We stayed at Mullins Heights for just over two weeks in Februay/March. The location is perfect for Mullins Beach,& Gibbs Beach & our son walked to the gym in Speightstown most days which was within easy reach. To watch the sunset over the water from the terrace was a nice end to the day. There are a few good places to eat within walking distance too. We are frequent visitors to the Island & have no hesitation in recommending Mullins Heights as a place to stay. Ricky & Glenda are lovely & couldn't do enough to ensure our visit went smoothly. It was lovely to see the monkeys playing in the trees in the mornings too!

I can not rate Mullins Heights high enough, Glenda & Rick ensured our stay was fun and we left feeling like part of the Mullins family. I stayed with group of 6 friends in the beautiful, spacious penthouse apartment. The swimming pool area is great for relaxing and cooling off, Mullins beach is 5 minute walk away. I can not thank Rick and Glenda enough for their hospitality. Barbados is beautiful, people really friendly and local food vans deliver to your door delicious bajan food. If you want to experience bajan life, leave the all inclusive hotels behind and enjoy the lovely atmosphere of Mullins Heights.

Spacious 2 bedroom apartment within reasonable distance to beaches let down by poor cleanliness and in need of refurbishment. No proper oven or toaster supplied. Upstairs 4-bed apartment let out at weekend for noisy family party.

I booked this based on other reviews, which were all good/excellent, our holiday lived up to this expectation. Apartments are a good size for 4 we actually brought another older child and Ricki and Glenda who run the apartments provided a zed bed. The apartments are situated a short walk from Mullins beach which is beautiful and clean, there are only a couple of restaurants in Mullins which is good if you want to be quiet, but if you want a bit more activity Holetown is only 3 miles on a bus. Buses are excellent during the day, and anyone coming to Barbados needs to try the yellow buses which are privately owned and stop anywhere to drop off or pick you up, just be prepared for loud reggae music being blasted out and races between other private buses and blue buses, it feels like you are on a roller costa and little like your life is in their hands. The really good thing is that the fair on any bus is $2 Bajun dollars (66p), regardless of the trip, we took 2 buses to Crane Beach East side (recommend) and the whole trip cost £1.32 each way. Pool area is lovely, kept clean, there is small bar where you can play some music, it is usually quiet although shared by other residents. Ricky is very helpful and goes out of his way to try and make everyone feel welcome. I would without any hesitation recommend Mullins apartment to anyone wishing to visit Barbados.

We sat on a table overlooking the sea with a glass of rose! The waiter arrived at the table and we asked what food he recommended... It was the West Indian chicken curry! Absolutely gorgeous, very courteous staff and fab surroundings.
