Located within a walking distance from the boulevard where there is great sunset and food and beer options, this pension house feels more like a clean and comfortable small hotel. Staff made a mistake and gave me the Php750 room when I only paid for Php500 but it was eventually settled the following day. Room I stayed in is spacious, well-lit and spotless clean from the room to the bathroom. One can easily tell it is well-maintained and fixed regularly from linen to furniture. There's a balcony too (which in my case, I used to dry some clothes). Reception is a small counter by the entrance but has some sort of variety/sari-sari store. They do serve cold drinks too (beer included!)
we only stayed here with my friends with only P1200 double queen size bedroom. The room was clean and there is also a living area outside of our room where we can just sit and talk. The room doesn't have how shower and TV is small like a computer monitor. WiFi is also not in range in the upper floor. I would say I recommend this hotel when traveling to dapitan as it is close to gloria de dapitan and boulevard. Budget hotel, good hotel.
Checked in here for three nights from May 3 - May 5, 2016. Here's why I only gave 1 point: - The water color is yellow - TV reception is not that good - Night guard sleeping - Room lights aren't bright enough, senior citizens can't see well Good factors: - Friendly morning staff (Tho there's one I don't like, she's kinda rude) - Great breakfast - City Center - Near tourist attractions.
We were able to know this pension house because of a recommendation from our first choice, Home Sweet Home. They were repairing their driveway so it was not convenient for us to check in there. So, she told us to try Raquel's instead. Location: The pension house is not located infront of the boulevard but its ok. You can just walk to the boulevard if you want. Room: the room that we got was the family room. It was spacious with 2 twin sized beds. There is no hot and cold though as according to them, the rooms with H&C showers were all taken. We got this for P1,200/night for 3pax. Not bad. I think the room can even accommodate 4 pax. They provided us with 4 small bath towels and soaps. The room is with AC, btw. Price: They have matrimonial beds (twin size) for only 600. Their most expensive is P1,600. This price already comes with free breakfast. Now i wondered why nobody gave a good review for this hotel.:) …
