. From the clean, serene outdoor pool with its beautiful setting to the gorgeous beach upon which they have their own section. The cocktails in the hotel bar are fantastic and great value for money, bar tender Fayez is very accommodating and friendly and adds a flourish to your drinks and serves them with a smile! The breakfast and dinner buffets offer a wide selection of choice and are not bland at all but full of flavour! Keep an open mind, this is not a typical Brits holiday destination but somewhere to try the Tunisian cuisine and head chef Izmet is eager to please and cater to your tastes, he will even make fresh omelettes and pancakes for you for breakfast upon request and is happy to do so! Breakfast usually starts at 7am however we where picked up this morning for our flights home at 6am, Izmet insisted on us going for breakfast first to ensure we didn’t leave hungry, thank you so much for the kindness Izmet! Also, our maid who cleaned our room every day upon our stay was lovely, greeted us every morning and would leave us flowers on our beds, around the sink and even on the bath mats and leave our pyjamas in creative patterns every day which was a really nice added touch!
Thank you to all at this hotel who made us feel so welcome and made our stay so enjoyable. I really would recommend a stay here!

There is good and bad with this hotel. The staff are brilliant, our lady that looked after our room was fantastic and kept room spotless, there is no kettle in room to make that morning cuppa. The pool looks beautiful but it is so cold, sometimes just too cold to get in and enjoy, the indoor pool was just as cold. Now the food, breakfast was very good, evening food bad, if you liked fish you was OK, my biggest complaint was the food was cold, not even luke warm, I don't know how other people could eat it and not say anything. The pool bar food was great, cooked to order tasty and hot. The beach bar very good and again food cooked to order. Must mention the bed, wow was it hard and uncomfortable. The mini bar is empty and not replenished, and you have to buy water, hotel policy is you can not bring food or drink in. Saying all bad bits we did have a good time.

Absolutely fantastic holiday from start to finish! We absolutely loved the place, we didn’t want to come home! Even the children aged 13 & 16 absolutely loved it! A lovely relaxing holiday, no booming music at 10am, no sun bed hoggers at stupid o’clock, there was none of it. Which was a breath of fresh air! lovely and clean, they don’t stop cleaning it! And the fresh flowers in the room each day was lovely! food was flavourful, hot and fresh, hats of to the chef! We have two children who are quite fussy eaters and they even enjoyed the food, a rarity for us, you could always make a good meal, and the ice cream was sooooo good!!! So Thankyou for putting a good variation on each evening for everyone! and their coffee in a morning was the best! I miss it! We have only been back a week and I want to go back, the staff are what make this holiday also, they are absolutely lovely and they can honestly not do enough for you! That includes the reception staff, cleaners, bar staff the waiters in the restaurant, just everyone, both the children lost their AirPods at different times during our stay, and both times they had been handed into reception, that speaks volumes about how honest the staff are and also how the hotel is. The lifeguard (pool guy) Ja Rule as we called him, does not stop, from when he starts to when he finishes, he is an absolute credit to the hotel! he made sure everyone was ok, had loungers, if you wanted to be in the shade he would sort it out, he himself was also constantly tidying around, just making sure everyone was ok in general, chatting to everyone, he was just the best! and I hope he sees this, from David, Terri, (crouch) Dion & (coco) dior! Cheeky boga

Chose the Flora park due to its location in Yasmine Hammamet. On arrival we were quickly checked in and Told where our room was. Room 226 on the first floor overlooking the pool. Excellent size room with good size balcony. Small fridge in room. TV remote has to be requested(deposit payable).
Nazhia our cleaner was the best: the room always smelt clean and fresh everyday.she always had a smile and blew kisses every time she saw us. Lovely lady.
Facilities in the hotel were very good.
There is an indoor pool and also a spa. I can highly recommend the massage. I had a relaxing massage but the young lady also did some lymphatic drainage which was excellent.
The food is typically Tunisian; couscous, stewed vegetables, battered cauliflower. At times it was a struggle to marry things up, however, we never went hungry!
Outdoor pool area very nice an a great place to relax. The outdoor pool was freezing so never dared to go in.
We were half board and no food available at lunchtime so had to go out. Not a problem as several places to eat close by.
The Hotel has its own private beach which is lovely. Bit disappointed that food wasn’t available but it is out of season.
The medina is five minutes walk away and is great to try your haggling skills. Barter it’s a must!
Would I return? Yes most definitely

Fantastic hotel. Amazing service from start to finish. The staff can't do enough for you and seem genuinely happy with their jobs. Rooms are a bit dated but very clean. Food varied and provide a good choice.
A word of advice. Tip your maid early when you see them. We tipped 20 dinar, about a fiver on day three and extra pillows appeared. Loads of floral decorations and she left a spare card to keep the aircon running when we were out. Lovely to come back to. If you've never been to Tunisia here's a couple of tips. If you change your money at the hotel make sure you get a receipt as you'll need it to change your money back at either the bank or airport.
You will meet a lot of people who will tell you they work at your hotel and will try and take you to the Medina where you will be pulled from one shop to another trying to part you from your money. Best way we found was to find a shop that actually has prices to give you an idea how much things are. If you turn left out of the hotel and cross over the road keep walking down for about 10 mins there are a couple of large stores one called Joys that sell clothing and a large variety of tourist items. This will give you a good idea what things actually cost before you start haggling in the local shops. Also up that top end is a large roundabout. To the right as you turn onto the promenade is a big supermarket. You'll find all your essentials here bottled water etc at half the price of the smaller shops.
Haggling is part of the fun in Tunisia. Rule of thumb divide by 4 at current rates and you'll have your price in pounds. 100 dinar 25 quid. They will always start high make sure you start really low and meet in the middle. Don't be afraid to just walk away they will follow you and drop the price even more. Enjoy it, haggling can be a bit daunting at first but great fun and you can get some amazing bargains.

Cons
Room is very outdated/tired looking
No hot water

Very unconfortable beds
Just 2 bedsheets and pillows no duvet. Not the best.
Cats just wondering around
No water in room or available in hotel
You need to pay for water/drinks outside meal times even if your Full board
Not allowed to bring food/drink into resort
No english tea available for breakfast only if you pay extra (even tho some syaff claim they dont have english tea at all!!

Cheap and cheerful...

Staff
Firstly the staff at the hotel are lovely and can't do enough for you..

Room
We had a standard double room on the ground floor, the beds are extremely uncomfortable.

The bedding was never changed and the lack of towels wasn't good!
When we asked the maid said she will check with house keeping and never got back to us.

The curtains were ripped and falling off, the pictures on the wall were wonky!
The toilet had a very unpleasant smell!

We did ask to change rooms but they said they were fully booked.

If you can upgrade the room.

Outdoor swimming Pool
The pool area is very nice, plenty of sun loungers. Lifeguard and bar staff very friendly!

Spa
The indoor pool was supposed to be heated, it wasn't!!

We paid about 38 pounds or a facial good price but it wasn't very relaxing, just a bed put in a brightly lit room once my masc was on I had to swap places with my sister.. I sat on a stool!
In my opinion not worth it!

Food
The food is nice, however very limited and repative.

Breakfast was a choice of cerals, eggs/ omlettes, pancakes, bread, hot food, hot drinks, fruit juice, fresh fruits, Cold meat and cheese.

Luch/Evening
Rice, vegetables, meats, pizza, soup, fish, salads, potatoes.
We did go full board plus so we had a bottle of water, or soda or a glass of wine included.

Cocktails are VERY nice

We did eat out a couple of evenings as its very reasonably priced.

Entertainment
We went early May and we didn't see any Entertainment, this may change as the season gets busier.

Location
Easy access to the beach, you'd find shops near by.
The Marina around 15 to 20 minute walk.
As two females we didn't venture out that much..

Overall a relaxing trip and suitable accommodation for those travelling on a buget.

Horrible experience…I don’t know how this hotel has a 4 star rating. Firstly, the front desk team, one of the suitcases got lost (transfers decided to swap half of us) and told us to inform the hotel it was missing. The team acted so slow to this matter, no care in the world and did not try their best to retrieve this. We had to even buy Skype credit to contact the airline , and when I instructed them to let me speak to the transfers company (after 2/3 attempts), the man on the phone said he didn’t speak English and cut me off. The communication and how they dealt with the situation was very slow, the team at front clearly need training. Anyways, we were so frustrated at this point so me and my friend complained again for the 5th time but more angrily because as you can imagine it was the first day/night there and we have a situation like this. After this happened, we went back to our room and magically a call came through to say they found out from the transfer that it has been found and it will come in 30 mins. No apology whatsoever and to make it even better, we were told to come to the reception to collect, bearing in mind our room was on the other side of the hotel and we were so tired at this point. I was glad in the end it was retrieved but only because we had to keep going back (the hotel didn’t bother providing us updates when they said they would) and we had to highlight that it is very important due to medication being in the luggage and to deal with the matter steadily and with high importance. God forbid, if anything happened to my friend during those hours when she needed medication…Also, the room we were given, had a luggage and two shirts in which had to be removed, slightly confusing as the room was reserved. Imagine it took us 3 times to ask them to have a look at the fridge…bloody brilliant. To top it off, this hotel does not provide receipts for exchange, had to ask twice and still nothing yet they understand so I had to spend my remaining dinar in the airport as the airport needed a receipt which this hotel never gave…lovely! Didn’t even do one thing right during this stay. The food was average, restaurant/bar staff not welcoming and were unfriendly, acted as if we were not there. The security team however were very welcoming and friendly. All we wanted was a good stay, we were not expecting royalty but if they can’t even do the basics right and act like this, it makes me think how did they get this 4 star…I would not recommend staying here, I wish I had booked another hotel in the area. Don’t be fooled by the rating, I would stay elsewhere.

The place has been excellent in so many ways. First to mention the hotel was very peaceful and full of charm. Not like the noisy hotels where you cannot find peace in any corner, totally the opposite, charming and perfect for everyone at every age. We went with kids, ages 2,6 and 9, and with the grandparents and we all loved it . Staff are so kind and attentive and they always help you if you have any need, really good service. Food is very nice and you always have few choices and always one or two typical Tunisian dishes . The place is located less than 5min walk from the beach and there is a beach bar for the clients of the hotel where the service is also very good. Few shops very close in case you need anything,
everything very convenient and handy.
Just to say a big thank you to everyone who has made this holidays a wonderful ones to remember, the treat has been outstanding, from the beginning to the end, starting with the director and passing by waiters, chefs, guards, housekeeping etc. Thank you very much.
Best wishes to you all and we hope to see you soon.

Are he sunbeds on the beach free ?
Answer from Y1565YHinfo

Yes the sunbeds on the hotel's beach are free. Also the cafe served the most delicious freshly cooked food which was great as we did not have lunch booked at the hotel. In particular I loved the vegetarian pasta and mocktail which came with a side order of bread. Yummy. But the only downside was a beach hawker who persuaded me to buy a couple of pomegranates for around 6GBP on the first day. A very delicious but expensive treat!

This is a good question as we thought it was adults only but there was one kid at the hotel with their parents. There was no children's entertainment and most of the people staying looked like honeymooners, friends and family e.g. son and mum.
