Hotel is clean and fairly basic. Breakfast buffet is quite good but evening buffet is very expensive for what it is. Air con in rooms work fine, just make sure windows are closed properly for it to work. Only negative was I had to keep asking for fresh towels. On the plus side it has free wifi so I can...

My partner and I stayed here in July 2013 and had a wonderful time. The village and the bay is idyllic and there is a particularly excellent little restaurant nearby (Cod Marka). Specifically about the hotel... it is nice, we had a standard room which was small, but had everything and more importantly was clean, we had opted for a...

If you want a truly relaxing, beautiful location then the island of Sipan is well worth considering. My wife and I stayed two nights at the Sipan Hotel which is located on the Sipanska, Luka, northern side of the island. The hotel has been tastefully refurbished and the view from the sea facing rooms is literally stunning. If you are...

Close to sea, a modern hotel with a nice and friendly staff, priced more than reasonable at a qiuet and unspoiled fishingvillage. Breakfast and dinner under the pergola, cafés and small restaurants within 200meters. Canoes and bicycles for rent, swimming right outside village center

Hotel Sipan has recently opened under new ownership and has been refurbished to a very high standard (the air conditioning is working fine). The hotel is set in a beautiful bay on a quiet island. After staying in Zadar and Split it was a pleasure to retreat to somewhere where we could find isolated beaches, walk along coastal paths and...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The hotel is located at the north side on the island Šipan in the very South of Croatia, a district of Dubrovnik and is only 9 sea miles off the mainland. This charming 75 room hotel is situated on the waterfront in Sipanska Luka Bay typically known as a “Riva” providing guests with “picture postcard” views of the bay and the visiting luxury yachts that anchor in front of the hotel.. Known for its charm as a fishing village, the bay also provides one of the best sandy beach locations in the Elafiti Islands and with a west facing perspective provides dramatic sunsets over the Elafiti Islands.Šipan is an experience hard to find anywhere else in the Mediterranean, a place for true originality and romance, an experience of the real Croatia, unspoiled by mass-tourism and its consequences. ... more   less
