My friend and I had the pleasure of staying in this lovely boutique hotel. We leave tomorrow and I'll be heartbroken. The hotel itself is small and set in the most stunning location in the centre of the bay. We had a seaview suite with balcony. It's highly recommended (rooms are small). The balcony lets you watch the world go...

We stayed at Hotel Sipan for two weeks in August 2016. Very clean and despite what other reviews stay I thought the decor was very modern and not tired looking at all. Staff are always friendly and quick to serve when having food or drink on the terrace. All staff speak good English. I thought the food was delicious -...

This is a lovely hotel based right on the bay at Sipanska Luka which is at the other side of the island from where the ferries and most commercial boats arrive. There's a public bus which links up with the ferry from Dubrovnik. it literally drops you at the door (no need for private transfer). The hotel is modern, clean...

The Hotel Sipan has one of the best views from a hotel I have ever seen. It was truly beautiful. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The air conditioning was really efficient and the shower was superb. I was amazed at the range of food at breakfast. Staff did not fall over themselves to help but answered...

We ended up on the Sipan island by hopping on the first ferry in Dubrovnik when coming up from Montenegro. Eventhough it was the busiest season the hotel staff managed to shuffle us a room for two nights. The top floor rooms have a beautiful view either on the bay or to the hills and the rooms have all the...

Quiet place, inconspiciously well designed. We were with a todler and staff had no hesitation going well out of their way to facilitate our feeding efforts. Hotel has only two rooms with balcony. One needs balcony on such kind of location. However, calm terrace of the hotel serves well as replacement.

This was a great place for a summer holiday. Not to busy, just perfect for relaxing. Hotel was clean and comfortable and the air conditioning was wonderful, the staff were all very helpful especially the reception staff. I was surprised that on my birthday I received a complimentary bottle of wine and a note wishing me good wishes for my...

Beautiful village and surroundings, nice room, great staff who would go out of their way to help. Will be back soon! The island is a hidden gem and get-away from the huge crowds on the mainland. Perfect for a short retreat!

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The hotel is located at the north side on the island Šipan in the very South of Croatia, a district of Dubrovnik and is only 9 sea miles off the mainland. This charming 75 room hotel is situated on the waterfront in Sipanska Luka Bay typically known as a “Riva” providing guests with “picture postcard” views of the bay and the visiting luxury yachts that anchor in front of the hotel.. Known for its charm as a fishing village, the bay also provides one of the best sandy beach locations in the Elafiti Islands and with a west facing perspective provides dramatic sunsets over the Elafiti Islands.Šipan is an experience hard to find anywhere else in the Mediterranean, a place for true originality and romance, an experience of the real Croatia, unspoiled by mass-tourism and its consequences. ... more   less
