Best for gatherings, they all have packages which is affordable for our budget. I love the place it is beautiful, the staffs are so friendly and overall I will recommend it to others who are looking for a place for their ocassions, etc.
This is my third visit to Dakak with the last visit over 15 years ago. The place seems the same except for improvements: more cottages, additional pool, new location for the front desk, and additional food outlet and function room. The service has improved and the food in the menu is delicious! The downside, limited internet access (available only in the front desk). It would have been great if the shuttle service uses solar power instead of gas powered.
If your are on a tight budget you don't have to pay its expensive accommodation. You can enjoy the beauty of the resort and the powdery white beach as a back-packer or day-tripper by paying its entrance fee for a day visit. You don't have to rent a car or a van in going to Dakak. You can take the regular air-conditioned coasters from the Dipolog integrated overland transport terminal in barrio Santa Isabel going to Dapitan. From the public market their are three-wheeled vehicles going to the resort and other beaches like Napo. Since the pool are for guests just take a bench fronting the beach and open your picnic bag for your lunch on the beach. There is a fish sanctuary few meters off the shore for you to snorkel. The resort has is aquatic sports center where you could rent a jet…
When you're in Dipolog City, you should visit Dapitan City. When you're in Dapitan you should visit or at least stay overnight in Dakak. Its a complete package so far.. beach, swimming pool, gym, they have it. Chinese, Italian restaurant, bar, you'll have your options. Room is good, staff are good, its a very rewarding getaway..plus a free tour to Fantasy Land, good shows and presentations, I'm proud to recommend Dakak!

' We had the Family pavillion ( I think thats what it's called) room, because we were many. The beds were good, and the AC worked well! Our complaints though are the showers. Somehow water would come out of from the tiles on the wall or from places you wouldn't expect. at one point it was difficult to turn off the water as. If they fixed the showers, so that they were proper and wouldn't be wasting water, the rooms would be much better. On our last day there, we brought our luggages at the…
