Located just 10km Ahead of Mahabalipuram , welcome hotel kences by ITC is one of the best resort that i have visited twice . The hospitality provided by the resort and ITC group was really outstanding starting from the view from the room which has direct access to the private beach by the resort and the cleanliness maintained by the housekeeping in the room is really amazing . There was only 1 main restaurant which will offer ( breakfast , lunch & dinner ) and i had the best food in the restaurant bet it any time from breakfast , lunch & dinner its really tastes good . Overall i had a good time in this resort and i will keep visiting again . Thank you ( pls note :- I have visited in the year 2015 and 2017 not 2019 i had no other option to change the date )

Outstanding. The staff will go out of their way to help you. We were travelling with a baby and the staff was so sweet to offer any kind of help one could ask for.
The property is kept really pretty and maintained and attention is paid to small things everywhere. It's a pleasure to take a walk inside. The beach is barely 15 metres from the gate on the beach.
The pool, gym and the spa are wonderfully maintained. There is also a sand court for beach volleyball and a well maintained playpen for children. Don't miss the hammock.
The restaurant quite good like all ITCs. If you don't want to have at the in-house restaurant, there is also an eatery outside within walking distance. Very thoughtful of the hotel to provide an inclusive High Tea.
Overall the property is a wonderful beach resort to spend some quality time with your loved ones.
The welcome an see-off by the staff was warm and sets a good example for others to follow.

One who looks for a relaxing and peaceful holiday can go for it, Worth the price with well cleaned rooms and a tasty breakfast buffet. It would be still better if they have lunch buffet.

We visited during COVID-19 2nd wave and was worried about the safety during our stay. To our surprise, we were provided a stay with highest safety protocols, social diatancing, UV sterilisation, Fully disinfected rooms. You cannot find one hotel staff without face mask.
Food was provided in Rooms and was a treat to our tastebuds. Received a freshly baked B'Day cake in Kiwi flavour at 11.30pm as promised.
Though the property was operating with limited staff due to COVID , there is nothing missed out in service aspects to the guests.
Totally worth the money and the service of the staff with regards to the room and other amenities especially the people at the reception and front desk were absolutely commendable.
Took our car to Beach ( thru adjacent road near the property) and Enjoyed sand drive 4x4 adventure. Sea was a bit rough but managed to Enjoy.
We spent good time in beach , there is a full time security posted near beach makes you feel safe. The Beach view is splendid. 2nd Day morning we were at beach by 5Am and enjoyed mesmerising view of sunrise.
If you want a break, this property wont disappoint you

I travelled to the Kences palm beach for a year end holiday with my family of 4, wife and two young kids aged 7 and 4. I must admit that the holiday, was one of the best we had till now. Although we spent the entire duration of 3 days within the resort, not at once did we feel the need to step out of the resort. The physical infrastructure and the human capital together put up a great effort. The rooms are well appointed and are serviced well considering the sanitisation protocols these days. We stayed in a garden Bungalow, which is located amidst a lush green garden and about 100 metres from the private beach of the resort.The resort management has ensured that there is enough and more to do at the resort without feeling the need to step out. The private beach is clean and ingress and egress is well marshalled by a smart security personnel who ensures your safety whilst also dishing out safety instructions. Whilst at the resort you do notice that the human capital is working very hard to ensure that all guests under thier care are well looked after. The chef team led by Amruth do a fine job in catering to varied tastes of guests and dish out some delctable gate. The new year special buffet was indeed special and matched the occasion. Kavya at the Riva deserves a special mention, she was at the restaurant guiding and serving guests. She was present flat the restaurant for all meals for a straight 4 days.I also had the oppurtunity to Interact with Mr Vikram Falodiya, the GM, I must compliment him for running a well oiled machinery at the resort, ensuring that all guests are wowed at each touch point. Traveller Tip- if you have the oppurtunity to book the beach villa/suites..go for it, the views are pristine and are only a stone throw distance from the beach. I could go on and on writing about each of our delectable and sublime experiences. I wish the entire team at Kences palm beach a very happy and rewarding new year.

We stayed there for 2 days and we enjoyed every second of those 48 hrs in such a memorable way that we gonna cherish them for good . The ambience, vibrations and the air were so pure and enticing that anyone is going to fall in love with that place. We fully enjoyed the beach area as we booked the rooms closer to the beach. Services provided by all the staff from top to bottom is commendable . The housekeeping staff were so polite and well trained which was really really exceptional experience to us .Security staff were very loyal to their duty who take care of their customers for their safety security mainly during the time people enjoy beach area.
We enjoyed the food a lot and our kids were well fed throughout which being a mother is a matter of concern when go out. I highly recommend this place for those who want to chill with family and small kids and get the inner peace mind.

Kences Palm Beach resort has beautiful beach villas which are bang on the beach. Waking up to the sound of waves, a beautiful sunrise and walking on the strip of beach which is fairly less dense .. was a surreal experience.
The beach villas are spacious with a nice sit-out that offers a beautiful view of the ocean. Since these villas face the east, you get a beautiful sunrise view as well. The room is well equipped with the required gadgets and amenities.
The resort is well maintained and with the staff highly conscious of COVID safety, you get a feeling of safety and comfort when inside the resort.
The menu is currently restricted but the quality of food is very good. The room service was also pretty quick.
Vikram Falodiya, the GM of the resort, is very hands on and interacted with us quite frequently, enquiring about our comfort and ensuring the best service.

The Kences Palm is a nice property close to Mahabalipuram. It is a property that runs perpendicular to the beach so they have a few cottages facing the sea and more facing the garden but that is not an issue. Fortunately I took a beach facing cottage and it was definetely worth it to be able to see the beach and for the easy access to the beach especially in this Covid times when the pool and Spa were shut so that is the only entertainment. The property cottage ws comfortable with all the required aminities. The food I must say was excellent and the staff very helpful. The wifi could be a little better and should be offered free in today's times but for that there is nothing to complain. Care is taken to see everything is sanitized and clean. Definetely worth a visit if one is looking for a property that is not crowded and maintaining cleanliness.

Very good beach resort. Staff are courteous and helpful.
We were hesitant to travel in the middle of the pandemic but needed a vacation. Got a good feedback from a friend about the cleanliness of the resort and decided to visit during weekday to avoid crowd.
Good that we visited. The resort was very well maintained and all areas were clean. Tuesday and Wednesday the occupancy was very low and increased on Thursday.
My daughter enjoyed the play area, the beach and seeing the turkeys, hens, ducks and turtles.
Speacial thanks to Ram & Rajendra at the restaurant for taking very good care of my father and my 4 year old daughter. They were very accommodating to fulfill their needs.
The stay was made even more memorable by the Manager (Sanjukta) who gifted a nice sea shell garland for my daughter and sent a complentary birthday cake to celebrate my father's and daughter's birthday month. My daugher and father were very happy.
Will surely visit again!

It was finally time for the first vacation since pandemic struck. Friends , families , including elderly parents flew down to the sate with least restrictions on travelers. Mammalipuram is about an hours drive from Chennai Airport. There were options like Taj Fishermans Cove (Pricey), Radisson Temple Bay ( Location and campus spread) but we chose ITC Welcom for its 9-acre sprawl stretching right from the East Coast Road up to the beach. Beach Villas with a great view of the sea and most importantly they had just about 97 rooms hence would be way less crowded. The property is well spread out, quiet and beautiful. The service is impeccable , the staff , lead by Ravi Teja were professional and helpful. The food menu is not lavish or great in terms of spread but the preparation leaves little room for complaints. The beach abutting the property is clean and safe enough for a dip. There is a volleyball net and a couple of swings thrown in a sand pit . I sand was strewn with sharp rocks and I wish the hotel could take care of this and provide more recreation like a TT table or putting green , considering the vast real estate at their disposal. Parents enjoyed the spacious balconies and spaces to walk around. The Spa also has competent staff. Overall a very good holiday experience.
