They got the lousiest staff and worst customer service a hotel could have (Yes, I am not exaggerating). We booked four rooms for a family vacation and paid in advance and checked-in at almost 4:00pm only to have rooms with no pillow cases and worse, no towel! Requested three times in the front desk for towels to take a bath and freshen-up for our tour visits and until we arrived at 11:00pm after the activities and still, no towels! And only to have a response of, “sorry ma’am, the previous shift didn’t washed the towels. And sorry, I don’t know how to use the machine.” As if they’re not bothered with our concern. And note, I think they only have ten rooms and cannot even address our concerns and attend our basic needs. Slow response and filthy rooms with cockroaches and mosquitoes! I seldom complain and give a negative rating in Tripadvisor but customers should be advised. Too bad, Hampton Place – the only worst thing happened from our trip in Dapitan.…

we checked-in around 11am on feb. 27 after paying 800 pesos plus 150 pesos penalty for early check-in. we chose room 8 because it was the end corner and just fronting the open entrance-exit to the street. we drove around the city and ate our dinner outside because the hotel cant serve us food. we returned around 4pm and we found out there was no water to take a shower. the attendant told us that the control faucet was not functioning properly and that we have to use the bucket to fill up water in order to take a shower. you have to wait 30 minutes because the water pressure was very slow. worst of all, we cant charge our cp because the outlet is burnt and i have to walk into their office and use their outlets for charging. i requested for transfer but the lady refused. the agony did not end there as i found out there was no inside dead-bolt lock and the closet was so dusty from the bottom and only one towel and no toilet paper available. we checked out early and would never come back. that place needs a complete make-over......…

We where supposed to check in to dakak but it was fully booked. Now, as we rome the city we found this decent place to rest from a very long ride, the room is clean with a very spacious parking space, and the price is very affordable, a space for 2 will cost you $20(800php), thanks to the very accomodating staff.

A friend highly recommended this place. Our room was spacious even with the additional two single beds. There was ample parking space but there are no gates nor security guard. We were assured by their friendly receptionist that the place is quiet and peaceful. The bathroom is kinda small but very clean. However, when you use the shower, make sure to remove the cover of the drainage, otherwise it will be flooded in a jiffy. They serve breakfast at P95 (rice, fried egg and a choice between bangus and longganiza with cup of coffee or bottle of water). We requested the night before that breakfast be served anytime between 7:30 to 8:00 the following morning. The breakfast arrived almost 9 am. The sad thing is that they could only serve 3 out of the 4 plates we ordered. They ran out of food. However for the price of P800 plus P150 for each extra bed, we will still come back here. Travelling by land and sea, From dapitan on my way to dumaguete, between the islands of mindanao and negros, in my car on the Boat midway to Dumaguete City, I realized that I accidentally left my phone in this. Good thing the housekeeping staff especially to Marian Medina of Hampton Place Dapitan that she even went out of her way at her own expense just to get in touch with me. Kudos! to the management and staff! I now have my phone with me. expect me to bring in more customers! keep it up.!

Its a very nice 1 floor inn. The front desk was open 24 hours and anybody could check in or check our and its just a walk away from Sunset Boulevard, Gloria de Dapitan and the rotunda. They may have no lunch and dinner but the restaurants are walking distance plus, a service van. They have everything which is like your home.

very nice room. romantic and cozy. good service and complete room amenity. one of a kind experience. the sleep is quite good. atmosphere and ambiance of hampton is cozy and worth the rate 800 pesos. very private location far from disturbance. nice bathroom and well spaced bed room. cute lobby yet accommodating ambiance very friendly place. perfect for couples, really.
