If you are going to Hotel Sipan you are in for a treat. Just back from there and the staff were so friendly, special mention for Dina on Reception. She helped us with information, easy check in and transport problems. Gold Star. The hotel itself was clean, comfy and room was large. We had a sea view through the tree...

We stayed two nights and the views were stunning with sunset view from our bedroom window. Very quiet, bedroom size okay, room very clean. Bathroom on the small size but didn't matter, Staff helpful but they seem overstretched. Buffet breakfast not a great choice, but eating with a seafront view was lovely. If you want somewhere to unwind and quiet...

Stayed half board for two weeks at the end of September. Lovely holiday, swimming, walking, visiting other islands and Dubrovnik. Good weather, warm sea, nice room with sea view, good shower, reasonable hair dryer and easy to use safe. The room was cleaned every day, towels and bed linen when necessary. Staff were exelant, kind and helpful, the only complaint...

We were looking for a relaxing holiday to recharge our batteries and this was certainly it. If you want a lively holiday it's probably not for you. The hotel was clean and comfortable with friendly, helpful staff. We stayed on a B& B basis and found lovely restaurants nearby to enjoy dinner. The food was great and the prices reasonable....

We paid extra for a suite and it was worth every penny to get the balcony. Lots to watch with small fishing boats and large yachts coming and going. A few problems like a split shower hose sorted same day as reported. Stayed on B&B basis. Breakfast really good. Buffet with lots of selection, checked and replenished regularly. Scrambled egg...

We stayed here for a week and booked B&B - this was a good choice as there are some nice restaurants to choose from on the island. It is very quiet but that was what we wanted! Our room had a sea view but we couldn't both look out of the window at the same time because we were on...

We stayed here for a week at the end of September. The weather was beautiful. The hotel is at the head of the bay so the views are simply stunning. The bedrooms were comfortable although quite minimalist. Downstairs, the dinning room was a bit like a self service canteen and the food wasn't great (we didn't try the a la...

This hotel delivers on all levels. Extremely helpful reception staff, who go out of their way to answer any questions that you put to them.A good room with all the necessary amenities. Buffet breakfast with a breath taking vista awaits. You will not be disappointed. Sipan is a quiet area, so don't expect a boisterous night life. If you want...

We ended up with a table of 9 at the Kapar Bar restaurant which was very busy. Needless to say the service was a bit slow - but we were in good company so this wasn't a major problem for us. Our meals were good especially some of the beef and pork meals. The waiter was pleasant and reacted to...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The hotel is located at the north side on the island Šipan in the very South of Croatia, a district of Dubrovnik and is only 9 sea miles off the mainland. This charming 75 room hotel is situated on the waterfront in Sipanska Luka Bay typically known as a “Riva” providing guests with “picture postcard” views of the bay and the visiting luxury yachts that anchor in front of the hotel.. Known for its charm as a fishing village, the bay also provides one of the best sandy beach locations in the Elafiti Islands and with a west facing perspective provides dramatic sunsets over the Elafiti Islands.Šipan is an experience hard to find anywhere else in the Mediterranean, a place for true originality and romance, an experience of the real Croatia, unspoiled by mass-tourism and its consequences. ... more   less
