The place to be if you want to clear your mind in the middle of no where with amazing views. But the 2 year chalets desperately need some renovation. Towels were dirty, tv didn’t work properly, WiFi stop working by midnight and finally shower drain was not working properly. Food was minimalist. Still it’s a great concept and experience.
We went there to celebrate my birthday which was completely a surprise for me..it’s such an amazing and awesome place..the scenery and viewpoints are just the icing on the cake.. The staffs were very welcoming.. The food should be upgraded and we hold be given more choices.. It is a cozy and refreshing place.. Stress-free place.. If you truly love nature, this exquisite place is for you..
Its so calm and soothing. The perfect place to rejuvenate. The chalet is nice & tidy. The front and back view is breathtaking and enough as decor. Couldn't get enough of the view! We were there for the husband's birthday and we appreciated the special attention by the team. Special thanks to Vanusha for the warm welcome, Anusha & Mahen for the good service at the restaurant. We believe it would be even better to have one or two more options for dinner. One day is not enough but it is a good break though. We shall definitely be back
Chalets Chamarel~The place to be It is a mesmerising place, with beautiful cozy accommodation, wonderful staffs going out of their way for you..Loved the deco and the bathroom My husband and I had a magical stay there The romantic dinner offered to us under the beautiful starry sky was magical SPECIAL THANKS to Sharvan who was very attentive
We went to the Chalets Chamarel for my husband's birthday. If you want a peaceful retreat, cut from the world, this is definetely the place to be! The place and the view are just breathtaking! we felt so grateful and lucky to be able to wake up to the view of Le Morne. The staffs are very nice and caring and went extra mile to help in making my husband's 30th birthday special! The chalet is spacious and very comfortable with a cosy decoration, and you even get to shower in nature! (This bathroom is goals!) For yoga/fitness lovers, there are yoga mats in the room. Regarding activities, you can have a stroll in the ebony forest (very interesting to learn about mauritian biodiversity!), or see the chamarel waterfall and 7 coloured earth. This is more a couple getaway though as there are not a lot of activities for kids/teens. Food is tasty, typical mauritian food, but not much choices. The breakfast 'buffet' needs improvement as well as it seems they have been cutting costs a lot there. We recommend this amazing place and will definitely come back!…
