The place to be if you want to clear your mind in the middle of no where with amazing views. But the 2 year chalets desperately need some renovation. Towels were dirty, tv didn’t work properly, WiFi stop working by midnight and finally shower drain was not working properly. Food was minimalist. Still it’s a great concept and experience.

Its so calm and soothing. The perfect place to rejuvenate. The chalet is nice & tidy. The front and back view is breathtaking and enough as decor. Couldn't get enough of the view! We were there for the husband's birthday and we appreciated the special attention by the team. Special thanks to Vanusha for the warm welcome, Anusha & Mahen for the good service at the restaurant. We believe it would be even better to have one or two more options for dinner. One day is not enough but it is a good break though. We shall definitely be back

We went to the Chalets Chamarel for my husband's birthday. If you want a peaceful retreat, cut from the world, this is definetely the place to be! The place and the view are just breathtaking! we felt so grateful and lucky to be able to wake up to the view of Le Morne. The staffs are very nice and caring and went extra mile to help in making my husband's 30th birthday special! The chalet is spacious and very comfortable with a cosy decoration, and you even get to shower in nature! (This bathroom is goals!) For yoga/fitness lovers, there are yoga mats in the room. Regarding activities, you can have a stroll in the ebony forest (very interesting to learn about mauritian biodiversity!), or see the chamarel waterfall and 7 coloured earth. This is more a couple getaway though as there are not a lot of activities for kids/teens. Food is tasty, typical mauritian food, but not much choices. The breakfast 'buffet' needs improvement as well as it seems they have been cutting costs a lot there. We recommend this amazing place and will definitely come back!
